Lissa Oros: I had no idea I put any stars down for RRR so I'm adding a review... Large outdoor arena. Smaller covered arena. Turn outs and round pens. Mix of English and Western. Close trailer parking. Also near civilization. Amenities are more on the rustic side but if you're a casual rider looking for a boarding spot near home, it's worth looking at to see if it's a fit for you.

Kathryn Hedges: Worth a drive up the hill to see hundreds of irises during the season! This is a farm, not a formal garden, so you'll see, hear, and smell horses and other livestock. The irises grow in rows on a hillside so expect to climb a bit. Irises are in bloom around April through May, depending on weather. They sell iris rhizomes in the fall when the plants are going dormant, and you order on the website.

She was a wonderful teacher in so many ways, never lost patience with the basic questions and always checking in with me , was really thorough in her teaching, made sure I had each step down, making it very easy to progress, even with limited sessions. She was flexible and really knowledgeable, I couldn't recommend her more highly and would never choose a riding school that wasn't focussed on horsemanship again. Leonne T.

Brandon Kessel: and we started a friendship, I could feel improvement every time I went and it was super fun. Although I wish we could ride the horses more, we got to have fun and chill around the horses. All the time I spent there, I was smiling. Next time I go, I hope I get to see Rafiki again.

David Hoffman: Something really magical about this place! They do riding lessons, horse boarding and there are some other animals that live there too. Chickens, donkeys, goats and sheep. Really friendly place to visit.

And fun people to enjoy riding with. I don’t know what I’m doing and feel comfortable that everyone here is rooting for me and my horse.

Maddy Cook: I can’t say enough good things about Whispering Hills! The horses are truly spoiled— nice stalls cleaned on a daily basis AND large pasture for day turnout. This barn has a mature and relaxed atmosphere that feels impossible to come by in the Bay Area. Everyone is friendly without being pushy; if you want to show up, take care of your horse, and leave, no one will judge you. if you want to find a group to ride together, there’s plenty of different disciplines, skill levels, and ages so you’re bound to find your people!

Karen, the owner/trainer was extremely patient with my daughter. She was so knowledgeable with horses. We learned a lot from her. This is such a gem hidden in the middle of Milpitas.
