Gen Korean BBQ House: what do users think?

Ray Liu: Ja! All you can eat K-BBQ!

K A: Great food, great staff, if a bit pricy. But still recommended.

Jess Catli II: In August 2016, I had the pleasure of dining at SJ Omogari Korean Restaurant, and it was truly a delightful experience. The restaurant impressed me with its authentic Korean cuisine and warm hospitality. From the moment I entered, the welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an enjoyable meal. EDVI CRUPER (blackoatl): We love coming here because of the friendly service and the amazing food! The spicy pork and the kimchi beef stew are some favorites, not too spicy but spicy enough that you get a nice kick out of it. The ribs are our favorites hands down. They're sweet and nicely grilled. Great food. Great service. Highly recommend.Went to eat 9/13/2023 and noticed that it is under new management "Big Spoon". Sad day.

Elisa Morales: My husband and I absolutely love this place! It's definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood, and their food is absolutely delicious! I started coming here since 2016 and I haven't found another place like it.Please try their spicy bulgogi it is scrumptious 😋

G Lee: I’m giving 5 stars based on a few factors. First is taste… the short ribs are incredible! Perfectly cooked and not too fatty.BBQ chicken is not quite as good. It’s a little dry but the sauce is yum. Both orders come with rice and all the pickled, sweet, and spicy appetizers. I love them all.A little pricey… $46 for just the two orders.

Janet Cattaneo: We loved this restaurant and will frequent it again. We parked in the back, and everyone had a good dish. Potstickets, #41 & #39. Loved it.

Steven Smith: Been looking for. Korean Restaurant that is not a hot-pot style. Wanted to try this place. Servings are big and you get the side dishes too.Recommended dishes …

Hanul Korean Food Corner: what do users think?

El T: Great Korean food! We ordered all the traditional: army stew, seafood pancake, and hot stone pot. They are all delicious.Just one minor “complaint”: we were the last few customers before their lunch break so we paid during not after, when the lady collected our signed check she immediately looked at it and frowned at it as if she was not satisfied with the tip. The food was about $60 plus tax it’s about $67 and we paid $76 in total which is about 15%. I mean it’s not over 20% so may not be considered as very generous but come on, at least wait until you are away from our table…

Ashoua Xiong: This restaurant has been changed to a place called Dan Bi, and the review is about Danbi. The food is really, really good. The meat is hands down the best part of the food. I got the kimchi fried rice, and it's been the best one I've ever tried.- certified fat Asian man

andrew: and it was very tasty with the banchan. The beef japchae is also very good. The owner is almost always at the counter to greet you and he’s very friendly. This place would be a hit with folks from the nearby neighborhoods and students from Santa Teresa High if they offered lunch specials.

Enjoy Seoul Restaurant: what do users think?

Brian Vo (vobrandon): It’s a great restaurant to eat at, serving a variety of delicious meals. We all ate sushi, rice, and more. I like the fast service and the friendliness of the waiters. I recommend the California sushi rolls. I would love to continue to eat here.

Thia Le: Located in the center of Vietnam Town, This is a small but cozy Restaurant with a welcoming outdoor and indoor seatings that served Korean food and Sushi. I was planning on coming here for Korean bbq but I was sure what I want so eventually I decided to go for the Sushi instead. They got full menu options that includes some Appetizers, Salads, Sushi, Sashimi, Main Entrees, Soups, Stews, Soft Tofu, and mixed Rice dishes. The food are a bit pricey compared to other places I’ve been to but it is Fresh and Delicious. You got to know what you wants to orders. I was a bit disappointed with my Sashimi for the price. I had better Sashimi w better price. I recommend other Japanese Restaurants if you want Sushi. However I will give it another try by ordering the Korean dishes since it is really close to my house. We’ll see lol😂

Goku Korean BBQ & Hot Pot: what do users think?

Allieya DePaolantonio: First time trying hot pot and it was actually pretty good. Everyone gets their own pot for hot pot. In the tablet you get what you want in terms of soup base, noodles, vegetables, meat, drinks. Then at the self serve they have sauces and some other things to add like jalapeno or cilantro. Pretty tasty. And the staff is attentive picking up dishes and filling water. Really nice service today. And even when we asked about vegan and dairy free options they seemed to be very knowledgeable right away.Dietary restrictions: Vegan broth upon asking. Knew dairy free options off the top of his head.

Hankki House: what do users think?

Kelly Song: delicious, good portion Korean food. staff were kind enough to offer more banchan while dining in there

Liz P.: This was our first visit here! While en route to Santa Teresa Golf Club, we stumbled upon Hankki House through Google.Having previously resided near Koreatown in LA and worked in Seoul, my standards for banchan are quite high. I was thrilled to find that theirs was exceptionally authentic and delightful.Though we both enjoyed the delicious food, we felt that we might have found greater value elsewhere. Typically, we opt for more upscale dining venues with alcohol offerings for our date nights. However, my Korean food craving led us here, given the limited South Bay options. Neither of us were up for the drive to Santa Clara or Sunnyvale for more Korean establishments. If you're seeking a quick fix for delectable Kalbi, Japchae, or Bulgogi, this local spot fits the bill.4.5 stars

Michael lincoln: One of my favorite places lately to get a plate

Tania Segovia: The taste was delicious, and I finished the entire bowl, so for me, it was perfect serving. I normally don't finish all my food because portion sizes are normally bigger. The staff was extremely kind. We did not notice that they closed at 2:30 pm and have a break before dinner, in which they reopen at 5pm. They took our order and did not say a word. We sat down, and they did not say a word. We were not approached until 30 min past closing time. We felt bad, but they were so kind. I appreciate that so much! With that said, be mindful of business hours to not inconvenience staff.I will definitely be back to try the tofu soups.

F D: One of the best Korean food in the Bay Area outside of LA Korea Town. Worth the wait

Dina Forouzandeh: Best Korean food I’ve ever had i go here all the timeDietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …

HoM Korean Kitchen: what do users think?

Raghunath Krishnan: Wow! What an amazing Korean food experience. I love Korean food and especially being a vegetarian, there are one or two Korean spots in south bay that I regularly go where they offer vegetarian and vegan choices. HoM Korean Kitchen is one of them. It's typically the Chipotle style of fill your bowl with your choices type of restaurant. You are offered with proteins like beef, pork, chicken, steak, vegetables and tofu. Choose from white or brown rice and salad for the base. Then add from the banchans like green beans, carrots, kimchi, cucumbers, etc. Banchans are sides that are cooked the Korean way. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, then you can ask for vegan kimchi instead of the regular. Lastly, choose from a variety of sauces. The menu is designed in such a way that it balances the choices of diverse set of people like meat lovers, salad style eaters, vegetarian and vegan. The price is very economical for the basic bowl and portion size is balanced. With delicious taste and customizable meal, my family has made this restaurant as one of our favorites.

Nini Chu: Authentic home-cooked Korean cuisineI ordered fish roe tofu hotpot and seafood pancakesThe seafood pancakes are filling and crispy

Vidar Holen: Korean restaurants are notoriously bad for vegetarians, but this one is a rare exception. There are 4-5 clearly clearly marked dishes made with alternative broth. First time I've ever been able to have a Korean dish that isn't a sad bibimbap!Vegetarian options: 4-5 clearly marked, varied vegetarian options made with alternative broth. This is extreme rare for a Korean restaurant.

Judy Margaret Chen: It’s a great AYCE Korean BBQ in the bay. We have had a terrific experience with our friends. Amazing food, wonderful BBQ atmosphere where you can be as loud as tourists can and nobody cares and great service from the staff. My personal favorite of the meat selection would be their marinated beef bulgogi. Very well seasoned! At the end the meal, we got complimentary ice cream cup free for everyone. I didn’t expect that. Just a small ice cream cup but it sure blissed my night.Parking: It’s quite difficult to find the parking lot in front of the restaurant because they’re limited. Better to go around the back.Kid-friendliness: There’s dishes that kids can enjoy

seung oh: excellent Korean food!

Merry Yen: Delicious tofu soup inside the H Mart food court. The soup comes out sizzling hot and you crack an egg into it.They make it to order and you can customize as you wish. I was able to get beef with clams. It also comes with 2 little containers of kimchee, one was spicy and one was not.Great spot to grab a quick lunch

Sam Lee: I liked the open kitchen i could see chefs cooking. It looks very clean, and chefs were using gloves. My favorite was hot stone bibimbap. Good portion. My new favorite spot. Weekends are busy, so I usually go during weekdays. My friends tried tofu soup and tofu noodle soup. It's great that you could choose the spicy level. Ask for side of broth if too spicy.
