Maria Brazelton: The park beside the school attracts so many children. The parents and caregivers let the children know about distancing. First time did I see all children wear their masks. There is a disclosure that it is at risk to use equipment but some brought their own toys,wipes sprays and the children were still attracted to the best toys: dirt,tan bark,grass ,trees and squirrels and the brick bridge wall.
Lu Wang: It wasn't until it was closed due to COVID19 that we realized how important this place is to us. We can take the kids and bikes there and burn off plenty of their energy, without even touching the car key. 4 small playgrounds and a pretty sizable lawn, this place deserve a special place in the kids memory.

kim nguyen: Unlike the other two reviewers, my experience at Vinci Park was amazing. I still remember all of my teachers from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I also attended the small Vinci Park preschool next to the field.Kindergarten: Mrs. Carr1st grade: Mrs. Escobar and her TA Ms. Pablo2nd grade: Ms. Wong3rd grade: Mrs. Obara and Mrs. Shem4th grade: Mrs. Nguyen5th grade: Ms. TsoiI was never bullied, and even though I had a couple of conflicts that occurred sporadically throughout the years I attended the school. There was even a newsletter that Ms. Tsoi and a couple of her E.O advanced students, including me, created. I always had great teachers and amazing friends. More than eleven of my family members have attended this school. You just have to find the right crowd.

Heba Jawaid: Honestly one of the best elementary schools out there. I am grateful that I was able to attend this for school a couple of years. 6th grade was probably my favorite year, I had the best teacher and classmates. The teachers and staff are always helpful and want us to become successful. -- 10/10. Also, Comptonites for the win !!

Arleen Kaur: I'm in sixth grade and have been in this school since first. It has taught me a lot and I love it here. I reccoment going to this school. The teachers are very nice and helpful to students and do whatever the could to have the students improve. Although one small flaw is lunch. The lunch ladies something could embarrass the students and be a little mean, but we know they aren't try to. Some are very nice though. Other than that this school is awesome.

Mahathi Adapa (potatoe): sometimes, but it's because they are doing their job and we usually don't listen to them. Other than that, I love Matsumoto.
San Jose: Matsumoto is a good school. Get ready for your kids to work hard. It is a traditional bare bones elementary school. They focus on the core of what makes a school curriculum. Teachers do a good job in providing feedback and they are open to answering questions that parents may have. As to the administrator in chief, the current principle will be missed and his superman Halloween costume will always be remembered. It would be a pleasure to have him back if it doesn't work out at Leyva. The one thing I would like to see improve is traffic enforcement. I'd like to see more crossing guards or traffic enforcement after-school when kids cross the school exit at Mackin Woods Ln.

Joe G: Very nice school that is hosting the Summer bridge program for kids going into the 3rd grade. My son likes the school and on his first day at the bridge program he said it was awesome and they learned about paleontology. They were even served a grab and go snack during the morning class session. Oak Grove school district is really trying new things for kids to succeed and I applaud them for doing so.

Sudha: My kid is going this school past 4 years. I never had problem with anything or anyone. Teachers are highly skilled and they know to deal with each and every kid. Staff is friendly. I highly encourages the parents to come to either SSC meetings or coffee with principal to notify the issues you are having with school or other issues you wanted to talk to you about or simply get to know about your kid's school.
