dukes8 dukes8: Support Systems Homes is an awesome facility to detox and or get treatment from drug or alcohol. The facility is clean and the staff is knowledgeable in their respected fields. Today 4/6/23 I am clean and sober and get to restart my life fresh.
Francisco Melchor ibarra: My experience in SSH was the best thing ever happen, had the opportunity to know more about my self, self love , self care and work on my fears and how to deal with them without the feeling of need be under the influence
David Abila: Since joining this program I was scared to enter and nervous but as soon as I started to settle in I became very comfortable and as days pass with the groups I got so much knowledge out of each group and staff is wonderful and food is great I highly recommend this for anyone that needs treatment.
martin contreras: I came in for a 37 day treatment. Staff was great. I felt safe and everyone made me feel at home. I completed the 7 day detox and the 30 day program. They helped me transition to an SLE and on my way to recovery.
Sergio Castaneda: Im currently looking for a treatment center how long to get it and what is the longest my stay can be?
Rosemaryj: Support systems Was very helpful in my recovery I can honestly say that they saved my life And gave me the tools to take home with me to prevent a relapse. The staff was very helpful and kind. The facility was clean and comfortable and I felt safe. It was well organized if I had any questions or issues they were taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place to friends or family.
Bernard Mitchell: My experience was great. Learned about recovery and myself. Would recommend this program to anyone!BM
Amber Berry: Going in, I was completely frightened. It's my first time at a rehab and I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Staff immediately made feel at home and assured me that I was in the right place. Turns out they were right. I can't describe how much I enjoyed staying here and working on recovery. I really needed to sit down and shut up and listen! I highly recommend coming here, even if it's just for detox. We all deserve a chance.
AoPeso: It was an amazing experience, I love my counselor Judy, she teaches recovery very well. Also the counseling staff, Donna, Peggy, Coach, Marcy and Scotty made my stay here comfortable. It felt like they cared a lot about me and the whole group here. Jeff is an asset to this company he really cares about the clients individually and takes care of anything that is needed. The only bad thing is Racheal is always in a mood and very unprofessional. The food here is good but sometimes she doesn't know how to talk to people.
Frank Stadler: I would refer this program to anyone it was very helpful towards me and my recovery. I learned a lot of tools from the staff and the counselors and everyone is friendly here.
david trotter: Hello this is David I just got out of support systems home here on Morrison Street it was a big help with my recoveryI learned a lot of good tools that I can use in the future to help me in my recovery. If your serious about recovery this is a good place to come.
Philip Olivas: This was my first time in treatment and I can say with all honestly that SSH saved my life. If I didn’t check into treatment when I did, I’d surely be dead. I spent well over a decade in active addiction and never thought I’d get sober. I now have the tools and information to stay on the good path and live my life happy and sober.
Jay Jackson: This place is the best there is and the food is the best in the world. Every one here makes you feel comfortable and all the staff have experienced the same problems. In some way or another they're all in treatment. I've learned a lot of knowledge being her and self awareness.
Star Davis: Hi my name is Regina D. I just wanna say thank you very much for all the support and encouraging words remember 1 day at a time if you need a bed to just rest it's their nice and comfy and shootout to the chief Stephanie you won't go hungry I truly love the ssh house
Tay Don: I really recommend that anyone that wants to go into recovery to come to support systems home! They have the BEST staff and counselors, period! Staff was extremely professional cared to all my needs. I have learned different release skills and communication skill that have helped to not stuff my feelings. I would recommend this program who struggling with there addiction.
Dylan Phillips: Staff at this facility have been essential in my recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. I have been to many other rehab facilities and haven't experienced this level of support anywhere else. This community of addicts in recovery helping each other stay clean is a safe haven for the lost and dejected. I leave here with a strong support system and a home to go to with a sister program to strengthen my recovery.
Esequiel Rodriguez: When i got there got there got to meet a very supportive group of people then later on become friends and the staff there really helped me out my first couple days there and showed me that being sober aint all that bad lol glad i choose Morrison for my first time in rehab

Gwendolyn Erdosh: Amazing!
Emily Morgan: Coming to residential treatment, I assumed that rehab was going to be cold and clinical. My experience was anything but! New Life has created a culture of family and a "homey-ness" that encourages healing and vulnerability while maintaining a safe, professional environment. The staff and counselors are awesome - I'm forever grateful for New Life Recovery Center!
Kevin Nguyen: Rehab does not guarantee anything, but for our family, the experience at New Life has been incredibly healing. We’re hopeful that after a 30day stay, our loved one has better tools to navigate the tough road towards sobriety. It is by no means a vacation and the first few days will be incredibly difficult. But the co-living situation is more homey than institutional; the staff are kind and professional; and the family group sessions on the weekends helped us—the loved ones who have to pick up the pieces—feel not alone.I would recommend this place to anyone grappling with the awful disease of addiction.
Samantha Smith: I attended New Life Recovery in San Jose with a family member who was struggling with addiction. They host weekly meetings on Saturdays just for the families for an hour. These meeting are so important. You learn about recovery and discuss the same weekly topics as your loved one, which is great because addiction also affects us as family members. You’ll leave every meeting with much more insight on how to best navigate the situation. Highly recommend this place!
Isiah Nash: This place changed my life for the better and will change yours if you give it a chance
Gustavo Gonzalez: Everyone here is top tier, from the staff to the food. I would highly recommend anyone seeking help to give them a call. 5 stars
D Mo: Going into and through recovery is a stressful and very vulnerable feeling. However, this facility is AMAZING!!! Every step through the program felt very catered to my individual needs and goals. Janet in the main office is really thorough and such a caring person. She made the initial paperwork process simple and easy to understand. She even reached out multiple times to personally check-in to see how everything was going. The intake staff were also friendly and welcoming. The counselors were always there for me whenever I had a question or concern. They didn't just give me a scripted cheap answer, but they made me feel like they really care, and they do. They are all so passionate about what they do and it really shows. Amazing people and they really know what they are doing!!!
Camille Cruz: New Life Recovery has given me the tools to be able to start my new life. Everyone from the intake process to the councelers are dedicated people who are passionate about what they do. The facilities provided a safe and comfortable environment for me to focus on my recovery. If you or any of your loved ones struggle with addiction, New Life Recovery Center if an amazing program to help you.
Goose Power: This facility has provided me one of the greatest experiences of my life. If it wasn't for New Life I wouldn't have had a chance for a better life. The staff is very proffesional and friendly, the facility is clean and provides an at home feeling, and best of all they provide all the resources needed to be the best self you can be.
Marty: Fantastic facility with excellent staff, counselors, chef and support during & after treatment.
Jodi Amark: My time at New Life changed my life. The staff the counselors the chef everything was top notch. I learned so much I can't help but to share my experience with everyone. If you or someone you know needs help this is where you should go. I will always be grateful for all of the wonderful people there.
Jacob Kirkendall: This was not my first Rehab but will be my last because of their excellent behavior modification program. Was not just about stopping the drugs and alcohol but about improving my behavior and maintaining a new lifestyle. It has been 5 years and six months and still feeling strong in my recovery. So thankful for the staff and the food is worth it in itself.
Janet Shibamoto Smith: Families who watch a loved one struggle as their life spirals out of control often have no idea where to turn to help their loved one regain sobriety, stability, or even basic safety. They could not do better than to look to New Life Recovery. As a family member of a client, I can only speak to the effectiveness of their programs for the client as an outside observer, but the changes I have seen in my own family member – as well as the progressive changes I have seen in other clients during the weekly group family meetings – are truly impressive and hopeful. Other reviews speak more directly about this from the perspective of the client. But what I would like to focus on is the truly amazing benefits to family members that New Life offers. These include the weekly family meetings, where a wide range of emotional orientational, interactional, and practical life issues are addressed, first, in a group setting with other families, then together with the clients. These meetings are invaluable for improving families’ ability to interact with their family member in productive ways and in ways that support the health of all parties. But besides this, the communication with the facility, from the owner and administrative office staff to the on-site counselors made it clear to us how very engaged everyone at New Life is with their clients and how much expertise New Life offers to clients who have not only their illness but, in many cases, also life-rebuilding issues to address. That is invaluable, not only to the clients at New Life, but also an enormous relief to their families, who often do not know where to turn to help their loved ones recuperate the aspects of their life, from work and housing to their very identity, that may have been lost as they struggled with their illness. My life – along with that of the family member who was a client at New Life – has been informed, supported, and transformed by the New Life experience.
Cadence Railsback: New Life Recovery Center is an amazing facility where the staff is knowledgeable and invested. These people truly have the clients best interest in mind. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend here.
V M: Going to New Life Recovery was life changing experience for me. I stayed there for 30 days inpatient. The staff and management are amazing and very helpful. Food is amazing. Their schedule is top of the mark with varieties of education, fun activities, and games. It feels more like home than a treatment center. All counselors are very knowledgeable and supportive. They still support you even after you are out of treatment. They still pickup my calls if I need help with something which is really great. Before I went there everything in my life was falling apart. But now I'm living very healthy life where my life is more balanced and I can deal with all kinds of stress and problems without taking any substance. If you really need help being sober, I recommend this place is definitely to go to.
Danielle Warren: I spent 65 days at NLRC from Oct 2022 to Dec 2022, and it was one of the best decisions of my life. The staff there were amazing, helpful and so caring. I came in broken, lost and confused about myself and my life. I left here with a new sense of direction, new profound life as a recovery addict, and a deeper sense of who I am. This place saved my life. And I would highly recommend anyone that’s struggling with any type of substances use to come here and reform your life. This is the place to be. And I truly miss the staff and my counselor, as they’ve made me feel apart of the community and truly wanted to see me succeed as a person who’s a recovery addict.
Philip L: I never thought I could live a life without drugs and alcohol; New Life staff taught me how and showed me I was more than capable. Closing in on 5 years of sobriety, I’ve only become more appreciative and grateful for the opportunities New Life has granted me.
Mitchell Ranalli: I was a client here in mid 2018. I was nearing the end of my life due to using hard drugs and alcohol for everyday for over 8 years. I was greeted with a smile, and kindness from the start, even when i didn't feel deserving of it. The clinical director and counseling staff and all of the cd techs were instrumental in showing me a new way to live, a "New Life" if you will. The food was great, the area is nice, and the relationships i made in treatment are still strong today. If you are tired of your current life, are willing to change your perspective, and have the chance to come here, take advantage of it. I followed directions and suggestions when i came here, and my life got better. It's Very Simple. After residential, I completed the New Life IOP outpatient program, so i could have some accountability after i left residential. All parts of New Life Recovery Centers Helped me get a life i couldn't have achieved if i tried on my own. What are you waiting for?
Amy Dumo: Hi my name is Amy D, and I'm an alcoholic. I'm 4 years sober thanks to my start here, and working my butt off everyday. You got to want sobriety. If you want it, then this is the place to get the ball rolling. They took good care of me here and they know how to handle everyone's kind of situation. They do a good job on the food and always had really good activities for us to do. Can't recommend this place enough. Thankyou to everyone working here, you guys are amazing.👌🙌 And good luck to whoever is reading this. Things will get rough but always remember, One day at a time.
