Peter Nguyen: My son has been attending Piedmont Hills Montessori Academy since he was two years old. Every day when I pick him up, I ask him if he enjoyed his day, his response is always yes. He loves his teachers and all his friends. It is evident that he is learning a lot from this day care/school. He knows his ABC’s, can count to 100, is potty trained, knows all the names of the planets, etc. I’m surprised by all the information he has learned. He was never a talkative child and somewhat awkward in social situations with other children. Ms. Lara took the time and spent one-on-one time with him to make sure his social skills were developing and now my son loves to talk. There’s a large playground area in the back and the entire school ground is enclosed with a high fence. The playground is something else. My son loves the huge train and always talks about the big pirate ship juggle gym. There’s also a sandbox, bike path, seesaw, performance stage, and tanbark to help soften the impact of tripping. The classroom environment is spacious and every time I go inside it is clean. Which is a shock to me because children are typically messy. The staff has years of experience and will address parents’ concern. I like how up front and transparent the staff are at this day care/ school. They keep you informed about your child’s development. The day care/school has an app that parents can use to interact with the staff. Everything is done through the app, which makes life a whole lot more convenient. The app tons of functions such as checking children in and out, messaging, payments, pictures, policies, and many more. I recommend Piedmont Hills Montessori Academy to any parent looking for day care or who wants to start the child’s educational development before kindergarten. It is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, which gives me peace of mind whenever we drop our son off for the day.
