Heidi Kolden: I love visiting both stores, but, I went recently, and found some lovely fabric for several dresses that I need to make very soon.If you find something you like, get it, as there might not be more of it later. You can find some really wonderful high end fabrics, and the cost is so reasonable. It is worth the drive for me, but I am glad they are such a distance, because it is so dangerous! You can find satin, stretch, cotton, shantung, lace, prints and solids, and you can also get lace trims, buttons, fabric flowers for decorations, and a whole bunch of other sewing related things.They are all so kind and the poor ladies are running around the store helping customers, but they are so friendly and helpful. This has to be one of my absolute favorite places to get fabric.From 6 years ago...There are rolls and rolls of fabric, from the most simplest of cotton muslin to some absolutely stunning beaded overlay.It is actually two stores, one across the parking lot from each other.If you are looking for an amazing bargain, and some absolutely fabulous fabric, and you don't have time to head to the LA garment district, go here!It is so worth the drive!

Jennifer Kershaw: Okay, I have been shopping here for more than twenty years. They have a huge selection and the prices are more than reasonable, but as others have said, weekends are busy and service is questionable. Bring someone with you that speaks Vietnamese or Chinese and itâll be easier for you. And yes, as others have also said, it isnât the cleanest place. I bring tissues in with me every time for when I start sniffling and sneezing. Despite this, it is still my favorite place to buy fabric and other bits and pieces. Bring cash for smaller purchases because there is a minimum for charges.

Molly Peck: . When I went to pull a number to have my fabric cut, there were 11 people in front of me. I have never had to wait this long to have fabric cut. Patricia was helping all of the customers with their fabric, as well as answering customer service calls, and assisting people with online orders. She was doing such a great job at being attentive to her cutting and measuring, while also being efficient and quick to move the customers along. It is really disappointing to that management or whoever does scheduling would leave their employees in this situation. Jo-Ann's has managed to make it work by also carrying a wide array of craft products. Their email list will keep you in enough coupons that you should always have one. Sign up.Another hot tip is to grab your number for the cutting table whenever you like. They will call your number on the PA so you don't have to stand in a line.

We bought this beautifully patterned cotton/linen blended fabric that I hope my dad can make a shirt for me. The store owner/clerk was super friendly, helpful and patient. Norma Jean Welter: Had to take my 6 yr old Riccar upright in for an emergency inspection after she started smoking. Thankfully, they were able to make the needed repairs for a very reasonable rate and the fact that they will put that money towards a new machine in the event the old one is irreparable makes the choice much easier in these tough economic times. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and the shop is easy to get to.

Aby was very pleasant and professional to work with, very accommodating to my scheduling challenges and short timeline. She presented options and did not push me to the more expensive one. She gave good styling suggestions last but not the least, she had the fusion done and installed before thanksgiving so my family was able to enjoy the cozy sitting area for the holiday.

I got my quote emailed to me promptly and then got busy for a couple of months before I could bring in my couch cushions.I called her up a random morning and she said that I could come by to look at samples and drop off my cushions.She was very understanding when I told her the reupholstery was going to cost half of what I paid for my entire couch and she showed me some budget fabrics that matched perfectly.Even though she was helping out another client, she was able to show me a couple of swatches and I was in and out within 10-15 minutes.She recently took the time to notify me that she will be on vacation for a few days but my cushions should be ready next week.The cushions turned out fantastic and the kids are back to jumping on the couch.
