Hector Sandoval: This is the second time I've used Lalo's service. Both times have been top notch. The first time was for a complete re sole of my work boots. That was about fifteen years ago. I still use those boots on and off. Probably time for another re sole from Lalo's. They even maintained their water proofing. The second time was for another set of work boots that had a blow out. The stitching came apart from where the leather is sewn to the gortex. Another incredible job by Lalo's. Nice and friendly service. Please see before and after pics. My department contracts with a different provider. But, I would rather take my boots to Lalo's and pay out of pocket than go anywhere else. I hope that my department will go back to Lalo's someday soon. I'm completely satisfied with the work and the professionalism. Turn around time for this last case was only two days. I would imagine that is a case by case basis. If you're thinking about it, just do it. I have a feeling that you won't regret it.

Miquela: Been coming here for decades, and still going. This is a small business and very professional. The employees are very respectful and honest. I am a dancer, so I bring shoes that really need some attention and they are always honest about how they will approach the issue and if it is possible to "save" my shoes. I have tried to go to other cobblers in the area but many times they don't even attempt to fix the shoe. Here at willow Glen she repair they have done a great job at fixing most of my very worn shoes. Price, I believe, is right. Remember this is someone's life craft, if you don't want to do it yourself and you are paying someone else to do it don't be mad at the cost of the labor and materials. Overall 5 stars for service, craftsmanship, and pricing

Alain Vu: Old work craftsmanship and work ethics. Love these guys. They’ve been an establishment for over 30 years! One can’t stay in business that long without getting the formula right. Oh, and if it’s leather, these guys will dole out the required tlc.

I was definitely taken aback by the high costs at other places which had skyrocketed through the years.I greatly appreciated the affordability of this store's pricing thanks to management. The service has always been friendly, attentive, and speedy, thanks to the caring owners who prioritize craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. They are very honest about what needs to be done with no pressure ever on anything additional.They do ask for a 50% deposit, but I've found it more convenient to pay upfront, and my shoes are usually ready within a few days. The shop is conveniently located in the Almaden area within a nice shopping plaza, offering ample parking options at any time of the day.I cherish my shoes, especially the nice ones they've managed to salvage and restore, often returning them looking almost brand new. I'm thrilled and grateful for their work, as it allows me to keep beloved shoes that have brought me joy, received compliments, and remained comfortable over the years. Thanks to their craftsmanship, I don't have to part with these cherished possessions so I value their service immensely.

Harminder Singh Gill: Called this shop for fixing zipper for my winter jacket. Drove to the shop, she explained that if this is not forcibly opened and was not damaged is a good sign, but if need to be replaced the zipping mechanism cost would be $24. But in the mean time she placed the jacket on her work station and tried to move it with patience and she was able to move it to all the way to bottom to close it and see if it worked fine. She did not charge any. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Kudos to this shop.

Charles Grayson: Amazing work. Definitely my go to for my shoe repairs. I’ve several years to my favorite dress shoes by getting the heals replaced and the restoration care is fantastic. The shoes look like they came straight out of the box from the factory even though I bought the shoes in 2008! Rapid service as well. Best cobbler in town by far.

He fixed my daughter’s luggage for no charge while traveling the suitcase was opened by TSA and in closing an item of cloth got stuck and it caused zipper to jam. We tried fixing it but failed and of course it was way easy for him and took few minutes but he didn’t charge anything we offered but he graciously refused. This is one of those places. The place is packed with work going out and coming in and when I get work done it's always at least what I expect and ofentimes more.

Carol Park: My $200 Finnish sandal ripped apart - the leather suddenly came completely away from the sole. I thought I would have to throw them away - after all, i've had them for three years and wore them all over Asia and Europe. But I took them to "Joe" and he sewed the leather back on for just $10! This is perhaps my 5th time to go there - he always gets my shoes fixed in a prompt and attractive manner.
