S Mather: Ordered the we’re just friends sandwich with all the stuff in a combo with chips and drink. The sandwich was awesome - the bread wasn’t dry or too big compared to the contents inside. Combo came with a Carmel apple sucker as a bonus. Only negative was the competing music between the 80s in the lobby and the uncensored hip hop from the supply room.
Amy H.: I ordered the Madison Bumgarner here and for the bread, I selected the sourdough bread. The burger consisted of steak, pepper Jack, American cheese, yellow BBQ sauce, and a bit of Habanero sauce. This sandwich combo is one of my favorites whether I go to Ike's. However, I give it four stars because the meat could be a bit more evenly distributed.Amorite of the meat was in the middle and whenever I bit the side of the sandwich, there was no meat at all.This order was a takeout order so service was very quick and I didn't have to wait long. This is a good casual spot to go to for a quick lunch or dinner.

Rocky Quat: This spot is only open a couple of hours a day and is cash only but everyone that goes here seems to know that so they’re always prepared. If you aren’t there’s an atm machine for you. The bread is baked in house so it comes out hot and they use boarshead meats so you know it’s quality. I ordered a classic and got it within minutes. The place is a well oiled machine that’s tucked away in a corner. I’ve been going to the coffee shop next door for years but never thought an awesome sandwich place was within feet of me. For sure I’ll be back.

Olivia Villanueva: Another well loved and highly recommended family owned business. To call it just a sandwich shop would be an understatement. There are stunningly beautiful paintings decorating the entire interior of the building with little trinkets, newspaper clippings and signs with funny quips hung in the empty gaps. The paintings are all done by the owner, Barbara, who continues to work in the shop daily. The sandwich’s are numbered on the wall each with mayo, lettuce, cheese and their special house made spread. The sourdough alone is a work of art. The softest tangiest most delectable bread I’ve ever tasted, Boudins and Sourdough & Co. can’t even compare.You can dine indoors and enjoy the rich history of Barbara’s life via pictures and newspaper clippings. Or take in the quintessential garden decor in the terrace with the occasional bodega cat to entertain you.Definitely recommend the spicy turkey and the potato salad.

IMHO, the best in the south bay.A couple of pro tips:* Don't visit on the weekends close to closing time as they frequently run out of bread and close early* When ordering, ask them to bag the produce and not put it in the sandwich, unless you're going to eat right away. This keeps the bread crisp and the sandwich can be heated up later in a toaster oven with ease.* All of their sandwiches are super delicious; there are no bad choices.
