Thoai-An Le: but I needed a tow and needed a location to get my car towed to. I called John to see if he would be able to fit me in. He calmly said likely yes today but also please send photos to him so he can be ready and confirm so my tow would be helpful. Thankfully He was able to take my car today!! He was so nice and honest of what possibilities there were and once the car came, he quickly inspected it and told me what would be needed. Reasonable quote

He then popped the obd 2 analyzer in, and confirmed that it was an egr issue. He literally gave up a sale to point me in the right direction. A T Morgan: Stopped by on Friday to ask questions about what I should do for my Dodge Charger. When I asked about different types of exhaust, he said I've been doing this for 30 yrs, trust me. Walked out 90 min later with the most awesome system for my car. This guy is awesome, professional, and I'm glad I went there. Can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend.

Brendan Lee: I went to him to install a j pipe and had a part welded on, around half a year later it was starting to leak a bit but I took it back to him and he re did the welds for me and added a hanger at no charge. Highly recommend him, stands by his work.

While they couldn't get us anything cheaper than our current shop, I was very impressed with Bob's customer service over the phone, as well as the younger gentleman who took my calls. Bob had a keen interest in hearing out our issues and analyzing the symptoms. Knowing how busy repair shops are, it was really something else how he handled our request.

He did not make me feel like an idiot for not knowing much about cars and unlike most other mechanics, did not take advantage of that fact. I had an issue with my car’s exhaust which was quoted at Midas for quite a large sum so I called this place looking at their reviews to get a quote and it turned out to be 80% less than the cost that Midas had quoted. In the end owner did not even charge me for the exhaust repair. I think I found my permanent place. Thanks so much!

Ben G: This is the best full-service exhaust shop in the Bay Area, California, and most likely the Continental United States. I called Kwik-Way about a custom downpipe for my 2nd generation 4Runner. Other shops gave me lead times of a week or more, but Kwik-Way took the car the same day and had the work done in less than an hour. Bob works on everything from daily drivers to show and race cars, and his decades of expertise produces better quality work faster than anyone else. As a long-time amateur blacksmith, welder, mechanic, machinist, and fabricator, Bob and Dan's speed and efficiency are incredible to witness, and their personalities are such a joy to be around and experience. You can tell that it's a family business as soon as you step in the door, and the whole time we were there, people filtered in and out to catch up with Bob and share stories that their families had together. And it was so meaningful and touching to feel invited into that family over our shared passions.

Mike Yao: Yesterday when I did the oil change, they find my car's muffler hanger is broken and need to be repaired soon.I found this shop from Maps. Bob is a very kind and friendly man. Also he is very experienced.I was imagine that to repair this hanger might take me half day and hundreds of money. Sara Rawland: He did a great job then, but I had to wait a couple of days for the part. This time when I pulled up he wasn't busy. It was during the day on a week day. He told me that the prices for catalytic converters had gone way up, which I knew, and it would cost a lot more than $200.00 like 6 years ago. Fortunately, he was able to get a catalytic converter that fit my car delivered in about 20 minutes, and in less than an hour he replaced it. He found me a chair to sit on while I waited. It did cost me $695 this time which I had expected. He showed me the old one and it was full of carbon and explained to me that all old cars burn a little oil and carbon builds up in the catalytic converters. He said I would likely need a new one in 2 years the next time I needed it smogged. I took the car back to the smog check place and my car passed with flying colors. I highly recommend this shop.
