Soy Selan: Playground: The dog was also happy with the beautiful lawn.

Jo Mo: Dog park is very nice but watch out for the know it alls who want to tell you how to do everything from play with your dog to train it. Almost every time I've been there I've got the Karen of the dog park.

Angie Castaneda: Great park with nice dogs and owners. Clean, I just wish the dog fountain had more water pressure.

Nicholas Tomasello: Nice park, clean too

Daniel & Elizabeth Garcia: Great

yesiwood: Great little park that has a fairly large fenced dog area. There are basketball courts and gym type equipment and swings for kids. and a few picnic tables with BBQ, there are also bathrooms.

Rick Contreras: Nice dogs and owners!

Tiffany Han: This is my dog’s favorite park! He can enjoy his running, have more exercise, learning how to save his lovely dogs from other naughty puppies.

M H: I love this park

Charlene Teets: So far our one and only dog park. We started taking our puppy Cookie here as a puppy. The other dogs in the small dog area are very well mannered with attentive owners. They do have a big area under the first bench that will get a puddle of it rains and our Cookie can't resist but to run in it.

Jen Petrovich: We stopped on to this park on a break during a long drive. The dog park is part of a much larger park that has a sport court and playground. The dog area is quite large. There are separate areas for small and large dogs. The best thing is more than half of the dog park is covered in turf. Dogs love turf. It's very clean and people are friendly. It's in a good part of town.

Kanani Hoapili: Nice neighborhood dog park. Turf and dirt with shade around the edges of the park. No bathroom, few benches to sit on.

bryce peck: It depends on what time you go and who is bringing their dogs, once you recognize the faces of the owners you'll know if you should stay or leave. My current recommendation is to go during the "rush hour" during 4-6 but leave after ~6:30There are some owners who let their dogs bully/bite or get too aggressive with other dogs and don't do or say anything!

Wolf: Nice park. The water fountain needs a bit of improvement. Some bowl and tap would be perfect but you need to continuously press the button to dispense a little water that drains away.

Cathy Laughsgiggles: Had a very enjoyable time at this dog park. Very clean

SANDY: The people are so friendly and park is well kept.

Katherine Carino: and it was fine, currently, it’s temporarily closed to get a new fence. I’ll come back to update the review when we return.Edit 1/17/2022Changed my last three star rating to five. We have returned since it opened back up and I’m glad to be back! This small community dog park has been a frequent visit of ours and we return almost every day. Everyone who takes their dog here are all regulars, nice, friendly people with the sweetest dogs. Because they’re all regulars, the dogs have all gotten to know one another and all get along so well. Most of the dogs here are medium to large breeds but small dogs are welcome and get along well. Owners are all respectful, responsible and loving to all the dogs.

Nidia Rodriguez: It is the Park of my Neighborhood or neighborhood of D8 that improved a lot thanks to former councilor Sylvia Arenas, now Supervisor, and will continue to improve thanks to Councilor Domingo Candelas. We have a community center that helps children after school. ALSO ON THE THIRD SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 11 AM WE HAVE DELIVERY OF FOOD BOXES BY THE SECOND HARDVEST FOOD BANK

Connie Mathison: This dog park was clean and not very busy. I will be back.

Ernesto De anda: Very quiet to spend time with familyPlayground: Fun for children swings various gamesDog-friendliness: Dogs are welcomePicnic area: It can be a party

Zachary Gemmill: Small, but nice and underused. It has 2 separate enclosures. I was disappointed when the MP school district locked the 9 acre fallow field between August Boger and Fernish Park. Several of us used to let our muttleys run free there for years, and I never saw any problems. This is a tiny and underused local dog park that's an alternative. Big Puppy has just enough space to run out her energy.

Ann ELIZAGA: We love coming here

Alexander Rivera: It's very nice...

Chloe Anne Ordona: As noted from previous reviewers, you have to pay $6 for parking to get inside the dog park. I brought my small dog and kids with me to the small dog area. There is also an area for large dogs. The small dog area is okay. Not many shades compared to the large dog area. There is 1 picnic table to sit on and a large tree stump. The area was well kept. We did not see many dogs but the view of the park was relaxing. Overall, this is an okay spot. I am unsure about the friendliness of the people here. We had initially wanted our dog to play with other small dogs but they left and went to the large dog area to separate their dog from us. The whole point is to socialize my dog but we were disappointed about not being able to do that. Restrooms are close to the perimeter.

TD Tim: Parking was $6, the park is clean, the area is also bigger than I thought it would be. Most of the dogs here are friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Dawn: Its a cool vibe every bodys dog played well and kept it up

Brian Henk: occasionally. As long as you're not coming at midnight or later, it's safe.

Ally Lin: Very clean space near San Pedro Square. Aesthetic fits in with the downtown SJ vibe. Space is small and there are usually only one or two dogs.

Courtney Ferro: Really cute dog park in downtown. It’s been clean and stocked with doggy bags every time I’ve visited. One star taken off as there’s no water spicket and the overhead string lights have been nonfunctional lately so it’s very dark in the evening

Jacob Martinez: Small lil park in the middle of DTSJ, chill spot to take the pups to see some homies real quick

Olga Uribe: Cute little dog stop for those who live down town or anyone traveling using the VTA system with pets. Its paid parking if you can find any so I would only recommend if you are out for a stroll and you happen to find yourself downtown San Jose, then this place would be a nice stop for the Puppers🐶❤️

Tavi Jones: It was dark not only because of it's location and the fact I visited at night. There are overhead lights strung overhead throughout the park yet they were not on when I went there. The park is surprisingly clean despite the grass being fake. It's a cute little park right on Santa Clara St. There are numerous benches for people to sit. The park must be privately owned property because this is unlike any other dog park I have seen. There are planters throughout the perimeter of the park with actual living plants in them. The plants and cleanliness of the park makes the visit a better experience than you would expect being on Santa Clara Street. The park is well fenced in and gives peace of mind because one knows they can allow their dog to roam freely and safely. Nestled between two buildings you almost don't even know it is there as you are walking past. The dogs had a blast and they were overjoyed with all the places they had to explore and smell. I wouldn't suggest taking a big dog with loads of energy to that park though because there isn't much room for a large dog to run. If you are looking for a tranquil dog park downtown this park is perfect for you and your dog.

Miriam Townsend: He loves it! So I love it.

Teresa Dempsey: Couldn't believe how small this park was, but was surprised at how many people and their dogs showed up and had a great time

L. S.: I bring my buddies dog, Penny,an 8 month old lab here to play with the other dogs and tire her out. She loves it here. Also, whoever maintains the park, SHOULD INSTALL A WATER SYSTEM FOR THE DOGS. And the dispensary for the poop bags needs to be refilled regularly.

Kerstin Belnap: Right downtown on Santa Clara! I didn't know what to expect. Turns out is is worth the 1.5 mile walk. Very nice, tiny, clean dog park with nice people and the dogs are great. I don't know if they have water cause I always bring ours. You might want to bring water just in case. Sorry about the lousey shots, I really don't do photography.

Import Factory: Nice place to give the doggies a runDog-friendliness: Dog parkPicnic area: Picnic tables inside dog area

wayne tindall: A nice neighbor dog park. There were plenty of doggie bags. Water is available. This is a large area, but it is not divided,so all dogs share the same space. We went this weekend and my dogs played well with the bigger dogs. If you're not familiar with the area. The park is at the end of the road, so only street parking

Janet Lin Craft: Such a hidden gem. Park is on a dead end street so street parking is limited. Water fountains had ice cold water for the doggies. My boys were exhausted after playing. Lots of shade to hand out. Double gates at all entrances.

Ernnie Chow: Clean and well cared for. Dogs are well behaved

Andre Bernal: The dog owners here are friendly and chill. There's shaded picnic tables to sit at. The facilities are kept clean. This is my dog's favorite park.

Rowan Hoose: dog park. Akira & I go almost everyday.99% of dogs & their people get along great, friendly, and considerate. There's always a fly in the ointment, some jerk has been yelling at people & getting in their face. He is a bad dog, always fighting with any and everyone. Don't let 1 bad apple ruin the barrel.Enjoy😉If you run into the DPDB in pic below he has been banned from this park for violations of the SCC park 'code of conduct.'Avoid this toxic person..

Chad Is Rad: Fantastic dp! I'm not a huge fan of any dp but this place has cool people and cool dogs. A huge enclosed space of high quality artificial grass that is perfect for high speed maneuvers. You'll find: Water stations, loads of benches and tables, tall trees and a shade sail, complimentary waste bags and plenty of lighting for after dark adventures. NO restrooms but plenty of retail stores within walking distance

V: Small, narrow park but the artificial turf is nice and dogs can have fun. The dogs that came on the day I went were not aggressive and behaved properly. Overall, a good experience.

Dora Norbut: Lovely large park! Nice astroturf and big awning to get under in case of rain. Plenty of seating for the owners. And even lighting for when it gets dark! Wow! Wish we weren’t just visiting the area.

Brad Mitchell: Friendly people and dogs, good amount of running space, quiet

Vidyasagar Baliyara: Great dog friendly place ...just know that there is no separate place for small dogsPlayground: Yes Public restrooms: Yes Off-leash dog area: Yes Picnic tables: Yes …

buki wilson: Our three dogs like it here. They could cut the lawn/weeds more often but this place has a great large area for our three GSDsDog-friendliness: Big dog enclosures

Huyen Nguyen: Large space with grass for dogs to roam. Great for early mornings when few dogs are around but can be rowdy in the late afternoon. Dog owners here tend to be hands off and/or inattentive so it is best to keep an eye on your dog at all times.

Tiana Mull: Love this place so much. It's my neighborhood dog park and I frequent it often. I will say that the locals do allot to maintain upkeep which is amazing. However, only downside is the extremely high volume of homeless. They have a camp in the trees behind the large dog park that extends to the freeway and large field. It's not necessarily a problem except I go there super late and into early morning and being addressed, approached and/or just made to feel unsafe by very few of them is a big turn off.All pros and cons weighed though, I love this park and so do my babies.Restrooms: Often used for bathing by the homelessDog-friendliness: Majority of the dogs and owners are wonderful. Just always be aware and careful if those who are less then concerned about the rules and/or temperament of their fur baby.

E *: Easily the best dog park I've been to. Can't beat natural grass. Dogs are pretty friendly with mindful owners. Had one incident where a male dog started making to mount my girl, so we left before escalated. Would've been nice if his owner handled it instead but whatever not a fault of the park lolOther wins:-Provided poop bags-Separate areas for small and large dogs-Water fountain with bowl for dogs-Lots of seating, gazeboFeels like this could be our home base while only stopping by others occasionally!

Erika: Dog-friendliness: Super dog friendly!

Randall Ray: Very busy in the evenings- only dog park open after sundown that I know of in the area. The dog park is next to sports fields. You would not want to picnic inside the dog park its self as it is slot of dogs in an area that is less than an acher. There is no playground, there are restrooms that are usually open-it’s a dog park specifically for dogs.

Sidharth Jangra: The best dog park if you have a dog that’s reactive to bikes or anything with wheels. This one is different from regular dog parks which are situated next to kids park because of which there are many kids/people on bikes. This park is a bit on its own because of which you only see dogs. Also, it’s always busy with great dogs. So can some anytime and your dog will have fun.

NICOLE FRANCO (FUNSIZE): KuńnelaH always has someone to play with

Michael F: Nice dog park, pretty clean. This is a smaller dog park for reference. It's split for small and large dogs.

Alfonso Garcia: Nicest dog park I’ve ever been ! Nice turf, very crowded by dogs separately by size 🐶

Suning: big parking area too.

toshi usami: Love this place. Very clean.

Julian Weins: Awesome place for socializing your dog and also yourself!Clean, lots of friendly dogs&owners and plenty of fun there.I really value that there are poopbags, drinking fountains, kind of a dog washing station and also clean public restrooms!!Adjacent parking lot makes it a almost daylie place to be.Restrooms: Clean, accessible and open to public of courseDog-friendliness: Poopbags, drinking water, faux grass and some dirt/soil surrounding inside the fenced play area.It is big enough to let incompatible/fighting dogs enough space to separate.Picnic area: 2 tables with seatings under a roof, where you can have talks with other people.

Paul Collins: My favorite San Jose dog park. They have a small dog area and a large dog area. Both sides have a path you can do laps around the play area while your dog plays, which is nice.

Marcos Javier Vera: A very pleasant place, it just needs a little more shadows to overshadow the heat and/or the rain a little more.

Samuell Guaman: Once I went to play and practice alone, and it was after a league game that they were playing, I left my suitcase on the side of the field, and my cones and ball inflator were stolen from my suitcase, but I was able to find it, the I recommend if you go with more people and that it be in a part of the court that is alone

Rayna Yvette: Love this park so roomy and good to walk and exercise with a huge dog park. The only thing too many homeless.

josue Cruz: Very beautiful

Jose Monteverde: Smaller, thus greater community and real grass as opposed to the Reed one. Good alternative on Wednesdays since Reed is closed until 3 for maintenanceCon: no water fountain for dogsPlayground: Next door, fencedDog-friendliness: Yes!! No fightersPicnic area: One bench. No bbq

Henry Wang: Small park with a small playground on sand. Quiet. Some chairs in shade for rest.

Juan Zuniga: Plenty of shade. Good extended periods. No water fountains.Playground: Playground is available for children along with baseball field.

Renjun Liu: Pretty nice off leash Park, comes with restroom and nature terrain.

Ally Lin: Good for introverts because it is a peaceful, grassy place that never has too too many dogs. There is one park table each in the big dog and small dog area.Ramp to Coleman Costco is right behind the fence. Depending on where you are coming from, you may have to do a loop before driving into the parking lot. Parking is located behind the playground, which you can see from the road. There are poop bags and bins in the dog park but water, restrooms, and parking spaces are all farther away.

Sean O'Shea: I have only been here after dark and late night. The place is quiet and very clean there are restrooms behind what appears to be a dugout baseball field at the far end from parking lot ... they close them in the evening. There are also several nice Chest/Domino tables set up with boards already built-in just have to bring your own pieces or they could be used as mini picnic tables peaceful nabor hood .

Jesus Macias: Excellent space

Efrem Rensi: This place is ok. It's not as good as Jackson street Park IMO but better than others in the area. There are trees at this one at least, and a grass lawn. The regulars who show up here seem to be a good crowd.
