Patti Selan: Excellent piano store. I've purchased 3 Yamaha pianos and sold back 2 of them over the past years with great results. The managers and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and low-key; no high pressure sales culture, and you're free to wander around and play and try out pianos to your heart's content.
Koosha Mahmoodieh: We bought our piano from this store. The owner was very attentive and helpful with tips and whatnot. In addition, my son takes a piano class with Ms. Michelle on the 2nd floor of the store. She is very kind and patient.
papaya: Visit this store for several times, it’s the dealer for Yamaha. Usually during the weekend, there are many customers but there’s only one or two staffs can help. Most piano are available for playing so I don’t mind spend some time waiting for the staff. Ann is really friendly, she introduces me different pianos and shares stories. I would recommend people come here if you’re looking for Yamaha piano.
Виталий Попович: Cool
Rohey: Very nice and helpful staff. Amazing selection of Yamaha pianos.

Rasmus Larsen: Great selection, and Ann is great! She helped us pick out a Yamaha Clavinova CSP-170.

Carol Ismail: Silicon Valley piano is a quality business with quality products and quality staff and facilities. As Vice President of our local piano technicians guild membership we make use of Silicon Valleys Performance Hall directly across from the store for our monthly meetings. The room has a wonderful concert piano and is new and inviting for meetings and performances.
Gretchen Hull: Silicon Valley Piano have been great hosts to my piano studio masterclasses. The Bechstein concert grand sounds great and was in tune. They were friendly and accommodating, and helped everything to run smoothly!
Anna Gingis: Great hall, amazing concert pianos and very nice hosts. Everything was very well arranged and organized when we arrived for our venue.
Christine Liu: Thank you.
Tim Morse: I'd been shopping for a Yamaha upright piano for a month before I visited Silicon Valley Piano. Immediately I was given a warm welcome by sales representative Jamison Tsuchiya. I told him what I was looking for and my price range and he immediately showed me their lovely instruments and allowed me to play at length to find the right instrument. I decided on a beautiful Yamaha UX10 and I'm very pleased with my new piano. The whole experience of shopping at Silicon was a pleasure - I highly recommend them for your piano shopping needs.
Zitong Yang: We recently purchased on 2007 Yamaha C6 from SVP workinng with Bessie Wu. The piano has just been delivered with a difficult crane job through Encore Piano Moving. Throughout the process, Bessie is helpful, responsive, and professional in coordinating the movers, sales, customers, etc. After the piano is delivered, we had various questions about the piano and Bessie quickly sent technician to us on the same day resolving the problem. In a nut shell it has been a pleasant experience.
Anru Zhang: I recently purchased a piano from Silicon Valley Piano, with Bessie's excellent assistance. Her knowledge and kindness made the experience enjoyable. I also rented a piano for a year, and I couldn't be happier with their service. Highly recommended!
Derrick Lau: Really enjoyed the process at Silicon Valley Piano. Mi Kim is great and very responsible and responsive and answered all our questions and concerns. We also like the selection of pianos here. Definitely look for Mi Kim when coming here.
Hans-Peter Loeb: . Ended up buying a W. Hoffmann and are very happy with it!
Jing Xie: We have limited experience with piano, but Ms. Bessie helped us a lot when choosing the most suitable piano. They have a various choice of pianos. Their team is professional and efficient.
윤하영: Silicon Valley Piano is the best place to buy Yamaha piano in this area. Don't waste your time in the other shops. Mi Kim helped us a lot to pick the best piano for the family. Thanks to her expertises, we went for U3 fully refurbished. She was not a sales person but a great mentor for your music journey.
Kim Lina: who takes pride in what they offer. Our experience from beginning to end was pleasant, relaxed, and we felt zero pressure to buy anything. The piano arrived on time and was set up as promised.I highly recommend the Silicon Valley Piano if you are looking to invest in a piano.
Ilya Blinov: Excellent venue and professional staff. I held my studio recital there, and all went smoothly.
Jihye Kim: I purchased a Yamaha C3X from Silicon Valley Piano. I am both a piano teacher and a pianist and I was seeking good quality of used piano. I had been searching for a used Yamaha grand piano, particularly one built after 2000. However, there weren't many options available in the Bay Area. I was thrilled when I discovered this piano shop with a reasonable price considering the quality of the piano.
I bought this piano right after trying out the one I currently own. The sound is amazing, and the piano's quality is exceptional.Furthermore, Genki is very kind and helpful. He provided me with ample information about the piano.Thank you!
NN SONG: Unlike online shopping, where you're just a click away, you've got to make the trip to the store and tinkle the ivories of various pianos, comparing their melodies before you move them home. So, if you're thinking of saving a few bucks by joining a piano flash mob or trying to win a piano auction online...it's a high-stakes performance. I've prowled around many piano stores in the bay area, and it seems like Silicon Valley Piano might just hit the high note when it comes to prices and service – talk about a symphony of awesomeness!
Chrisoula Kapelonis: We've been renting a piano from Silicon Valley Piano for the last 5 years, and they've been exceptional. Extremely professional and helpful with the best and highest quality selection of pianos to choose from. An amazing family run business with some of the kindest people we've interacted with. 100% recommend them to anyone
Monica YAO: The piano store has many pianos for rent or sale. We don't have much experience with pianos, but Ms. Bessie helped us choose the most suitable piano. We are very grateful to her for giving us many valuable suggestions. Her team is professional, responsible and very efficient.
Elena Orduyan: I have been renting and buying pianos from Silicon Valley Piano Company for over a decade for my piano school in Belmont. The management is highly professional and consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate their customers. They have an extensive selection of Yamaha and Kawai pianos, which are known for their exceptional quality and sound. They are also offering their showroom for piano recitals.
Max Allen: Worked with Jamison on a piano sale. He was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and reasonable. Would definitely go back to these folks again.

Su Ou: I recently purchased a refurbished, pre-owned Yamaha UX3 and couldn’t be happier! Austin the owner and Jonathan were fantastic to work with — I visited all the other piano stores in the South Bay and the folks at Colton were the best at helping me find a piano with a sound I like and fit my space. They were clearly very passionate about pianos and patient — I came in twice and called between then.Highly recommend!
Douglas Cajas: I spent months looking for my perfect piano. #1, I wanted a white piano #2, I didn’t want it to sound tinny and metallic. This search was harder than I expected!I finally came across Colton Piano, and I found a fantastic white chrome German-designed piano that was priced far below what I expected.Jonathan and Austin were super friendly. I think they are both concert-level pianists, and they have economics degrees. They helped me understand that pianos can cost a lot more if the manufacturers are “helping” music artists in exchange for exclusivity. It makes perfect sense now, but it never crossed my mind. Jonathan and Austin, thank you for the wonderful piano!
Polly Chan: I love this store, and I often go there for no reason. When I asked many piano teachers and friends, they highly recommended it. Even the owner of the music classroom recommended it for buying pianos. After visiting a few times, when friends wanted to buy a piano, I always brought them here...The location is very convenient, right across from Valley Fair. The storefront is not very big, and even a bit hidden. However, as soon as you step inside, all you can see is great pianos...As I walked into this store, it was very comfortable, and the space was spacious and clean. As soon as I walked in, the owner introduced himself very politely. He noticed that I wasn't very familiar with some piano brands, so he patiently began to tell the stories and histories of many brands. It was so fascinating that I couldn't help but keep asking questions, and the owner was super patient and explained every question in detail. I learned so much in just one or two hours...I grew up in Asia, and I only knew Yamaha and Kawai from childhood. When buying my first piano, I only thought about the brand and where it was made, considering not wanting to discount it too much when selling it, but I ignored many of the essential conditions that a piano should have.It wasn't until I stepped in here and got in touch with so many pianos with better quality and sound that my horizons widened! So many things, explained by the owner, were simply a baptism of knowledge! I didn't pay any money, but I had a solid piano brand story lesson. To find a good piano, the owner even went to the studio factory of the German brand's headquarters, thousands of miles to find a good piano, and directly discussed with the brand's owners and high-level executives. In the Bay Area, in Silicon Valley, this store offers a glimpse of the world-class pianos, What's even better is that you can play any of the world-class pianos you want, very generously! If anyone needs it, just go for it and visit. You will love it too.
Ye Ding: Great piano gallery, knowledgeable owner, and professional staff. We recently purchased a new Brodmann PE187 here. It has a beautiful warm sound with touch that can compete with Steinway model A. A fraction of Steinway price. the new owner is kind, knowledgeable and genuinely helps us find a piano that suites us. I have heard great things about the previous owner of this gallery and I think the store is in great hands with Austin, the new owner after Dave retired.
Akina Kondoh: The owner is very nice and knowledgeable about different models of piano. The store has a piano practice room to rent, too.
Sam Xu: It is a great store. The owner Dave is a very nice person and he is honest and always give you the information you want from your point of view. I bought a baby grand piano in February in this store. It is an excellent piano just like Dave said. I am new to Piano and don't know how to tell if a piano is good or not good. Dave told me that the one on the floor is a good one as it has a good sound board. I was suspicious as the sound from the keys I played does not sound as good as the one next to it, but the one next to it is ~$5000 more. Dave suggested I should go with the one which is cheaper one I was interested in earlier as it fits my budget better, and he said this cheaper one actually worth 3X of the price as it happens to have a good sound board. I believed him and bought this cheaper one. After 2 tunings, now it sounds beautiful, better than the more expansive one I saw in his store. I am so glad I listened to him. Not only I bought a nice piano but also I save lots of money. Normally, salesmen want to make more money by suggest customer to buy more expansive one, but Dave treat customer as if his friend and make suggestion as if he were the customer. I am really happy with this piano and play it everyday and sometimes forget about the time when I am on the piano. Thank you so much, Dave!
Gary Wang: We have been searching to buy a grand piano for a couple of months and have visited several piano stores in south bay but could not find the right one. We almost gave up until we visited this store. Gloria was very polite and nice to show us the various options. Dave the store owner is super knowledgable and I learned a lot about piano. They were not pushy at all, but rather educate us on the pro and cons, a true consultative sales process. The price was also very competitive. In the end we bought a brand new Schimmel Grand and my daughter loves it and enjoyed playing it every day. We are very happy with the whole process, and would highly recommend Colton Piano without any hesitation.
Nicolette Harris: We had a wonderful experience at Colton Piano Gallery. David was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He patiently helped us find exactly what we wanted at a great price, and we left feeling happy and positive from the lovely customer service. Would highly recommend this store!!
Hailey Dang: Outstanding customer service. I usually don't write reviews, but my visit was unforgettable. You can tell how much passion Dave and Gloria have for music. Dave was very informative throughout the entire visit and this piano gallery is the best you can get. I don't think I would've had as good of a visit elsewhere. I knew exactly what I was paying for and I am 100% sure I got my money's worth. He knows what he is talking about, and none of it is just a sales pitch. I came in uneducated, and came out with a ton of knowledge. Gloria was also very kind, it was overall an unforgettable experience and I know for a fact that I will be back.
Goutam Krishnamoorthy: was very friendly and understanding. No pressure from their side to buy anything. Good service. Will think of this place when I am in need of a piano.

paul wang: Fantastic service and guided to a beautiful model O Steinway which is now sitting in my family room. Sounds great and plays well.
Lily Cai: I was so happy to meet Chrissy in the Gallery. She is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable! When I visited the store she helped me and my student find the perfect Model B, I was impressed for her work, definitely would love to keep in touch with her!
joyu liao: .
Fan Zhang: I decide write here to express my feeling about current Steinway B purchase experience. Chrissy Huang is the epitome of excellence. Her consistent and transparent communication kept me informed at every step of the process. Her promptly addressed any concerns I had and ensured that I felt supported and well-informed throughout the journey. I recommend Chrissy to anyone seeking an exceptional Steinway Piano. Her market knowledge, negotiation process, and genuine concern for her clients make her an indispensable partner in my heart. Best wishes to Chrissy and Los Altos Team.
Stephanie Villanueva: Meeting Chrissy during a serendipitous break between showing appointments at the Steinway showroom was an absolute stroke of luck! My colleague Stacie, had been searching for a piano for a while, and the excitement in her eyes was palpable as we entered the showroom.Chrissy's knowledge of Steinway pianos was nothing short of impressive. She effortlessly guided us through the various models, sharing valuable insights and comparisons that made the decision-making process much easier. Her passion for these instruments shone through in every detail she shared, and it was clear that she genuinely loved her work. But beyond her expertise, Chrissy's friendly and personable nature made the whole experience truly enjoyable. We found ourselves engaged in lively conversations with her, laughing and sharing stories as if we were old friends. It was evident that she not only excelled at her job but also had a genuine desire to connect with her customers and make their piano-buying journey special. If you find yourself in the market for a Steinway piano, I wholeheartedly recommend seeking out Chrissy at the showroom here in Los Altos. Her expertise, combined with her infectious joy and genuine love for the pianos, will undoubtedly make your experience unforgettable. We're grateful for the encounter and can't thank Chrissy enough for making it such a memorable and positive one.
Hirokazu Inoue: ; Chrissy provided some detailed insights to clarify my decision. In the end, a few weeks later, I took a delivery of a piano that personally speaks to me. Highly recommended.
Heidi Ding: and then recent upgrade to Steinway Model M Spiro R. Chrissy was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She gave us great advice that would best suit our needs instead of trying to push the more expensive options. She went way above our expectations to ensure the whole experience of having a beautiful and beautifully tuned piano in our home. Our experience has enhanced our impression of the Steinway brand.
Josh Reeves: A great selection of Pianos if you are feeling musically enclined! 🎹🙌😄
NeoNeo Chen: We are very happy with our Steinway piano. The store manager Chrissy was really nice and helpful and she helped us find the perfect phono with perfect price. It was a great experience and would recommend friends who wants pianos here.
John Meyers: We are very happy with our Steinway pianos. The store manager Chrissy, who is very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you!
Jean Bondoc: I really do not know where few of these bad reviews come from. I like to give a bad review but I really can't because I went inside the store with my son on November before COVID-19 and met Chrissy Huang and she gave me some valuable and friendly advice. I made an appointment for our son. Chrissy was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She is also a pianist, and has deep passion on music and also care about her customers. She has been with Steinway for 20 years. Sarah Chan the salesperson at the desk was also very helpful and friendly. I would not want to buy one that several people have touched it. So for me, I like the fact that the store owner does not allow people to play on the pianos unless they're serious about buying. You never know if their hands are clean are not right? And imagine anyone can walk into a Steinway to play anything they want. It's Steinway after all. We are very excited to buy Steinway Model M for our son and decided to test it so that it could feel the tone, and managed to buy it. The entire transaction went smoothly and the piano was delivered on time. My experience was excellent and I intend to go back. Go!
