There’s shuba salad, borscht, paska, pirohi and even chocolates such as ROSHEN Chocolate Candy "Evening Kyiv" Ukrainian Gift Box. What’s more, the young man who works here is amazing! He goes out if his way to make you feel welcome every time you step into the store. I can’t wait to return.

Yevgeniy Urdenko: Kalinka is the best Russian store in SF Bay Area. It cannot give lowest prices like large stores in San Francisco but they provide a top-level service. Groceries, pastry, beer and wine choice is great. I especially recommend every morning freshly made pirozhki with eggs.I'm a lucky person to live near that store
Elizabeth Lee: There are quite a few Russian delis in the San Jose area. This one is convenient for us because it's relatively close to Santa Cruz. It also is my husband's favorite. Great Armenian and Georgian wine selection. If you're looking for a unique gift to bring to a party, check this place out!
Jul get: Thank you guys. Very helpful stuff. Called them about particular medicine, payed over the phone and had the Uber driver picked it from there. Sounds simple, but not every store can do that.

Mark Anthony-Johnson: The meats come out hot, tender, and perfectly cooked. There’s a lot to choose from and you’re never waiting very long for food. There’s also a salad and condiment bar that has a lot to choose from. This is definitely a restaurant for almost anybody even vegans. There’s relatively cheap parking across the street in a parking garage and free street parking after 6pm. It’s not cheap but worth the prices

Bastakokak: Taurinus restaurant located in downtown San Jose, is my family’s favorite Brazilian steakhouse. Our “go-to” place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and mini reunions. My family and I head over to Taurinus and satisfy our craving for the juiciest and mouth watering selection of roasted meats, grilled pineapple in addition to an inviting and delicious salad bar that keeps you coming back for more. Dont even get me started on their yumilicious Brazilian cheese breads! They are to die for 🤤 The facility, service, staff and overall experience … absolutely amazing and highly recommended!!! Probably the nicest restaurant owner I have ever interacted with and gave great suggestions on what to order.The only cons with this establishment are that the there are only 10 or so tables, and it was nearly full for when we went for lunch. So you may not be able to get a table right away. The other con is that it can get really loud. We definitely had tk shout to hear each other when I got filled up.

Katharine King: A very nice decor restaurant, the 🍸🍹 Lisboeta taste so good. I liked the portion of their dishes, not too big for one person, and not too shy if sharing between two.In general the cooking is fine, the vegetables, sauteed kind of impressive, full of flavors, cooked perfectly. The beef tongue in tomato sauce a little disappointed, beef tongue cooked fine, but tomato sauce kind of tasteless.Overall, enjoyed lunch, and surely will go back some other time.

You can do the full menu with meat or choose a pescatarian or vegetarian menu, and all were tasted by our table with rave reviews. Multiple servers assist you throughout the meal. Also, pre-order a box of pastel de nata, as these are the best we've had outside of Portugal.Parking: Through a narrow alley behind the restaurant.

Estabraq Obidat: The restaurant and dishes give a very authentic vibe. They advertise very clearly that the meat and chicken is all halal. I thought this place was ok, but my husband really liked it. He had the Uyghur Lamb Wraps and I had the Lamb Noodle Soup. We also got beef and lamb dumplings. The staff gave us two complimentary yogurt-drinks, just because our dumplings were a little late.Dietary restrictions: Their food is halal, and they have vegetarian options.
Kalok Chu: Definitely the best lamb skewers you can find in the bay area.My friends and I went in for lunch on a Saturday, we got there around noon and were seated immediately. We were lucky because a line was formed around 15 mins later, this place is popular!Lamb kebab: 5/5 the best you can find in the bay. Must order!Samsa: 5/5 very good appetizer, lamb wrapped in bakery.Big Plate Chicken: 4/5 very flavorful dish. It’s a little bit on the salty side so you need to eat it with either noodles or rice.Roasted lamb rib: 4/5 again another great dish - the meat is very tender but on the fatty side. Skin is perfectly grilled crispy.Homemade Yogurt: 4/5 typical Uyghur dessert, you should try if you haven’t tried before.Special milktea: 5/5 this is a surprise for us - unique drink you won’t see anywhere else. Starting out with the samsa with lamb, onions, black pepper, and sesame, this is a simple but really delicious appetizer. There's a very good balance in the savory flavor.The eggplant with mashed garlic kicks it up with its more fiery flavor courtesy of the pepper oil and chili oil.The best dish we had was the Polo, a rice dish. There is a wonderful balance of savory and sweet because of the carrots and currant.The kebabs are also good, but I did find the lamb slightly under seasoned and needing the onions to give it a needed kick, whereas the chicken kebab was seasoned well.Lastly,the kat-kat dessert is all around goodness. Just don't miss it, it's worth getting,

Amanda Deubler: My husband and I visited on Saturday. Parking is limited, you may end up walking a couple of blocks. We came just for a glass of wine and a snack and stayed for a few glasses, pizza, and fries. The parmesan and truffle fries were outstanding! Nice and crisp fries with not too much truffle. We did half-and-half truffle and pepperoni pizza, very good! The crust is on the thinner side but well balanced, nice and chewy and delicious! Apple maps was getting a bit confused when I typed in the name of the restaurant, it wanted to take me to the Los Gatos location, I had to type in the address instead. The menu on the website is quite a bit different than what we experienced on Saturday, could be a difference between locations?
john STETAK: They just added pastas to the menu that day. The Voda Sauce was excellent. The wines were very reasonably priced. Service was great, very friendly.

Each item was very good, but my favorite was the meatballs.I'd highly recommend trying out this building. They have a nice patio for seating if you have a larger number of people with you.I'll definitely be back!
