Frank Stutz: Great selection of trees! The staff if very nice and courteous.
Shruthi: It was the perfect first Pumpkin Patch for our 1y old. He loved playing with the hay and the pumpkins. We had fun pulling him in the cart and hiking up the hill. The popcorn and lemonade were yummy. Free entry and parking and no crowd/lines was what we were looking for and this place was the best.
Sierra Salcedo: This was the perfect pumpkin patch for us to take our baby. It was so calm with plenty of places for photo ops and it’s dog friendly. We were so happy being able to come with our lunch relax and enjoy the day there. Coming back for Christmas time!
Mona Dinpajouh: I really loved their first pumpkin patch this year. It was just perfect for little kids. Highly recommend if you're not fond of attraction based pumpkin patches.
Pamela Kruse-Buckingham: Wanting to make a new memory for Covid-19 Holidays 2020? A good start is Patchen Old Town. It's gorgous there, with picnic tables & an old fashioned barn with a gift shop, hot cider & wine tasting, all free. Trees are $75 & up, but you get to choose & cut your own, and they'll net the tree & help you tie it in to your car roof. We got a 5ft tree that fit into our backseat. A beautiful drive up to the Santa Cruz Mtns is an added extra. Keep going on Old Santa Cruz Hwy to the Soquel-San Jose Highway and make a day of it by stopping at the beach.

Scott Shafer: Our favorite tree farm to go to each year. No better way to kick-off the Christmas festivities. Great scenery, and always able to find a tree we like.
Michelle Staley: The website is down but the business is open. We love McKenzie Ranch because they’re the only farm that reliably has good-quality tall trees and the capability to bale them. There are lots of freshly planted areas this year so I expect we can look forward to many more years of great trees to come!

Kimberly Kaupert: Beautifully shaped trees. Each tree is perfect! And I'm picky. They do only have Douglas and white fir but the Douglas are 60 bucks a tree just like everywhere else and the white firs are about 5 bucks more. 10 dollars more per foot above 10 feet.

Ale Hartman: Tree farms tend to not be terribly professional affairs. Most of them around here don't have websites or published hours. I go here because they have clear hours, directions, professional staff, and you can pay with a credit card.Discounts on wreaths if you go late in the season.

Mark PLSTK: We just got back and we love this place. This is the second year we've picked up a fresh traditional wreath from Patchen. Last year our wreath lasted till the end of January. The folks working there are always friendly and helpful with any questions you might have. We'll look forward to coming back again next year and making this a tradition.

Joseph Bumb: The past few years we've gone to crest. Since the scz fires razed our go-to we were left scrambling for a new tree lot. Patchen was moderately hilly and they had a good assortment of interesting trees. What would keep me coming back was the straightforward pricing and above standard hospitality. They go as far as securing that tree to your vehicle while you indulge in hot apple cider. After all you did all the hard work lugging that fresh cut up hill.
