Everyone should stop by - and a bonus, it’s free and there is free parking in the back! There are no specific tour times - if they aren’t with anyone else, they will provide you with a tour or you can wander on your own.

Hazlitt Krog: Adobe is an amazing building material. How many earthquakes has this building weathered without a serious problem?

Mindy Miller: I walk by often and say I'm going to go in one day. Today my timing was perfect. I walked in just as the tour was starting. Turned out the guide has a family history with the early explorers of San Jose and California. Such a rich history in my own backyard. Very enjoyable.

Rick Helin: Said to be one of the oldest brick buildings in California, the main house is attached to one of the last two remaining adobes in San Jose. The California Pioneers of Santa Clara County have beautifully transformed this historic structure into Willow Glen's very own California History Museum.

Joe G: and very worth it! The two docents on this Saturday were very nice and welcoming, and had a ton of information on the history of the Roberto-Suñol Adobe and the neighborhood. The interior is nicely restored and impressive for such an old building. The adobe itself is set up as an exhibit of how people lived back then. There are plenty of informative exhibit signs on the native Tamien population, Roberto Balermino, The Anza expedition, government, commerce, etc.. that will bring you up to date through history into today. The garden outside contains a large fig tree that provides cooling shade and a delicious fig smell right now. I was told it was the oldest fig tree in California, very impressive. You can wander around outside and see the outhouse and old farm machinery, and you can also sit on benches under the shade of a large pepper tree. It is very pleasant sitting here and relaxing in the garden. The house has air conditioning, and bathrooms. They have exhibits that the kids can touch as well as a stamp of Roberto Balermino's brand that kids

Katie Squire: Step into the past and learn more about the Valley of Heart's Delight that predates Silicon Valley. Homes, businesses, infrastructure like the firehouse, schoolhouse, and houses of worship all give the opportunity to appreciate the past. Cultural museums of many of the ethnic groups that helped to shape the community as well as historic artifacts are displayed throughout the park. If you come on a warm day make sure to stop by and visit O'Brien's Candy Store, the first place to serve ice cream west of Detroit. The park abounds with mature trees providing cooling shade, picnic areas, and giving you the ambiance of San Jose of the past. If it is running, take a ride on the trolley a precursor of today's light rail system. A wonderful place to visit for people of all ages.

Luis María Peralta Adobe: what do users think?

Patricia Lopez: I was delighted by the history of San Jose.

James Barton: This entire market should have a single review site. My review does not reflect the bar which is wonderful as all the bars here are. Unfortunately the operators of the venue really need to do a little more work. The bathrooms could definitely be cleaner as well as the outside when it gets busy. However the biggest problem with the current winds is dust in the plaza. I came here to see a band this weekend and the dust was so bad people were leaving and droves. Their decomposed granite has completely decomposed into dust. A little simple venue maintenance of removing this dusty old granite and replacing it with new decompose granite as well as a little dust mitigation would solve the problem. Right now with the high winds forget trying to eat your food outside unless you want it covered with granite dust. That being said I absolutely love this place the venue and the music they bring in.

Oscar Peralta: Wonderful place to have still standing. Oldest building in San jose. Wonderful history here. I hope it stands for another century at least. This new era needs to know how the past was built.

Alexander Soe: Historic

Abhishek Rajput: Luis Maria Peralta Adobe is a heritage sight situated in the city center of San Jose and is very close to San Pedro Market Sqaure. This place gives pure historic vibes while having a blend of modern and old era.As its located right among the city skyscrappers the view turns out impeccably superb. While the info boards narrate the story of history of the place, the Adobe itself speaks for the old times.

Kimberly Ann Graham: Located in the communal seating courtyard between buildings of the San Pedro Market. The Adobe was built in 1797 by Manuel Gonzalez, and Apache Indian. He was also the first resident and second mayor of the Pueblo of San Jose. It's used during the weekdays to educate local school children about the life of early residents. Open to the Public for designated events. Check their website in Maps to see what is on the schedule.

Savitri Harris -aka Kimberly: This place is excellent if you need to relax and have some time outside. It's a great place for family and children. There are opportunities to buy food and drinks if you get a little hungry. It's a great place to spend in the afternoon.

English Camp: what do users think?

Shaun Villafana: If you look at the photos—yes. It's true. This is where the triforce is. I've never seen it myself but this is a good hiking spot I used to go to and it makes sense there is the triforce here. It's the lost woods. There are deku shrubs. The master sword is here. Watch your step for Epona poopoo.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Price for adult entry Free …

Ksenia Postolnik: Deep Gulch trail to English camp was quite challenging and required significant effort to complete. However, the reward was worth it, as the stunning views along the way were breathtaking. I chose to go on a Sunday at 3:00pm and encountered only a handful of other hikers, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer a quieter and less crowded hiking experience, such as introverts.

Nikinite: Liked it. Excellent view, great history, and nice trails.

İbrahim Bekar: .The remains of the old mine dot do the justice to the mine's history which was the most efficient Mercury mine in its time. Enjoy your visit which would require around 3 hours of your day.

Steve S.: A nice place! Full of history feeling!

lupe camolinga: Family walks

Chip Li: Loved it, not many people on Sunday noon, if you take Deep Gulch trail then it is shady all the way so you won't feel the sun, but if you take Mine Hill Road then English Camp Trail then there's hardly any shade along the way- you'll feel more exhausted. Choose wisely. 1.5 hour loop trail for me.About the camp, you'll feel familiar if you are Red Dead Redemption fan...worth checking. Also ancient town and creek and fancy restaurant and beautiful houses nearby to check, worth the trip.

Nadiia Koroliak: Lovely place to walk around, though there are quite a lot of people on trails.

Diana Landeros: Wonderful👍!!!!!, I'll have to study the full story.I will return to see the two cemeteries that are further ahead 😉
