Back A Yard Caribbean Grill: what do users think?

Noel Selda: Oxtail rice more!

Susie Su: Cute vibey Jamaican restaurant. Jerk chicken wrap was good but the sauce was unevenly distributed. And could’ve used a little more flavor for my liking.Upside down pineapple cake and fried plantains were good.

Luis Valente: Great spot for some excellent soul food. It feels your heart and your stomach with deliciously cooked meats and fragrant spices. Love the oxtail with plantains and rice! Great fruit juices too!

J. Z.: Wonderful place. Definitely not a place for dining in due to limited space but the staff are pretty welcoming. Order pickup and take it home!Food is awesome. I ordered jerk chicken, goat curry and oxtail. All pretty fulfilling. Some spiciness also for all dishes. So watch out for kids!I thought parking was difficult, but actually pretty fine. I saw people just park randomly on the one way street in front of the store. And it works.Definitely will revisit again.

Haley Todd: This is some of the best food I’ve had in the Bay Area. I’m not in this area a lot but will go out of my way for goat curry and festival bread. I also get the jerk sauce bottle and freeze it in small portions which is great for instant pot or slow cooker meat recipes.Recommended dishes Curried Goat Jerk Chicken Plate, Fried Cornmeal, Jerk Sauce …

Back A Yard Catering & Take Out: what do users think?

Jerrell Stewart: I gotta share my recent experience at this Jamaican joint, and trust me, it deserves a solid 10 out of 10! As soon as I parked and went in the smell hit me. It was so good that I couldn't wait and had to take a bite right there in the parking lot.I went for the classics: oxtails, jerk chicken, and curry goat. Let me tell you, each dish was like a taste of the Caribbean. The oxtails were tender as can be, the jerk chicken had that perfect spicy kick, and the curry goat was bursting with flavor. And the portions were no joke – I left seriously stuffed. The folks working there were super friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I'm already counting down the days till my next trip. If you're in the mood for some legit Jamaican grub that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance, don't miss out on this spot. Seriously, it's a must-visit!

Bridget Washington: Great place, with some of the best dishes I ever tried!

Lydia White: Great place that serves some of the best dishes I ever had!

Monica Frazier: фавориты: вяленый лосось или вяленая курица, ананасовый пирог из бычьих хвостов и бананы,

Michael Evien: Отличная еда, еда вкусная

artin Oghabian: Только что съели тарелку тофу, совершенно потрясающую и ароматную. Рис, соус и подорожник - все потрясающе.

Kimiya Oghabian: Если вы дадите ему что-то меньше 5 звезд, вы ошибаетесь!

Coconuts: what do users think?

Javeen Thomas: I ordered catering from Coconuts for a local event and it was AMAZING! I ordered the jerk wings, chicken & beef mini patties, and jerk pork. Everything was great but the JERK PORK…was out of this world! Everyone that tried it had wide eyes with the first bite! It slapped! The meat was tender and flavorful! Add the jerk sauce for the perfect cherry on top!

Lana Konopek: . So refreshing, so tropical and very healthy🍹!! We also got a complimentary glass of home made ginger beer.As I said, we'll be going back to this restaurant over and over again and are now recommending it to all people we know! We also plan to check Chef Robert Simpson's other establishment, Back A Yard in Menlo Park 👍😊Chef Robert, you are a great Gift that keeps giving 👏Thank you for all you do! 🌞 Blessings to you and your family ✨✨✨

Christopher T: Very friendly and attentive staff

celia bai: We got the coconut shrimp, jerk chicken, and curry shrimp plate. Food was delicious. The beans and rice really stood on its own! Can’t wait to come back to try the goat curry and the cornbread. What I think was the best part was the waitress who gave us great service.

Cariblue: what do users think?

Leanne Robinson: Delicious tender flavorful jerk chicken. The wing and breast were moist and cooked perfectly. The plantains are super tasty and the red beans and rice are incredible. I am so grateful that this Caribbean gem is in redwood city we really got lucky. You have to try the pineapple upside-down cake it is a terrific treat. AND they have awesome vegan options!! The tofu and polenta were crispy and fantastic. My dad is struggling to resist his carnivore instincts but this scrumptious combination made it easy for him to stay true to his new plant based diet. 10/10 You’re missing out if you don’t try this place.

Neeraj Karmarkar: was dry. But I loved the taste

Michelle Morris: Vegetarians! Get some flavor here!Waiting on my car at America’s Tire in RWC and took a stroll around the block. Walked past Cariblue around lunch-time. Smelled really yummy but I was still working off my breakfast.Original estimate had my car finished in about an hour so on my second pass, I stopped to check out menu.Caribbean flavors with all sorts of protein options.I am a flexitarian but was so excited to see they had vegetarian entrees.I ordered the Curry Tofu & Jerk Polenta combo and one Pineapple Upside-down Cake, to-go.Brought it home and tasted a few bites! The sauce on Curry Tofu was yummy mild curry flavor, however I wished the cubes were a tad smaller for more flavorful surface-area ratio.Jerk Polenta, a bit spicy but so, so delicious. I would make a special trip just for this part of the dish. Crispy corners and soft middle of every wedge made it toothsome and hearty.Combo comes with sides. The mixed veggies underneath tofu and polenta were a bit salty. The Rice and Beans were a little dry but definitely had layers of flavor.Plantains were slightly sweet and a perfect-sized treat.Vegetarian options: Jerk Polenta is worth a special trip. Yummmm.

R j: So so so good … I’ve been wanting actual good authentic Jamaican food and it’s very hard to find until today. I’ll be backRecommended dishes Oxtail & Jerk Chicken, Fried Plantains, Sweet Plantains, Rice & Beans …

Ryan Kennedy: A real treat! I don’t get Caribbean food often.Had the jerk chicken and oxtail combo. It came with coconut rice/beans and sweet plantains. Wish I lived closer I’d come regularly.I’d give the food 4.5 stars. The proprietor is really nice and kind. The atmosphere is quiet, but was exactly what I wanted for my solo working lunch.

Kevin Gruber: Great little Mom and Pop restaurant. Great selection of meat and vegetarian entress from oxtail to ribs to chicken and even tofu. All the meat was super tender with good portion sizes. The spice level is high enough for flavor but tolerable for most people. The plantains, carnival bread, and Mac and cheese were all delicious sides. Would definitely come back again.

Heather Ruiz: Taste very good. Taste like home made food.I love it here.
