Reza Morin-Dayani: I loved Richard's Monday West Coast Swing class and social! Excellent instruction that prioritized the structure, connection and feeling of the dance over complicated footwork. They made the material accessible to all levels by scaffolding and even gave me tips on how to use stretch and compression to incorporate movements from my other dance forms into the WCS framework.
Rebecca Tapia: Very nice place to dance on Saturdays, Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha🎼🎶🎵
Melissa Russo: Can't wait to come back- super friendly community and the teachers were amazing! See ya soon!
Susan Kuramoto: Dance Boulevard is the most fun place to go in the South Bay, always something to learn and so many different classes. Of course great instructors like Phillip Pettinger for first timers, intermediate or experienced dancers.
Andria Michele: Very good dance studio with two levels. Went to a few Argentine tango events a few weekends ago. The studio was clean and spacious. I wasn't a fan of the check-in process which was rather slow so I would recommend coming early to make sure you can start your class on time.
Janeen Martino: So many dance style choices, different beginner classes are offered 6 days a week, friendly and helpful staff, and reasonable prices for dance lessons!
Eduardo Hernandez: I choose that score because I was very happy with the class and the staff. Thank you

Carlos Simas: Been coming here 3 years, I’ve taken every class they offer. When I started I was terrified to dance in public. But their amazing staff helped me get out of my shell and now salsa dancing is my main hobby. The Get Down undoubtedly changed my life!
Austin Toloza: From the moment you step through their doors, the atmosphere is charged with positive energy and infectious vibes. As a beginner, I wasn’t sure what to expect and was a bit intimidated to learn how to move, but their instructors are unparalleled in their approach. They're not only exceptionally skilled but also incredibly patient and supportive. Every class feels like a party, making the learning process not just educational but genuinely fun. I always leave with a smile on my face and a newfound appreciation for dance. If you're on the fence about joining a dance class, take the leap with "The Get Down" - you won’t regret it!

The Get Down focuses on the social/party aspect of dance with classes in the street styles like popping, locking, and breaking, old school hip-hop, and club dances like Waacking. There is also partner dance classes like Salsa and various workshops that pop up here and there. Jim P: wanted to ensure we would have fun on the dance floor and not embarrass ourselves. I called a few large studios in the area for information on group and private lessons. Starlite was the only studio who responded. I spoke with Hiral who carefully listened, clearly understood what we were looking for and suggested we meet with Ken.Ken’s passion and energy are quickly apparent. We came with two left feet but he made us feel comfortable in this new environment from the very beginning. He taught us moves and gave us exposure to a few different ballroom dance styles, with the end goal being that we would have fun in a social dancing environment – not perform to perfection in a competition. His sense of humor was perfect for us, and we laughed as much as we danced. Ken also has an uncanny ability to thoroughly summarize each lesson in a 5 minute video that we took home for practice at the end of each lesson. We enjoyed the lessons so much that soon we were doing double-lesson sessions, asking to learn more and adding more lessons than we originally planned for.We can’t recommend Ken enough. He’s an outstanding instructor. His passion, patience, personality and pragmatic approach were a perfect fit. Mission accomplished.
Kassi Ams: ideas were welcomed and he used his talent to quickly put together choreographed movements that gave us so much joy practicing in the studio, as well as continuing at home!
Jeffrey Newman: Nice studio. Good people. Good instructors. Large floor, big enough for ballroom.
Matt: Ken is an amazing dancer and a wonderful person.
Em Hooper: The dance floor is large, well maintained with lots of light. We enjoy the west coast swing group classes. the instructors are excellent.
Clarissa Lam Yuen: Definitively gonna stop here anytime I’m back in the Bay Area.
Alex Goldstein: Great social dancing, awesome teachers. Nice studio with a good vibe. Highly recommend, I’ve tried a few studios and this is one I keep going to.
Troy Lundstrom: My wife and I took classes with Ken for our first dance at our wedding. Ken is the perfect instructor for both beginner/experienced dancers. He quickly connects with his students and immediately picks up on their weaknesses/strengths and energy; he custom-choreographed an entire routine based on this: great coach/instructor!
Rhianna Hixon: My fiancé and I worked with Ken at Starlite Ballroom for our first dance and it was an incredible experience. We came with nothing but our song and Ken created custom choreography for us, broke down the moves so we could easily understand them, and helped guide our practice to ensure we nailed every move. He was patient, attentive, and an amazing dancer. Not to mention, the prices at the studio are super reasonable, and we plan on returning for additional ballroom dance classes in the future.
Emily Lewin: My husband and I decided to sign up for dance lessons for our first dance. We are incredibly lucky to have met Ken. From our very first lesson with him, he had us doing things we never could have imagined we could do. My husband was not a dancer and loved our lessons! We would come home and practice our dance and it would bring us closer. Even if you're not taking lessons for a specific purpose, I highly recommended Starlite Ballroom and Ken specifically. He is attentive, talented, fun, and dedicated. All of our wedding guests loved our first dance, and we had the best time! Thank you, Ken, for making our wedding special!!
Jason Huang: My wife and I came here for help with our first dance. We feel so lucky to have the opportunity to work with Ken as our instructor.Ken helped with everything from song selection, to dance basics, to choreography. His energy and passion proved infectious, and every lesson flew by because we were having so much fun!Although Ken clearly has years and years of experience, we really appreciated how collaborative and open to feedback he was. He worked with us to make sure we genuinely liked all the moves we were doing as part of our routine, and was quick to brainstorm with us when there were certain moves that didn't feel right to us.We ended up with a 3-minute first dance that we loved practicing and had so much fun performing. So many of our guests were surprised, as they weren't expecting a choreographed routine. For me personally, our first dance was my favorite part of the wedding -- and that's a big thanks to Ken!We also brought our parents in to get some quick lessons for the mother-son and father-daughter dance, and Ken was great working with them as well.Overall, we can't recommend Ken enough. We want to come back soon for social dancing as well, since we had such a good time working with him!
James Z: Instructor Ken is awesome. He is very creative teaching young couples the first dance. We chose a very hard and fast classic song. Ken planned our moves accordingly so that beginners like me and my wife can show our friends some nice Waltz moves.Ken is very patient and experienced. We had a problem for cold start. Every time we start dancing from doing something else, we could not connect very well and kept forgetting moves. From his extensive contest experiences, he suggested that we should stay in a closed space and listen to our song or doing a bit practice. In this way, we can emotionally connect and be focused. I still remember that we were so confident after the warmup. Our first dance was a blast, thanks to Ken. If you are not a pro but want to shine during your first dance, he is your savior.
Mary Hoff: Very very very special shoutout to dance instructor, Tommy who choreographed our first dance. He catered to our skill level and put together THE MOST beautiful dance to a pretty challenging song. He brought forth our personalities while also showcasing our love! The guests absolutely loved it. We will cherish that video forever. Tommy, you are the very best! If we could give you one million stars, we would.-Mary and Zach
Young Lee: Best dance studio to learn and enjoy dancing.
Y R: The Starlite community is kind, welcoming, and highly professional. But I will reserve special praise for our instructor Ken. I would recommend Ken for a wedding dance or those looking for someone with right combination of knowledge, patience, and eye for choreography. In each lesson Ken would put an incredible amount of passion and energy, while making sure to adjust the lesson to fit skill levels. At the same time he was keen that everyone wants the final output to be unique and beautiful. If you are on the fence, sign up. You won't regret it, even if you have two left feet like me.

Kelly Stafford: We had such a wonderful experience at DNA Dance! Danya choreographed a gorgeous dance for our wedding and we were absolutely amazed with his ability to teach two dancing novices such a beautiful routine! Brian Hueramo: Fast and friendly
Jinni: Piano Lessons going goodMy son was upset tht his first teacher suddenly quit. The second teacher is good too but kinda busy so absent and he deals with lot of substitute teachers thereforeGreat if this can be minimal”
Lan Nguyen: Flexible hours, fantastic teachers and staff, and I like that there are a lot of programs and incentives for young learners.
Dana Yates: , for approximately four years now. During this time period, two of our sons have received piano instruction from Craig and violin instruction from Miss Cristy. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience for our boys and both of them have learned an immense amount about not only their respective instruments, but also about the responsibility that comes with taking music lessons. They have also learned about key aspects of music appreciation and performance. Craig, Shirley and their wonderful staff are all VERY compassionate in their interactions with their students and families. In our case, we expressed that performance skills were less important to us as a family, as our one son has extreme anxiety issues and doesn't enjoy performance in front of large crowds. We simply wanted a gentle and compassionate violin teacher who could help nurture a love of the instrument within him, rather than have him dread practicing or playing the violin. We are amazed every time he picks up his violin to play. It is such an accomplishment for a child like him and it has enhanced his self-esteem. As for our piano playing son, he started working with Craig in his mid-teens. Even though his lessons had to stop due to preparation for college this past year, he still returns to play the piano on his own. Craig did such a wonderful job working with him and teaching him not only how to sight read, but also how to dissect a piece of music and put it all back together. We find our son going to the piano now, as a source of enjoyment and relaxation. In our mind, that is absolute success when it comes to the question as to whether or not it was worth the financial investment and time commitment to giving our sons music lessons. We have seen Santa Teresa Academy of Music and Dance grow from it's very beginnings and now it truly is a hub of creative arts!!! Dancers, and musicians of all ages gather in this studio to creatively express themselves and it is such a positive vibe that Shirley and Craig have created. THANK YOU for the love of music that you have instilled within our children and also for the wonderful standard of music instruction that you provide to the San Jose community!!!

AJ: Cool studio
Jamie Comarsh: and we decided to sign up. Fast forward 5 years later, we are still there, even though we moved 45 minutes south 2 years ago. It's obvious the owner does this because she loves it, she is encouraging and so sweet with the students. We have loved every single one of the teachers that have taught my daughter and I am so thankful that they are sharing their love of dance with her and all the students. It really is a big family at Infinity, from the owner, teachers, staff and volunteers, we are one big OHANA!
