Onnei: Took the Altamont Express for the first time to Stockton. It was a pretty good experience. I hopped on the train early and waited. Right before departure you get conductors saying “ this is the Altamont Express, not Amtrak!” Since multiple trains go through this station, it makes sense for the warning. It’s definitely worth the $15.50 over getting stuck in traffic all the way. The train is very clean and comfortable.

Isidora Allen: I just had the pleasure of meeting Sunny who works at the front desk of Amtrak San Jose. Outstanding customer service, he truly went above and beyond. Such a wonderful human. While waiting for my train I spent the last hour observing how Sunny treats every customer with extraordinary kindness. Truly this man is something else, Amtrak is lucky to have him.
