Teske's Germania: what do users think?

DATIAN FENG: I seldom go to san Jose. Last Saturday, my friend said we would go there to drink beer, so we went to this shop. I was amazed by the ambience, the service and the food, especially the beer. The decoration and furnishings of the house are the kind of old furniture with a sense of time. A liter of beer is really good for me to drink. And his signature German dish,Roast pork knuckle and sausage, is the best I've had in the Bay Area. The service was also very warm and friendly.I already want to move my family to live nearby.

Kathleen Gaffney: Daniella was great and the jàger schnitzel was fantastic!

AJ Frankel: This place is the real damn deal. Impeccable German beer and schnapps/liqueur selection. Kegs were super fresh. Proper glassware - all that stuff. I’ve been to Germany and to German restaurants/bars all over the US, and this place is top notch. A haven in the city. Had the leiberkäse plate. This is a test dish for any German place and it was as good as I have had anywhere including Bavaria. Prost!

Dave Jones (Canada Dave): Pretty good food overall. Sauerbroten was a little dry. Schnitzels were pretty good. Spatzle and potato salad were very good. Tomato and cucumber salad was delicious. Beer, of course, was excellent.Service was great. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

Ludwig's German Table: what do users think?

jennie tran: was great. We will have to try this place again.

Huy Nguyen: The family organized a birthday celebration here that included about 11 of us. We were able to receive a long table outdoors and ordered our stuff family style, sans the beers of course. The food was amazing, the staff attentive and friendly, and the background music was killer. It was not what as expected a German hofbrau, but a lot of retro 80s music that were not completely popular but brought back a ton of nostalgia.Pro tip: order the larger size of the bier steins vs the smaller pint-sized steins.Order all the stuff. If you can’t finish them, take em home. You have to try everything! Also, beware of the residents in the building across the street. The residents there are shady as heck due to the building being a Section 8 housing that houses a lot of the city’s mentally ill. They are seen roaming outside on the streets in front of the restaurant at times. Best to not make eye contact or give while they’re panhandling.

Maria Maneh: Caitlyn was great!

Adam Knight: What a cool place with really friendly service, excellent German food, and some tasty German beers. If you're looking for a wide beer selection, might not be the best place but I was pleased with the dunkel I ordered.Jager schnitzel with mushroom sauce and spatzle was good...would have liked a bit of spice to it. Sausage bites were a good pastry-wrapped starter.

Ricky Rieckenberg: Had the Jager schnitzel and a cherry cider, they went really well together. The mushroom sauce was just about perfect. Followed up with an apple strudel for dessert. It was so much food and so good. The waiter, Anders I believe, was very friendly and came by frequently to check on everyone. Plenty of outdoor seating. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Natsuko Konishi: . Their patio area is a good time on a nice weather day! 🌞🍺

AJ Baxter: 10 out of 5 stars. I lived in Germany and found their Jagerschnitzel to be amazingly authentic. Their cucumber salad was also great. Wine sprites a delight. The atmosphere is casual, like a German wine fest. Looking forward to attending an activity soon!Recommended dishes Jägerschnitzel with Mushoomsauce …

Pavel Savva: Very nice German beer garden.

Nate Slattery: The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and they had my favorite German beer on tap.We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.
