Bill Lin: Definitely the most authentic and "real" Italian deli shop ever !!! Without the marketing and social media trick, Chiaramonte family has been serving the same thing in the past 115 years.Ordered their signature Italian Sausage 🌭 Sandwich, it doesn't have a fancy look, but the taste of their sausage and meatball sauce is really full of flavors, you can literally appreciate the spices of their recipe, this sausage is probably the best I've ever had.The environment is not posh, but you can imagine the scenes that Chiaramonte family has been serving this neighborhood with the same heart and effort throughout the past century!!!

M C: This place is so good! I highly recommend the Pepper Steak sandwich with steak sauce, Dry-Cured Italian Salami sandwich, and the Hot Italian Sausage sandwich. The sourdough roll is soft and perfect. The service there is good as well! Looking forward to trying out their raviolis and pasta. This place has been here for a while, there’s great vintage pics and items to look at.

Nate Ulsh: I came for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and drinks. The chai latte was on point as was the chicken pesto panini. A good mix of chicken, sauce and condiments. Decent price for portion of food. Quick service, amicable staff, clean establishment. Nice ambiance, natural light and Latinx music playing. Great vibes, plenty of parking in the lot next door.

Katherine White: Will absolutely come back. We came in for my kid who has been getting his hair done by me since covid. We've driven by often and he has been asking for a cut for a few days so when we were driving by today we came in hoping they might have time. We got lucky they took him. We normally try not to walk in places, I'm really appreciative they did a walk in. They talked to my 8 year old like he was part of the family and made him feel like he belonged there. His cut was quick and great especially seeing as my description was not the greatest. After they gassed him up about his cut and had him feeling like he was on top of the world.
David Ramos Midence: Earlier today, without notice my usual barber had to cancel on me and that led me to search for other options. Having moved to the area not too long ago I still didn’t know many of the local shops but a quick yelp search led me to Uncle Chops. A quick call later and I was told that even though they prefer appointments, that if I was able to be there in 20 minutes that they would be able to pencil me in. Love the feel of the shop, carries a very old-school barber style with welcoming hosts and great conversations. Primo asked me enough questions to know exactly what I wanted and executed it to perfection. 100% would recommend, but make an appointment lol

Ron Levi: A classic barbershop with great ambiance and amazing haircuts. José is most definitely the best beard guy in San Jose. Stop in to get tidied up, but book early because they are poplar!
Martin Kemper: They did a solidly good job, but they missed and I missed a significant and obvious error in the cut, which my wife pointed out that night. It was a chunk of hair which was just missed and not cut, when slicked back it wasn't obvious but quickly showed and for the rate charged... needing to get a fix feels less than great. I do appreciate the conversation and the environment, both were excellent, it just felt like the critical part wasn't quite what it needed to be at the price point.

IMHO, the best in the south bay.A couple of pro tips:* Don't visit on the weekends close to closing time as they frequently run out of bread and close early* When ordering, ask them to bag the produce and not put it in the sandwich, unless you're going to eat right away. This keeps the bread crisp and the sandwich can be heated up later in a toaster oven with ease.* All of their sandwiches are super delicious; there are no bad choices.

Many Americans ignore fresh produce and go straight for the unhealthy processed junk food, so I've been disappointed with the meager produce section in many Whole Foods locations across the country. But this location suffers from none of that and you're actually spoiled for choice!One thing I really like are the prepared meals--they're healthy and convenient for busy tech workers. Rocky Quat: This spot is only open a couple of hours a day and is cash only but everyone that goes here seems to know that so they’re always prepared. If you aren’t there’s an atm machine for you. The bread is baked in house so it comes out hot and they use boarshead meats so you know it’s quality. I ordered a classic and got it within minutes. The place is a well oiled machine that’s tucked away in a corner. I’ve been going to the coffee shop next door for years but never thought an awesome sandwich place was within feet of me. For sure I’ll be back.
