Angelo Caguia: Great people and friendly 👏 staff.Very good filipino food in here.I highly recommend to go in here.

Char P.: Stopped by here on a Saturday morning while waiting for my tattoo appointment. They have a lot of options for combinations. The garlic rice is really good. I came in with a craving for corned beef and longanisa already so it was pretty much a done deal for me. It all tasted really great! The staff are really really nice and very accommodating. They also have a lot of suggestions if you don't know what you want. They have a few tables and chairs if you choose to eat there. They also have a few other Filipino snacks and popular Filipino condiments and sauces as well. Definitely worth stopping by if you have a craving for some Filipino foods. I'd definitely come back when I come back to the Bay Area!

Cameron T. Moore: Lechon and adobo 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Awesome spot for takeout lunch

K A: Nice little Filipino store and cafeteria style take-out restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is pretty good. You can also buy pantry staples. I even found Muhlach ensaymada from the Philippines! That find made me happy. It's frozen but all it takes is 20 seconds in the microwave. They also have silogs made to order, which is great. IYKYK

Angelo Caguia: I love always to go in here if I'm craving for pilipino food. You can buy a lot in hereGreat people as well.Nice and friendly.

Anthony Lee: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gabrielle's Food Market shortly after they opened for the day, and I must say, it was quite an enjoyable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the wide variety of food options available, both packaged and prepared. The store had an extensive selection of packaged goods, ranging from imported snacks to locally sourced products. It was a delight to explore the shelves and discover unique items that I hadn't come across elsewhere. Whether you're looking for pantry staples or special treats, Gabrielle's Food Market seemed to have it all. What really stood out during my visit was the selection of freshly prepared foods and cooked dishes. The sight of all those delectable options made it a tough decision to settle on what to order. Since I was there for a special occasion, I decided to order a party tray of turon, a Filipino delicacy that I absolutely adore. The service I received was exceptional. The staff was not only efficient but also very friendly. They were quick to assist me in placing my order and made sure I didn't have to wait long. Their warmth and eagerness to help customers were truly noteworthy. The party tray of turon I ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. It was the highlight of the gathering I had planned, and my guests couldn't stop raving about the flavors and the quality of the turon. In summary, my experience at Gabrielle's Food Market was a pleasant one. The diverse range of packaged and prepared foods, along with the fast and friendly service, left a lasting impression. Whether you're seeking a quick lunch, special event catering, or just a unique grocery shopping experience, Gabrielle's Food Market is a fantastic option to explore. I will definitely be returning to try more of their offerings in the future.

Zach Sarsoza: Grabbed lunch here and it was a great experience.I'm sure it's because they didn't have as many guests as usual, but they managed to serve up our food in less than 20 mins for 10 people.I thought it was pricey at first until they gave us these massive portions for the meals.Highly reccomend. They have great filipino food and cater to vegetarians.

John Paul Macaya: Love this place but every time I go it’s always closed. 3 times already

Ivan Baradi: Wow! This place really looks nice inside. I saw their restaurant name sign outside and seems like they haven’t changed it since they opened, which is a bout a decade ago. Anyways, you can see that there are plenty of decorations inside and it’s mostly about sports. It also gives you a good vibe of living in the Philippines since the environment of that place tends to be like.Let’s talk about the food. I am quite impressed that they serve us food in more cultural plates with a leaf sticking at the top. The food is also delicious and authentic. Really great choice of seasonings especially on the garlic rice and pork sisig! No wonder this place is so popular especially on Yelp. It’s also great that they leave utensils out there unlike most restaurants where you have to ask them for extra. Honestly wish that they have more individual plates options in the menu, but that’s fine. I came here for breakfast and popularity of it anyways!

Sarah Park: Thank God Senor Sisig has come to Mountain View! Their signature burrito is my go-to celebration food if I finish a project, and the spicier you order, the more chopped jalapenos they add, yum!

Leah Huang: , though I wish I could sub steamed for adobo rice

Kyla McCarthy: Great service, food is amazing. I had the señor sisig burrito and tacos. The interior is small but efficient. There is also a small parking lot. I’ll definitely be back.

Mike Cabot: I've been very pleased with Local Kitchens' service and online ordering. Plus, Señor Sisig's food is absolutely delicious!

Elizabeth Reinhardt: I love that I can get Senor Sisig in Mountain View! It is so good and I love literally everything on the menu! The service is fast and the people are nice!

Trudy Love: I have never tried filipino food before and Senor sisig was the perfect introduction! Everything was so good! I was especially impressed with the tofu steamed rice the flavors and texture of the tofu was great!

Dylan James Love: Tried the sisig steamed rice and added and egg today! The egg was cooked perfectly and the combo was 10/10! Pick up was fast and easy!

Catalina Vanslyke: Had a Sisig cali Burrito today for the first time and it far exceeded my expectations! It was so good, the meat had so much flavor, and adding an egg was a great touch! Not sure how they do this but each bite was perfectly balanced!

Ali Schmalzel: I've gotten their California Burrito a few times now and it always tastes amazing! I highly recommend Local Kitchens, especially if ordering food for several people who want different things.

Daniel Olshansky: An unexpected gem in the heart of Berkley. I got the vegan chicken California burrito with eggs and plan to come back soon!

Andrew Jung: Senor! You are indeed The Sir. The people’s provider of pork. The faithful friend of flavor. From your steamed rice with pork, so simple, and so elegant, to your wild french fry stuffed Tocino burrito, you have fed me multiple times and have wowed me without fail. See you soon, Senor.

Kasey Hayano: I love coming up to Mountain View for their killer Sunday farmer's market and noticed the Senor Sisig logo from a flyer I got. I LOVE SENOR SISIG FROM SF and had to go check it out. The tosilog tasted just like I remember and that vinegar side makes it 11/10.

Shalini: I was delighted to see Senor Sisig in Mountain View as it used to be a quick go-to office lunch spot for me in SF. This of course back in the day when we used to go to work- distant memory. The California Sisig with Tofu was fabulous as always. It’s not heavily salsa’d. Love the idea of putting in French fries in the burrito. I had also ordered Ube Horchata as it looked interesting but that did not get delivered weirdly. It only means I’ll have to order again from there which is not such a bad thing :D

Amatoxin Edogawa: , and they were patient and friendly, letting us feed our kid before ordering with no pressure at all. Staff was super friendly. We ordered the combo 1 & 7.Combo 1: The pork belly was nice and crisp with a tasty dipping sauce, the cucumber salad was just right, and the lumpia was amazing! The garlic rice was very garlicky and the green tamarin soup was delicious

David Quan: .Go check it out!

Arlene Bulatao: The menu was overwhelming. Seems like you want to order everything on the menu, but the owner/cook suggested the bilao where we can choose 2, 3, and 4 different types of meat with rice, 2 eggs, and salad. It was the best choice we made. We're able to taste 6 different types of meat on the menu. We will definitely go back with the family. There's more good food to try. The owner/cook is so nice and friendly. He took care of us.

Arthur T: Soup was super sour and piping hot. Very good. The pork belly was crispy and melted in my mouth. Garlic rice was fine. Scoop of ice cream was really tasty, since I'm lactose intolerant, it was good to have an ice cream to finish off the meal that wasn't too sweet. You can't pick, so it is whatever they have that day. I believe mine was a rocky road.Karan was serving us and cooking as well, hopping back and forth. He was friendly and attentive. There is an added 4% cost of living allowance added to each bill.Large parking lot with pretty tight spaces.Excited to be a regular here!

Y&N: A la Carte was tasty

Van Tranquilly: This Filipino restaurant is a hidden gem! The service here is exceptional; the staff genuinely care about your dining experience and go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. Now, let's talk about the food - it's a culinary journey through the Philippines. The flavors are authentic and transport you to the streets of Manila. The ambiance is cozy and rustic, with beautiful Filipino decor that adds to the overall charm. A must-visit for anyone looking for an incredible Filipino dining experience!

Cisco L: Was craving some home cooking after a soccer game and found Toppings Tree. The miki bihon pancit and the sinigang with fish was on point. However, the bbq chicken lacked flavor but the side of archara was delicious.Dining in is available and they have all the covid precaution signs posted but it's not being enforced.A older gentleman was in line waiting for his order without a mask and another customer entered with her mask on her chin. Anyway, we just waited patiently for our order outside. There's plenty of parking on the st and there's a small lot across the street too. Also, Take out only M-W, Dine in- Thursday -Sun

Isla Restaurant: what do users think?

Teresa Wood: When I'm craving for great-tasting Filipino food, like on my birthday, we would make the rush hour traffic on I-880 to go to Isla restaurant. We had the Sulit ala Carte #3 plus an order of pork sisig. The Sulit ala Carte combo menus have about 6 dishes and unlimited rice, a soup, and may come with 3 sodas and dessert, depending on which combo package you choose. More than enough food, you'll end up taking some home. It's a homey atmosphere, lots of chatter like you would at a typical family lunch or dinner when there are plenty of people around plenty of food - for me, it is not noise! The servers are friendly, and they check on you often, with a smile always! We went on a Tuesday night, no need for reservations. But I bet you would on a weekend if you're celebrating something big with loads of relatives and friends!Parking: Parking is not a problem.Kid-friendliness: They love kids.

Joe Maravillas: We really enjoyed the food here. The only downside is there were only 2 of us and there were so many dishes we wanted to order! The food we ordered was delicious. Garlic fried rice, crispy pata, chicken tinola, and fried bangus were all delicious. The sauces in the side were key to the flavor too. We had lots of leftovers too. The servers were friendly and accommodating to my wife's allergies. It's kind of a loud place since there so many of us Filipinos there but it does make it lively! There's a bell to ring at the exit if you leave satisfied. Needless to say there was a lot of bell ringing!

Jaymar Simon: We went to this family style Filipino restaurant to celebrate a graduation. In addition to the delicious Filipino food, we had the unique Kamayan experience, which is traditional eating with our hands. My autistic son had trouble at first but was flexible enough to try it out, especially since he had gloves to eat with. He really enjoyed eating the rice and pork tocino.

io media: Large Philippine cuisine restaurant with authentic tasting recipes for families and groups served in woven bilao platters and metal palayoks. Favourites like kare kare peanut butter stew, laing, sisig, palabok noodles, meats and seafoods can be shared. Leftovers can be taken home in containers. Fast efficient service from nice staff. Ring the hanging bell at exit to show appreciation. With over a million Filipinos in California, a large standalone restaurant can be a source of pride.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables in dishes can be eaten like pinakbet, pancit, laing with rice, and halo halo dessertWheelchair accessibility: Our disabled mother in a wheelchair can easily sit on the same table, just by removing a chair in place.

lil pickle: .Lastly, although it is a family restaurant, it's really not the best place to bring babies and toddlers. It's super loud and very overstimulating for them.Overall, great filipino comfort food, but maybe try to go when it's not as busy or order take out!

Goldilocks Bakeshop: what do users think?

Daniel Sicotte: Goldilocks has chicken chop-suey every Wednesday & Weekends. It's sooooo good! It has cut boneless chicken, qual eggs, baby corn, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, onions, cabbage, green beans, Zucchini, chaote squash, and more! Also love so many other things they have their, like the tocino, longaniza, bistek, adobo, Pancit, etc! Highly recommend. But they need to create a different way to order, the whole ordering process needs an overhaul. So many people want to eat there at lunch but can't, because it takes so long to order sometimes. But the food is really good and makes up for the long ordering times.

A P Y: Actually, the customer was already in front but still talking.Anyways about the food, the 3 I ordered are ok, hubby is happy with the lechon paksiw, I don't type too much. I liked the bopis and dinigua. Not in picture was the brownies, a bit sweet and dry.Of course I will be back. Manila, Manila, I keep coming back to Manila, Manila coming home.😅

Kroatoan Eight-Four: Bakery cashier slot is always empty. You have to queue with other people buying Pinoy ulam. I always buy 3-6 cake rolls plus polvoron and the store has no shopping basket. Imagine the hassle of balancing everything by your chest and holding down with your chin. The staffs see me but they don't seem to care. It just so happen to be Goldilock's so, no choice but to come back always despite the gross lack of empathy, customer service and customer respect.

Lainaboo: Super nice staff. My family and I have been going here for well over 20 yrs. Sam has always treated us like family and has been so generous and humble. Increased prices are understandable given what has been going on with the economy,so not sure why people have been so sour. It takes a lot to run a restaurant guys! Don't expect 3 star Michelin food quality if youre here. Sam cooks home style filipino comfort food. Food is similar to my mom's cooking style so I have minimal complaints.will come again!

It was fantastic even though I knew it would be a bit on the greasy side. Staff is very friendly and made you feel like family. It was lunch time and the place is well known by Filipinos working and living in the area. Great place to have Filipino food!

Ivan Baradi: This place actually tastes like home! Went here for the first time and breakfast is really good. It's usually what my dad makes. Breakfast silogs are made for ready meaning that they prepare them and place them at the counter. It is also a very small place where they sell snacks with limited amount of seatings here. I don't think many people come here for breakfast but rather for lunch I think. It's my first time here and so I never tried other Filipino food here yet.Based on what I saw from the reviews, the food looks authentic and they probably make good BBQ. Maybe, I should try theirs along with other dishes to see if they matches our Filipino food here at home!

Sticks N. Stems: Recommended dishes Adobo, Pork Adobo

Sara Osheim: I've been a few times and have never been disappointed. For me, the Pork Sinigang is the star of the show, but both the chicken/pork adobo are savory and come in a thick sort of gravy. It's good to note their abobo meat does have bones, which adds lots of flavor, but can be a lot of work to pick through. Excited to live near this gem ♥️

Egirl Kalamanani: Chicken was light and crispy. Not oily like the other popular Filipino chicken place that we all know. The halo halo had great presentation but didn't have enough of the fun yummies I expected. This is mommy's favorite childhood restaurant from the Philippines. The food was fine. I liked that it wasn't salty. I liked the lumpia presentation in an open wrapper. Garlic rice was nicely flavored, but could have used more garlic. I'll come back next time in town to try more chicken.Dietary restrictions: I love Filipino food but due to new allergies to sesame I can't guarantee I can eat here safely. Staff isn't well versed in allergy knowledge. Language was a barrier with the server.

Sonny Natividad: . This Max’s now still has the same tasting chicken I remember from my childhood years. Delish. Simple fare but I will travel long distances to eat at Max’s, I live over an hour away. I walk in, same ambience, same decor and same delicious food as I remember. Wait staff is wholly Filipinos from the homeland. And as it is with Filipinos everywhere, warm, friendly, caring and respectful. I only wish they’d stick up on their wine inventory. I had to drink beer. I love Max’s Fried Chicken and I hope they go on to my children’s generation.

Nicholas Barnes: Food: 5/5

Ivan Baradi: Max’s Restaurant is one of the popular Filipino restaurants, where people can get the full experience in eating different varieties of Filipino food. Its famous food, Max’s Fried Chicken, really gives a nice taste especially when it comes with fries. The Sisig and Sinigang also taste nice and fresh.I highly recommend this place for people who are new to Filipino food to get the experience of what dishes are usually served in Filipino households.

Papi Will's Journey: I was craving for Filipino Dish and badly craving and ran late that night. Hoping that I could still catch up. Thanks to these ladies on the front desk who accommodated me so well and did some upsell to me, the famous Halo-Halo! 🤗So, I ordered Kare-kare and Sisig and of course with rice. 🤗Keep it up Kababayans. Our passion at work is truly admirable.Parking: It's Seafood City, so you get parking spot easily.
