Bianca A: Great service with very friendly staff. It is a pretty small restaurant so they ask that you vacate your table after 90 mins. Makes total sense so if you’re a talker like me, plan accordingly. We loved everything from the cheese beignets, the generously sized beet salad, Manila clams, and the pot de crème. We understand that they rotate the menu so we’d be up to see another iteration of it.
Kimberly Le: I made a brunch reservation here and I don't normally enjoy brunches, but the quality of food was SO GOOD! We ordered the cheese plate which had a nice selection of Cowgirl Creamery with really nice snack pairings. The mushroom omelette may be one of the best, well-cooked omelettes I've ever had. And the hash browns were perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft and moist in the center. Serious props to the chef. The ambience is so comfortable and cozy, kid-friendly with high chairs available, and not so loud so you can have nice conversations.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs!
Kayla Ladd: Great food and atmosphere. Kid friendly too!
S V: Just OK – – really bad fish with green sauce no taste highly avoid. Burgers were a bit on the salty side and the best part was probably the pork belly service was OK but we’ve had better here which was a little disappointing. For example, the server didn’t really come back and check on us or even see if we wanted another drink once we got food. On the bright side, host was awesome and as usual, the chef’s brother came and said hi, which was nice.

Brandon Boutros: Great place and great people! I was driving through and wanted to stop last minute for breakfast at a dog friendly place. They cleaned a table and pulled a chair out to the patio just for me. They were very attentive, social, brought water out for my dog, and kept an eye on her while I went inside to use the restroom and wash up. It was great service even though I was the only one outside. Great Job Jose!
a t: Huge menu with fast service, wow!Prices are fair for the portion sizes you get.A very diverse menu, something for everyone. I enjoyed every bite.Entry is tight and parking is plenty in the back. Will definitely return to try more of their menu.
Paul W: It's good food, and great service. But they don't serve anything that makes the place particularly "Southern." There are no specials or signature dishes here that I'd expect from a Southern restaurant. No cornbread, no Cajun, no Catfish. They do have biscuits and gravy on the menu, which tasted good but there was nothing particularly special about them that I couldn't find at any other breakfast place. And only one fried chicken entry that doesn't stand out. It's a good place to get food if you're not looking for anything outside of a standard breakfast, though. Dishes are cooked well, prices are reasonable and the service is top notch.
Damian: I had a war and personal welcome. Ask Jesus for the special chilli sauce!Recommended dishes Swedish Pancakes, Coullote Steak and Eggs …

Suyapa Rivera: Excellent services
Maria Rodriguez: UPDATE: 😋 Went for our second time on a Friday morning, zero wait time. Excellent service by Jesus. We were in/out with in 1:15mins for a party of 6. This time I had the Chilaquiles Rojos with a Prime Rib Eye Steak and OH MY G….. Bommmb! Juicy, flavorful and delicious! Couldn’ve used a little more spicy heat on the chilaquiles sauce, but once again DELICIOSO 🏻ORIGINAL: I love me some Chilaquiles! I try them at every new restaurant I go to, so when I seen theirs on Instagram, I knew I had to try them!We went a couple weeks ago and y hey did not disappoint! I ordered the Chilaquiles with green salsa, two over medium eggs cooked to perfection and a delicious tri-tip steak. I did ask for medium, and I will say that it was more on the medium well side, but it was still delicious!Definitely expect a wait on the weekend. We waited 40 minutes for a table for 2 and it did take about another 30 minutes from the time we sat down to get our food BUT they were super busy and I totally see why! Their food is absolutely delicious authentic Mexican food and it was worth the wait!
Francisco: What a lunch! This place is delicious, and the food is very well-portioned. I love the atmosphere and the seating layout. Unfortunately, the wait is tremendous. The waiting area was packed, with a 45-minute to 1-hour wait for walk-ins. Some customers decided to give up and go to another establishment. The menu is too big, making it difficult for the restaurant to have a fast turnaround, as our food took quite a while to arrive. The food is good, and the atmosphere is fantastic, but the table conversation can feel slow due to the wait.My OrderI ordered the Jalapeno Burger with fries and a large cup of water. The meat was well-cooked, though a bit well-done when I specifically asked for medium-rare. Regardless, the patty was still juicy and well-seasoned. The fries were crispy and well-salted, complementing the burger perfectly.Special OccasionIt was also my daughter's birthday, and the staff went out of their way to make it special. They sang happy birthday and brought her a small chocolate cake, which was a delightful touch.Pricing and ParkingThe price of the food is well-balanced, comparable to your average breakfast and lunch joint. However, parking is complex, and you should be prepared to walk a minute or two as this restaurant is located in a small plaza with shared parking, among other businesses.Overall ImpressionOverall, the food is fantastic, and the staff is amiable. I wish the service was faster and the menu a bit shorter. Despite the wait, the food quality and the pleasant atmosphere make it worth a visit. If you're patient and ready for a bit of a wait, this place is worth tryinghttps://iwashere.blogtwitter: @RealPreciadoParking: Pricing and ParkingThe price of the food is well-balanced, comparable to your average breakfast and lunch joint. Mark Anthony-Johnson: The meats come out hot, tender, and perfectly cooked. There’s a lot to choose from and you’re never waiting very long for food. There’s also a salad and condiment bar that has a lot to choose from. This is definitely a restaurant for almost anybody even vegans. There’s relatively cheap parking across the street in a parking garage and free street parking after 6pm. It’s not cheap but worth the prices
karen armenta: "I recently dined at Taurinos Steakhouse and had an exceptional experience. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The quality of the meats was outstanding – cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend trying their steaks!Overall, Taurinos Steakhouse exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return. If you're looking for a great dining experience with delicious meats and excellent service, this is the place to go.
gildo marques: "Visiting this steakhouse was an amazing experience! The quality of the food is exceptional, featuring an impressive variety of succulent meats and delicious sides. Everything is prepared to perfection, highlighting the authentic flavors of Brazil. Additionally, the environment is extremely clean and well-organized, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The service is efficient and friendly, with waitstaff always ready to assist with a smile. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Brazilian culinary experience!"
Bastakokak: Taurinus restaurant located in downtown San Jose, is my family’s favorite Brazilian steakhouse. Our “go-to” place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and mini reunions. My family and I head over to Taurinus and satisfy our craving for the juiciest and mouth watering selection of roasted meats, grilled pineapple in addition to an inviting and delicious salad bar that keeps you coming back for more. Dont even get me started on their yumilicious Brazilian cheese breads! They are to die for 🤤 The facility, service, staff and overall experience … absolutely amazing and highly recommended!!! A definite 10/10 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
John K. Asenso: 10 Stars 10 stars. Outstanding Brazilian steakhouse. Impeccable service. I met the owner. A gracious man indeed. Food was excellent. A great night out with the boys!!! I shall return. Tommy Kang: I recently stopped by SJSU to relive my collegiate memories and stumbled across La Lune. Hungry and wanting some caffeine, I went in to give this place a shot.Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised with the warm greeting by every employee. While ordering, we all had a nice conversation and discovered the staff are fellow Spartans. Definitely feels like I'm amongst friends and just not a restaurant. As for the food? I had a double dose of strawberries: a strawberry crepe and strawberry matcha. Both pastry and drink have just the right amount of sweetness and are not overly sweet. No lingering aftertastes nor sugar overdose feeling, which is a very good thing! Before leaving, I chatted with the staff. The current owners recently acquired this establishment and are making adjustments and evolving their menu. I look forward to trying out more of La Lune's offerings and for more good times & conversation!
Yong Jae Chong: As an SJSU alum, I was on campus last week during my visit to San Jose. I came across this jewel of a cafe just right outside the campus. I ordered the croque monsieur and it was spot on. It was tasty and was very fulfilling. For a quaint cafe they have a very diverse menu. My only complaint was that my coffee was a bit acidic and made it taste bitter. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place for a quick lunch if you're near or on campus.
maria iglesias: We go here on the weekends. Parking can be tough but is worth it. I really like their sandwiches. My husband likes the turkey bistro on baguette. It’s healthy and uses good quality ingredients. My favorite is the chicken pecan sandwich in croissant. Very creamy and not too sweet. Has apples which give it a nice crunch. The place has new ownership but has made a lot of improvements to the place such as self order kiosk. This allows the workers to focus on making sandwiches and drinks quicker. But from what I can tell the improved efficiency doesn’t mean lower quality. The staff are super sweet and friendly. They always have a smile and seem to really enjoy working their.
Maria Canul: This is a tiny place downtown but it’s an opportunity to enjoy a real Parisian cafe experience and the food is an experience too because a real chef crafts it. Even the coffee is an experience. I’m a former Peets barista and I own an espresso machine, but I just ordered a cappuccino with my crepe because even I’m not that good and I had months of training to make great espresso drinks then in the traditional Dutch method Peets used to use decades ago.Dietary restrictions: The crepes are real crepes, not thin pancakes, so they are lower in carbs and higher in protein and I ordered 2 extra protein add-ons. This is a great option for brunch for me that doesn’t push my blood sugar sky high. Each item I ordered was ala carte and I don’t get extra carbs I don’t want and It’s a great price for the quality.
S V: It took a bit of time for them to get our order to us, but the food is amazing and their honey ginger tea was incredibly soothing for my sore throat!I give the girl working here so much credit for seemingly doing it all. This is a lot of work to do, and while it might seem slow for you if it's just one person there, I thought it was worth the wait.
tinana h: It was my first time trying this place out and I was pleasantly surprised, the atmosphere was great and the service was amazing. I ordered their earl gray cake and it was delicious, it wasn't too sweet which was to my liking. I will definitely be coming back.
Ang: Small sit-in or sit-out café. It's like an American café with San Jose flair. Student run front of house. Don't come expecting a Parisian brunch spot. The branding concept is *different* calling it La Lune Sucreé but then looking at the menu options, all that to say: you'll still enjoy it very much. You should know the tea is better than the coffee. Sandwich options are far less French.Fast and great service today. Refreshing pit stop. Reasonable prices to feed oneself on the go.Veggie options!! I got the vegan avocado pesto sandwich but I believe the croissant is made with dairy butter. So 3.5/4 stars.. French fried onions were a delightful surprise imo but definitely not French 😅 haha.Hope to see more vegan options as the place grows and tries out even more creative things ❤️ hint hint Hot For Food's recipe for a Monte Cristo... Would you consider it Owner? 😋😋😋😋
Pablo Acevedo Noda: Great sandwiches and coffee
Evan Cooper: Extremely nice and personable staff, bought 4 sandwiches for my group during a convention nearby and they were delicious
Alexis Len: was very friendly and made comfortable conversation with me. Helped me find a quick snack while i was visiting the surrounding area.
