Now days when you meet someone i find myself asking "what do you do" it is what it is. A respectable career 15 years now!

Angel Clemente: Hey. I'm a student at Job Corps, and I gotta say the opportunity is great! Money isn't much, but it is enough and fair for just being a student. There is a lot of drama that goes on and is just a bother when trying to connect with like-minded people, but the people that are there to improve and the staff and teachers that care about the progression of the students is why I'm giving this 5 stars.They have given me a wonderful experience so far, just not the students.
Lissette Chavez: I Attended and completed my course for Medical Administration M.s Karrie is a great teacher I hope she is still teaching there. It’s very controversial this school. But for what they provide at no cost is beyond exceptional. Only bad thing is your only allowed off campus if you do volunteer work.

L L: I’m a previous Job Corps student. I went to San Jose in 1994. I went there because I had been kicked out of my house, no job, no real skills and no high school diploma or direction. I was overwhelmed and scared at first. It was so long ago. Very structured, curfew was fairly early and you could leave on weekends if you got a pass and had to be back by a certain time Sunday night. We received a small allowance each week for keeping our dorm room clean to standard. I was in the GED program, finished quickly and started an administrative assistant program that was self paced and typically 18 months. I finished in 6 months. They got me housing for a month with another graduate at a local hotel suite, gave us an allowance to get us off our feet and get employment by helping us construct our resume and sending them out. We didn’t get housing until we were hired so they knew we were able to pay our bills. I’m now a nurse because I went to junior college later. I am so thankful for job corps. There were definitely some tough individuals in there but I was able to focus and progress. It’s self paced, so it’s up to you how well or fast you go. I was motivated and determined to get it done and get out quick. I’m super thankful I had Job Corps help in getting my life straight.I just got done reading through some of the reviews, and I too had Mr. Preciado! I was in their program at the time called TCU. He was as a great teacher. Again, you get out of it what you put in, in my experience. I’m definitely grateful for Job Corps.

carlos hernandez: Hector Contreras has a great team, they walk you through the process and answer all your questions, they put themselves 100% for you to accomplish your goal, but you have to make the commitment of your 100% and read, study and review all the materials they provide, I did all my part and was able to pass my law and trade exams, after about a year of studying, reading and reviewing the materials got my license, I got to thank Hector for the help!
