Golden Hills Pony Club is a chapter of the United States Pony Club (USPC), and is in the Middle California Region (MidCal). We are located in Southern Santa Clara County with our members coming from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Hollister and beyond. We are a multi-generational community of equine enthusiasts with a focus on youth. Our mission aims to develop character, leadership, teamwork, confidence, respect for self and others, horses, land and service. We are a community that teaches the care of horses and ponies in mounted and unmounted sports through participation and example.
Our Pony Club members participate in a wide variety of activities, including mounted and unmounted instruction, clinics, rallies, volunteer activities and fundraisers for children and adults. We emphasize good horsemanship practices with respect to healthcare, nutrition, stable management, handling and riding a mount safely, correctly and confidently. During âunmountedâ meetings members learn about feeding, shoeing, veterinary care, and other areas of horse management.

They are flexible when a cancelation happens and are always super understanding. My daughter entered spring down summer of 2020 and is know jumping. I feel super reliable when she is jumping and I am not watching. Perfect for any ages!

Janine Pulliam: Started here with lessons for my daughter and went to a half lease- now we own a horse. Iâm here practically everyday and it is the highlight of my life. Clean as you can find. And fun people to enjoy riding with. I donât know what Iâm doing and feel comfortable that everyone here is rooting for me and my horse.

Maddy Cook: I canât say enough good things about Whispering Hills! The horses are truly spoiledâ nice stalls cleaned on a daily basis AND large pasture for day turnout. This barn has a mature and relaxed atmosphere that feels impossible to come by in the Bay Area. Everyone is friendly without being pushy; if you want to show up, take care of your horse, and leave, no one will judge you. if you want to find a group to ride together, thereâs plenty of different disciplines, skill levels, and ages so youâre bound to find your people!

Karen, the owner/trainer was extremely patient with my daughter. She was so knowledgeable with horses. We learned a lot from her. This is such a gem hidden in the middle of Milpitas.
