Zone 8 Sports Bar & Grill: what do users think?

Bennett David: Zone 8 Sports Bar and Grill offers a bustling atmosphere with plentiful food options, making it an ideal spot for casual dining and entertainment. However, if you're seeking a high-quality sit-down meal, it might not be the top choice, as the menu predominantly features bar food fare. Nevertheless, the selection is diverse, ranging from classic appetizers to hearty sandwiches and burgers, catering to various tastes and cravings. Where Zone 8 truly shines is in its top-notch drink offerings, with a variety of cocktails, beers, and spirits to enjoy alongside your meal. Additionally, the venue doubles as a casino, providing an added layer of entertainment for patrons looking to pull some slots and try their luck after dining. Overall, Zone 8 Sports Bar and Grill presents a vibrant setting for casual dining, drinks, and gaming, perfect for those seeking a lively atmosphere and a good time.

D'Arcy Demianoff-Thompson: It's a sports bar. What can I say? Well, there are a lot of sports minded people here. All with their own opinions. I tried to enjoy a Guinness beer and nachos. I hoped to be able to watch recaps without all the redirect and commentary. No such luck.Food was okay. Not enough cheese on the nachos. Beer great - fresh from the tap. Not skunky. Clean glasses. And excellent customer service.

DArcy Demianoff-Thompson: Nice little place with a great selection of beers. We ordered jalapeno poppers - not good at all. They barely had any cheese and were topped with some kind of unidentifiable ingredients. The service was fantastic! The steak nachos were plentiful and again barely any cheese. The guacamole was fantastic!

Brian Turner: Man, I just needed to get out and explore my new area. This place will not become my new favorite. The food and the people were awesome.Recommended dishes Skillet Nachos …

The Brit - Sports Pub & Patio: what do users think?

Umar Mohammed: I recently moved to the US so was looking for places to watch sporting events. Have watched a few events here and always had a great time. The staff is polite and professional, the food is tasty and well priced. There are a lot of screens so wherever you’re sitting you’ll get a great view of the match.Highly recommend this venue, it’s become my go to spot for watching sports events.

Chris Graham: Great place to grab a beer before heading to downtown events.

LISA FARMER: We had a lot of fun at this place! The employees were really nice but I think they need more staff. We got half of our order and then we had to remind our server about the rest of the order. We were almost full when the rest came. I think it's confusing that you can order thru the app at your table, but also order with your server because things were forgotten.I think the intentions are good but maybe it's too much because it was really busy inside. The BBQ pizza was okay. The cheese was still in strings and not melted. The Brussels sprouts however, were the best I have ever had!! You must try them! Our server was very nice but man, he was busy running back and forth. Maybe some staff called out because a lot of people are sick right now.I'n not sure what happened in the bathroom but the entire floor was soaked. I didn't want to step in there but had to, so don't wear nice shoes if your going to need the bathroom.Overall it was a good experience, just a few things that could use improvement to make it a great experience

Stephen Straker: This review is for the day of the Euro 2020 final only. Two bartenders only for a crowd of hundreds was a travesty. The female bartender that day was rude and obnoxious due to being overwhelmed. A guy next to me tried to order a beer for at least 20 minutes and finally she came over and took out her frustrations by yelling at him “can’t you see how many people are ahead of you?”. Due to that, I did not try to get her attention but several times she washed glasses right in front of me and never asked if I’d like another beer. So, I remained silent. After waiting 45-55 minutes, a lady came and stood next to me to order drinks and this same bartender started to serve her but the lady kindly stated that I was ahead of her. The bartender gave me a disgusted look upon serving me. Brit management let us down that day, sorry.Updated: I appreciate the response from Brit management and I think the explanation is perfectly valid and understandable. My friend and I had both gone to the Almaden Brit and found it closed, thus we went to the downtown Brit. We did speak to several people who had done the same. Additionally, this is not the first establishment that has had trouble rehiring people after COVID. That said, I’ve been to this Brit before and enjoyed the food, drinks and service. I will return if I’m in the area. Upgraded to four stars due to the explanation and previous visits.

true funk soldier: We are in San Jose for Shiny Side Up bicycle ride and show. Our hotel is next door, so we came in to see if the UFC fights where on. No fights, but what's better dam good well made drinks from one of the coolest bartenders Noe. We walked in sat at the bar and the first thing he said what's your name and where you from. Next time we are down here from Sacramento it will be our home bar.

M L: Always a great place to go!

Patricia Vasquez: We been coming here for years because my granddaughters have Ice skating but this year the service change and not for the better. We had to go up front and order our drinks and food , then pick it up when ready and it’s just put on the side no contact with anyone and yet they spect a Tip? I don’t think so!! When they come to our table and take our orders I won’t mind tipping.

Rick Kim: Flo’s great. Super chill & professional. Give her a raise immediately for sure

We Mo: Ryan and Naomi are the best. Plus we got souvenir cups for free and our food came in less than 2 minutes ❤️And there was no tax 🤯

Teal City Prodigy: I love coming here during the hockey season. Its definitely a great and comfortable place to watch hockey, hangout with friends and even study there. Service Is very friendly and quick

Nicholas Crank: Always consistent. Cold beer, decent beer selection that seems to be rotating. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and it's entertaining to watch hockey while having a beer or a bite.

Brandon Wang: Great place to watch sports on TV or live

Stuart O'Brien: appetizer was excellent. Small assortment of craft beers and a great place to take in a Sharks game on the plentiful TVs. Lots of seating and didn't feel crowded. Great venue for after skating or watching a local league play.

Goose Letona: Great visit today!!My neighborhood dive bar.I love it!!Karaoke Thursday and Friday!!I have come to know and love the Bartenders.I meet up for a Lunch and drinks, worth the visit for all.

Michele Conlan: I used to live near there in 2015-2016 so I remember how it was then. It was a really fun, popular place then. Lots of camaraderie, patrons and staff. It's bigger now but clearly not as popular. No one was playing pool or darts, actually only about 15 patrons in the whole place. The bartenders are not very friendly, they seemed kind of bored.Very subdued atmosphere.

Grill 'Em Pizza & Sports Bar: what do users think?

Walter “BigDaddyWalt” Deleon: A colleague and I went to lunch at a restaurant in a business district with ample parking.Debbie, our server, provided excellent service. We ordered pizza, chicken strips with fries, and a steak sandwich. The pizza had a delicious flavor and fresh ingredients. The chicken strips were juicy and flavorful. The steak sandwich could have used more seasoning, but it was still enjoyable overall. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, with multiple televisions for watching sports, a pool table, and a dartboards.

Bob Wall: .Might be nice for somebody looking for a dive bar with a couple of big TVs

Phentos: but it sure didn't taste like it!To boot, the bartender+server+hostess Debby was bopping around to a half dozen tables nonstop with wonderful vibes.Great spot, glad I stopped in!

ET 3647 (Gadget Geek): Meeting friends here for TNF and have had pizza twice, served fresh & hot. The taste is good and of course we are enjoying beer with the pizza. Happy hour until closing which not many places do now. Will be trying other food items in the future.Service is friendly and the environment is typical sports bar but it's not noisy or overly crowded

Tommy Hepner: I have been going to the Yard House throughout my travels for years. This particular Yard House didn’t meet the standards of the others I have gone to. This was the second time going to this spot and the food wasn’t as good as other locations. Not sure if they changed the food flavors. I will try a different location and see if there is a difference.

Sammarye: Cool little local bar. First time visit there, and all local buddies. Going on my list of good dive bars!Parking: A couple of rows of parking right at the door

Michael Cangemi: It's like Cheers, everyone knows your name... Very much a local bar with great people and great entertainment...

William Dunbar: I had an interesting experience at Mike’s Place that I’d like to share. I showed up for a 49’s game and I was having a good time when I collapsed flat out on the floor while carrying three drinks, spilling and breaking everything. The people around me thought that I was hopelessly drunk but actually I had a medical issue. My doctor thinks that my heart stopped beating momentarily. Regardless, the staff and patrons at Mike’s were SO NICE to me and I truly appreciate their concern and care.Don’t worry: most of the people at Mike’s are not falling apart like I was that night… just know that they are great folks!

Lightning bolt: New owners great ideas Hopefully they can hang in there long enough. See Some of their ideas come into fruition. I will remain supporting them. Not many of these Hometown bars left.

Ernie Evans: Nice place to relax and have a drink, pool tables and darts too. The food is amazing as well

Raymond Gonzales: Stevie's Bar & Grill in San Jose isn't just a bar, it's a sanctuary for the soul and a paradise for beer enthusiasts. Each time I return to San Jose, Stevie's is my go-to spot, a reliable haven where the beer flows as freely as the good times. With a draft beer selection that's second to none, Stevie's is like a grand library of brews, each one a story waiting to be savored. The attentive staff elevates the experience, making sure your glass is never empty and your spirits are always high. The vibe here is electric yet welcoming, a perfect backdrop for the delectable snackable treats they serve. And if you're in a crunch for time, the adjacent laundromat turns a chore into a chance for relaxation – sip and savor while you spin and rinse!Stevie's is more than a bar; it's a clever twist on the traditional, a gem that makes San Jose shine a little brighter.

bartika dutta: The service and the atmosphere make this place robustly fun! The Cali pork belly taco is packed with flavors! The chicken street bowl was tangy and earthy. I asked the bartender to make a drink for me and I ended up getting something tasty and sweet. The colors and lighting create the kind od atmosphere that I enjoy. There are also amusement options like dart boards and pool tables.

Mauro Fherro: I love this place.

Jack's: what do users think?

Josie Guerra: Jack's is a mood. Chill But lively. The atmosphere goes with the crowd. Drinks are good and they are affiliated with jtown pizza, so food options are great. I've always had a pleasant experience here. This is a regular place I meet up with my friends to have a guarantee good night out.

Mrinalini Nath: Atmosphere: 5/5

Marty Behler: Food, drink, Atmosphere was great! Will go back!!! Best pizza I've had in many yes. I THINK FOOD WAS FROM J-TOWN PIZZA.

Jesus Vasquez: It's been at least 10 years since I'd visited Jack's, so I popped in real quick because I was in the area. I ordered a couple of beers and a whiskey from Monica the bartender and I must admit this place looks better than before with the remodeling and outdoor patio. It was how I like a bar to be, dimly lit, sports on Tv's and music playing. I would definitely stop by again when I get a chance.
