Tony Kowalishen: Pierre and team did an excellent reupholstery job on my wife’s favorite Mr. chair and hassock. Our cats had their way with this Ethan Allan set for a few years so they looked terrible but uber comfortable. The good folks at SJ Custom Upholstery made both prices better than new 🤗.My only observation is that like many artistic folks, they could be more organized & have a standard quote/estimation sheet. I made one for our project so we would have a point of reference. It’s not a big deal but good to know going in. It’s still a 5 ⭐️ service in my book.

I got my quote emailed to me promptly and then got busy for a couple of months before I could bring in my couch cushions.I called her up a random morning and she said that I could come by to look at samples and drop off my cushions.She was very understanding when I told her the reupholstery was going to cost half of what I paid for my entire couch and she showed me some budget fabrics that matched perfectly.Even though she was helping out another client, she was able to show me a couple of swatches and I was in and out within 10-15 minutes.She recently took the time to notify me that she will be on vacation for a few days but my cushions should be ready next week.The cushions turned out fantastic and the kids are back to jumping on the couch.

Izak Kapi: They did a good custom job on my tesla model s seat covers. I could not find any seat covers to buy. This place has good selection of materials and colors. The car looks great now and I dont have to worry about the original seats getting dirty.I am adding to my review after a year of using the car. The seat covers are still great. Tesla ripped the back and front seat covers during a service, I did not know how to install it back and the front was really badly ripped. I went back to Valencia's. The people did all for me, made it look like new again and took their time to really do it professionally. I was thinking I will have to pay for it but the guys did it with not a question asked. One year after the original installation they out done them self and reminded me what good service used to be like. I salute them and of course they now have a customer for life. Great job, great service and all with a friendly smile.

Violet River: Very worth while advice on reupholstery of my RV
Roy Parker: My mother had two vintage chairs that were purchased in the 60's. The seller said they came out of Hearst Castle, San Simeon, CA. The worn and soiled printed fabric had to go after 50 years. Had George and Paul and his team re-upholster from quality fabric we supplied and purchased at a store in Milpitas, CA. George recommended Naugahyde on the arms. The re-upholstered work was done perfectly and they look wonderful. Highly recommended.
KENNY OLSON: Not only is it quality, but along with the glass co. n clack fit. They deserve an award for their civic sense. I lost my home and business. I lived behind their building for almost 2years. Till I got back on my feet. They didn't hassle me, have me removed, etc. Even though they didn't like it. I was safe. Now i"m forever grateful. Paul knew exactly how to get the look I wanted with these in a high quality dark vinyl called "Vintage Port". Along with antique nail head trim they are truly classy and beautiful now. C. Holly Davies: Wonderful!After two kids and a dog, my grandmother's Chinese Chippendale furniture was ready for landfill, but I couldn't bear to part with it! Too many memories!Didn't know what to do! Then, one day, I read about Upholstery Specialists on Autumn St. George and Paul to the rescue. The fretwork had been broken, but over the years I carefully saved every piece, and they put it all back together like a jigsaw puzzle. Plus, they're so sweet! They understood perfectly that the furniture had to be saved, otherwise, something inside me would die!!!Well, I think they were surprised that I didn't stint at all on my fabric choices. George even warned me with due concern that it would all cost money. It did, but the results were great! When my son saw our living room, he started shouting, "Beautiful! Beautiful!" At first, I didn't know what he was exclaiming about. Of course, it was our new antique furniture.

I’m sure it will look great.I hired Mark to repair my antique pine table and it looks horrible. It doesn't even look like pine any longer. It is covered in thick grey lacquer and is so very ugly. You can see my chairs are pine. The table is not. I've called and called, but Mark's voicemail is full. I've texted and he says yes, he'll come and fix it, but then he never follows through. And, it was VERY expensive. Not a great experience for me. If Mark will call and come and fix my table, I will revise this review, but it's been months now and I can't get any response.
Ian Abbott: Mark did an excellent job of completely refinishing a cherry headboard made by Ethan Allen that my wife and I have owned for more than 30 years. He picked up and delivered the headboard, and he completed the work in one week less than the maximum of four weeks that he had said that the job would require. The price for the work was reasonable, Mark was friendly and professional throughout the entire process, and our headboard looks like it did when it was new. Thanks for restoring a valued piece of furniture!

Rich H: , replaced the old seat padding with foam, and re-cover the seats and finish them nicely. This saved me from having to buy new seat cover material and having all three seats refinished. In addition Tony made a custom fit carpet for the front half of the car which I love. Tony's pricing is very fair, and the quality of his work is excellent. Tony is easy to reach and easy to coordinate drop offs, taking measurements, and to arrange pick ups or installation.

R Chang: We visited after needing a repair for a small tear in our car seat and received fast and reliable service. There was cosmetic damage on one side of the seat and T&N ended up replacing the entire seat for the initial price we were quoted for- $200. Highly recommend visiting this small, family-owned business! They are cash only, so be prepared before you go.

James Kieu: Hands down the best prices in the Bay Area. His work is most impressive and is superior to the quality of OEM build. I had my armrest console redone. He took it out and told me to come back later in the day. I came back after I got out of work and his work was so well done, that I asked him to redo my door panel armrest also! He told me $280 for everything but I paid $300 even for an awesome job well done. Pictures for proof. Stitching was a nice touch.

After calling a few places and reading reviews I found this place. The people were courteous and the the reviews were great so decided to try them out. They did a great job, very economical and overall a very good experience. I recommend them
