I called Penguin Fireplace and explained them the problem to check if they can send a technician to fix this issue. Charles mentioned that most likely replacing the transformer should solve the issue and said that it is an easy do it yourself project. He sent us a link to the part number that we would need. Very happy with the support provided by him.

I have never got that kind of awesome experience from anyone. When we need any further fireplace help, we will be calling them without a second thought. Highly recommend them.

I highly recommend to anyone looking for a Class Act business!Edited 2020:I hired Penguin again to do a tear out and replace in a new house I purchased last year. Again, they were amazing with the artistry of the mantel work. I am SO HAPPY with the end result.They also redid a THIRD fireplace for me with a totally different look and feel to it. I honestly don't think there is anything they can't do. They solve problems on the spot and are true professionals with advice and suggestions.

Andrew Brogdon: Went to this place a few years ago and put down a deposit on a pair of lights. Afterward, we had a change of heart and asked that they put a hold on the order while we reconsidered. Two years later, we realized that neither of us had gone back to complete the order one way or another. My wife returned to the shop today, they still had our deposit on file, and we'll have our new fixture in about a week!

Tony Marek: Great selection and even better staff. If you don't find what you want in their showroom, they will consult with you and guide you through their huge library of vendor catalogs. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to deal with. Unless you only need a simple off-the-shelf fixture, dealing with Wright is infinitely better than trying to deal with a big box store to figure out your options for a serious project.

We’re very happy with the outcome. We’ll be back with customs lighting needs in the future. He was patient and helpful throughout. Anthony was also punctual and dependable. There were so many steps I didn't realize I needed to take as far as the demo, asbestos removal, instructions for the stone fabricators, choosing the medium for the fireplace, etc. Anthony was there every step of the way. He made this an enjoyable experience. We love to sit by the fireplace every morning with coffee and relax. The new insert puts out a lot of heat. So happy with the way our new fireplace turned out thanks to Wright Lighting and Fireside.

We recently completed a 300 sq. ft. outdoor kitchen with a complete line of over 8 Twin Eagles appliances. Ember West was fantastic in helping us understand the benefits of the different products, helped configure the layout, and even did multiple test fitments and site visits to make sure everything was done correctly. We were so impressed that we had Ember West design and supply our living room fireplace insert. Again, they visited the site a couple times to collaborate with our contractor and then provided a flawless installation. Amy Zhang: Their technicians are very professional. The installation of my gas fireplace was smooth. They came twice. First time to install the fireplace and the pipes during the framing phase. The second time was final setup and cleanup. I love their service. The after sale service is also really good. The fireplace had some small ignition issue recently, they responded quickly and came twice to fix the issue. They were very patient and nice during the whole process. The technician even discovered a small issue of the ceramic log and replaced it for me, which I never noticed. I highly recommend this shop!

Jeremy Terrell: Ryan was very knowledgeable with any questions I had. Took his time with us and was able to complete the project on time and within the budget estimate he provided. Will definitely call him back in the future for any maintenance.
Yuan Yuan: I just got new fireplace gas insert installed by them. And I am really really happy with the result! The price is expensive but fair. The whole process from order fireplace, to schedule installation, to installation day is very smooth. They are nice and knowledgeable and most importantly care about what you want and need instead of trying to sell you the more expensive one. On the installation day, it only took them 3hr to finish everything, very impressive. They didn't put the old chimney cap on to hide the new one as discussed. After complaint, they scheduled another installation to put it back on very quickly without extra charge. Very very good experience with them.

Over the years I have had other service providers to service/repair my gas fireplace and it was expensive and after a few months realized they never fixed the problem. Very frustrating. Ryan came out analyzed the issue and repaired it in thirty minutes. Very reasonably priced. Will use them from know on. Very hard to find service like this today. Especially one that works Sunday.

The valve died and after some discussions with Ryan he came up with a solution that was fantastic. He's excellent to work with.I think fireplaces are something you must see and feel before buying and their showroom is a great place for this. If you are considering a gas fireplace - don't wait - they are soooo soothing and warm!The Intimate Flame has a good selection of manufacturers to choose from and offers pretty much anything to do with fireplaces. Their pricing is fair and their expertise is tops.

He was very thorough and friendly: he cleaned and vacuumed everything, brushed out corrosion from the battery compartment, cleaned the glass, cleaned the fan, and even added new embers. The fire looks better than when it was new. Reasonably price to boot. I will be calling on Ryan for routine maintenance at regular intervals. Thanks for a great job.
