Mark Kennedy: Recommended dishes Kobe Style Beef Shabu Shabu, Angus Lean Beef

Canaan Lewin: Got food here the other night and it was delicious. I got the vegetarian options, and my friend got the seafood option, and we both really liked our dishes. As someone who has only had shabu shabu only a couple times before, this is another layer of fun for going out to a restaurant getting to cook your food on your table, on top of good food and excellent service.Vegetarian options: Clearly marked vegetarian options on menu.

Hana !: restaurant. You choose a soup base, out of classics like shoyu

Amy H.: Today was my first time trying this hot pot place since my friend recommended it. We came around lunchtime and ordered the Creamy Vegetarian soup base, the Spicy Sichuan soup base, medium sized toro belly, and we got the shack sauce. The inside was busy since it was during lunch hour, but the staff were well organized. When the Creamy Vegetarian soup base first came out, it tasted a bit creamy but it felt like it was missing something. After adding vegetables and the toro belly, the soup base tasted better. I would preferred the Spicy Sichuan soup base with mild spice. The Spicy Sichuan - mild was seasoned well and when you add the vegetables and toro beef, it enhanced the soup base even more! It’s definitely my favorite here! I would also recommend getting the Shack Sauce, even though it’s an extra $0.50 for it. The sauce pairs really well with the toro belly. The toro belly meat was soft and you can taste the quality of it.Service was friendly and food was brought out fairly quickly. This is a good spot to go if you are craving hot pot. I will definitely be coming back to try the other soup bases and meat!

Jamey Winn: Great food, great service, did not disappoint.

Amy H.: We came here during dinner time and waited about 10 minutes for a table. We went for the AYCE shabu with the Angus beef meat only.Service: 10/10The server who served us was very accommodating. We had originally chosen miso broth and seaweed broth but we realize the seaweed broth was just hot water and 2 small pieces of seaweed, so we asked the server to change that broth to Tonkatsu broth and she switched it immediately. We also asked for chili oil with extra peanut sauce and she also brought it out quickly. I also notice that as soon as we were done with oir meat, another plate would come quickly, which shows how attentive the workers were.Shabu: 10/10We love the two broth! If I had to choose which one I like more, I would say the Miso broth would be my favorite! The angus beef was brought to us with a thin sliced cut. The meat quality was very juicy and you can tell it's fresh since you see them slice it in the middle of the restaurant. Putting the veggie bowl in the broth with the meat made the broth super rich in flavor.Overall, I would come back again when I'm craving hot pot. This is a great spot for casual dining.

Alex: Very good, solid choice for Japanese shabu shabu. Ordered the large American Kobe beef, because portions are too small otherwise.Tip: don’t get the “lean” Kobe, as it is drier tasting. You need the fat, which boils off a lot anyway, to get the good flavor.Got the spicy miso broth.Tip: sit at the tables, not the counter, if you want to control the pot temperature yourself.Recommend and have been back many times.

Erica: Spicy Tonkotsu is the best

Cristina Evans: so they were super awesome. They give you these large plates with about 10 slices each on them. We tried the angus, American Kobe beef, kurobuta pork, and lamb. Everything was great. We also had the best service. The waitstaff here are awesome and very attentive. We also spoke with this lovely gal who gave us some good recommendations to visit certain areas of San Francisco and how to be safe.

Jenny L: Really good service and food. The food quality is good and consistent.

Connie Ono: , and several types of protein to choose from in regular or large sizes. Preferably regular as they give a good portion.Vegetables are automatically given along with your choice of rice, mixed rice, or noodles. Also has starters like Edamame, takoyaki, etc to name a few.Overall, really enjoyed the experience, would love to come here again!

Helen Guo: The food is mediocre, and the serving pot is somewhat small. For the broth, we got house special and kimchi. The house special turned out burnt, affecting the flavor. For the entree, we got Kobe and lamb shoulder. The Kobe beef was flavorful but the lamb shoulder turned out dry due to the lean meat. As for the Sake, it was decent but lacked a distinctive flavor, tasting like water

Benson Tsai: : In my opinion, the best thing to get here is their wagyu. The black angus ribeye is a close second.--I got the Angus belly with the kimchi broth and it was great.

Taichi Pot Shabu Shabu: what do users think?

Y T: hot pot mixes cuisine of Japanese & Taiwanese!✨ 3 levels of prices and also depending on time of the day.🕰️ RSVP through Yelp to get table and get seated fast once arrives!Service was attentive but a bit slow and hard to catch the server when it’s busy.Note: you can request to try the broth up to 2 before ordering the whole thing to ensure you like them! The miso white salty, but I like the spicy selection of Tonkotsu

Viet: Food: 5/5

Kanika Sachdev: They have some of the most flavorful broths of all the Shabu places we've tried. We had the tonkatsu with garlic oil and the silky miso dashi broths and both were delicious. The choice of meats and veggies is diverse and the service is prompt. If you're not drinking, the Supreme selection is a very good choice. When they refill the broths, they don't just add the soup base, they also add a bit of the original broth so it stays rich.

YOSHINO STUDIOS: I recently visited Taichi Pot in Santa Clara and was thoroughly impressed, making it my new favorite Shabu Shabu spot in the Bay Area. The quality of the Shabu Shabu was outstanding; the meat was exceptionally fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of their ramen noodles. Additionally, the service was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and efficient. I highly recommend Taichi Pot for an unforgettable dining experience.

Cheng-Tai Kuo: !Recommended dishes Hot Pot …

Frank Young: Cupertino 💎You will be hard pressed to find such a well run hotpot/shabu place. They're #1 in the northern California area for good reason.

Abigail Yew: Very yummy food 😋, meat was really high quality, veggies were fresh, and broth was so flavorful. Staff are very friendly and overall a great experience.

Han Lie: All you can eat for around $40 per person. Good food selections.

Tom Li: First time trying tonight on a weeknight with a friend. It was only half capacity even at 8pm.My mala broth could have been spicier but overall acceptable taste. Meat quality on the Kobe and Angus beef seemed better than Seapot's. Wish there was a larger selection of Chinese veggies.Unlimited refill on fountain drinks. Parking was a breeze in the parking lot.

Anel Rodriguez: .

Zoe Z: The same taste and texture as I had it in Japan last winter. Serving cool version pancakes and drinks. Not a fan of their dalgona since it’s 75% ice cubes…

Vincent Phi: Featuring their Creme Brulee Premium Two Stack, this soufflé style pancake brings the jiggly to the party. This style of pancakes makes everything so light, so you don't have to worry about feeling heavy afterwards!@phidingthefam

Eden Y: Food was at, not best I’ve tasted but still pretty good, price for pancakes were significantly less than the one in SF

Vincent Priscilia: Their pancakes are the best and the service is one of a kind. I strongly recommend trying them out and bring the family too.

Michelle Lynn: Even though the pancakes are the star of the show, don't underestimate their other food. We ordered the Chicken Karaage, Gyoza, Takoyaki, Matcha Pancakes, and Chocolate Hazelnut Pancakes. Everything was excellent! They're understaffed, but the staff is very friendly and never stops moving. Their prices are fair as well given the time to prepare. We will definitely return!

Ariel Pilare: Good service. Surprisingly good food. Had the Waguu Beef Curry and wife had the Unagi Don. Big portions and big taste. Crème brûlée soufflé pancake served warm was on point. Don’t let the run down decor fool you. Will come back to try brunch.

Shabuya: what do users think?

Matt Quinlan: Really nice lunch spot. I stopped in it was 21.00 for lunch, in addition to the meats there is some seafood options in the bar. Be careful though, if you go for lunch close to 3 pm there’s a little sign on the buffet that says if you eat these items you’ll be changed for dinner price. Regardless though, the food was very fresh, labeled as to when it was put out and the staff was very attentive and so friendly. Restaurant was clean too. Would recommend and I’d say the bigger your party the more fun it will be. There is a 1.5 hr limit so eat fast.
