Bill Lazar: Damian Castenada--what a wonderful surprise. An attorney who is caring and kind, and goes out of his way to be helpful. I had a contract dispute that I needed advice on. Not only did he give me advice on the aspects I was expecting--Small Claims Court, arbitration and mechanics liens--but he advised me on elder abuse as well as filing a complaint/claim with the state contractors license board and the state bar association. He also told me of local free legal services to help me craft my responses and complaints, as well as where to get Small Claims Court advice. He sent me pdfs on how to craft a case and how to present it to the judge. He sent me the law on various aspects of my case, so I had the rules to back up my claims. Before talking to him. I was very worried about a lien being put on our hone by an unethical contractor. After our discussion, I feel empowered to go after these scumbags.Thanks for being such a mensch, Damian.

He did a similar thing in a situation that involved a payment to me. I didn’t want the person coming to my office. They arranged the whole thing, so I didn’t have to deal with any of it and they brought my check to me, which I really appreciated. I just think they're good people who are easy to work with. You can email them anytime and they’ll get back to you. The other thing that I liked about Kirk is that he didn’t rush me.
