SpaceCat is a collector and hobby shop. We specialize in comics, Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, Yugioh, and vintage video games. We are the largest store in the San Jose area and the oldest, established in 1978. We carry a full line of new and back issue comics and graphic novels, as well as collecting supplies. We also buy all these items and collectibles from the public.
During this global crisis, SpaceCat is dedicated to doing what it can to protect both our customers and our staff while still remaining open as much as possible. We are now open from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.
If you wish to visit our store, you will be required to wear a mask at all times while in the store. We have hand sanitizer on hand as well that we require all customers to use before browsing our store.

Anthony Nguyen: I'm mainly interested in pokemon and yugioh singles. Compared to their valleyfair/great mall locations, their selection of this stuff is a little weak/smaller.Its a really cool store with other products btw. A few years ago, I guess it was the "main" store of their four locations. But I feel like they put a little more effort in valley fair/great mall for singles in the past year or two. Their eastridge location is the biggest imo. Just not the biggest singles selectionBy nature of the mall though, eastridge is the easiest to park and get in/out

I super adore Erica!They have a multitude of different genres i.e. product/stock.I love the $1 comics and the selections they have My go to stop for anything that also include my love for Comics, Anime, illustration, card/board games color books, stuffies, and figurines, collectibles, posters etc.They also do live card games that you can sit in on as long as you sign up.

Giving me suggestions that he felt were hot and some that were not. Because of Jeff, I was able to buy some books that my daughter fell in love with. Jeff is an asset to your store. His friendliness and customer service makes Heros & Champions a store I will recommend to anyone who askes me for my “go to” store for comics. Please give him my thanks.
Carlos Nunez: First time at a comic book store and a great one to visit if you're interested in visiting one! Im not sure if the guy in front is the owner but he was welcoming and helpful. He knows a lot about this so if you have any questions he would probably be your guy. He offered to help me find whatever i was looking for, Lots of options to choose from!

ELMURCIELAGO: Pretty nice place. Got the comics I wanted at a good price and other stuff. Worker was nice and felt welcomed. Drove from Gilroy since comic shops near me don't carry much Silver age comics or supplies I need. Definitely check this place out if you're around.
momo: The guy on shift today was super helpful in helping my friend find what she needed. They didn't have my graphic novels in stock as it was popular and sold out quickly. I managed to find other graphic novels in the store. They have a wide selection, looking forward to returning in the future.

Luis Ruiz (Coledition): I've gone multiple times after that bad experience. Things have been much better, their new employees are very kind. So I'm updating the score and review. It's not fair to rank a store poorly just because of 1 employee which may not be there anymore.I tried giving this place a 2nd try but they lost me with their racist Mexican comment. Making fun of Marvel for selecting a Mexican hero, "El Muerto" to make a movie out of is not cool at all. Unacceptable.I wish I could rate this comic store higher. But the few times I've been here I feel the staff isn't very friendly or I'm not sure if racist. Buy I didn't feel welcome. Also wanted to reserve a comic but I couldn't just because the system apparently shuts off at 8:00. Not a happy customer..

momo: This is a small comic book shop, but I love how they organize their independent books section. It makes finding what you want easier. I was able to pick up the first archive edition of Creepy and Eerie since other comic book stores were out of stock. I'm so glad they had it in stock. The guy behind the counter was also super helpful.

Ceerealkiller: I’ll definitely make use of. It’s a comic shop for comic fans! Damon was friendly and knowledgeable. A true fan of comics. Do yourself a favor and visit. Signs on the street lead you to the downstairs suite.

Mark Belanger: Great shop if you're looking for back issues. Lots of good Silver Age books that are raw, but there is a room full of pretty epic slabbed books if that's your thing. Damon, the owner is friendly, very knowledgeable and fair in his grading.
