    Business: Non-profit organic farm located in downtown San Jose, California. Our mission is to create a sustainable, local food system that builds community, improve access to healthy foods, and teaches residents to cultivate their own fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

    Food is a fundamental part of everyday life and we believe it should be grown and harvested where we live. In October 2013, Garden to Table Silicon Valley installed 2,500 square feet of raised beds to develop Taylor Street Farm. We aim to educate people how to grow their own food and empower them to take control of their food system. We are a group of passionate individuals striving to create the world we wish for ourselves, our families, and our community. We love what we do, together, and hope you will join us in our mission.

    Supriya Reddy: This is a best place to go with entire family and enjoy gardening. We learnt about planting seeds and replanting the plants. It's open only on three days a week. Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. We learnt that egg shells will be integrated into chicken feed to increase the calcium in chickens. We can harvest some of the veggies at the end of our time. Their workshops are fun to attend.
