They are constantly challenged in class by their teachers and peers. The workload is healthy. The children are taught to take ownership of their learning and grades - an awesome life skill to learn at such a young age! The management and teachers are very open to ideas and suggestions. This is one reason why I recommend this school to students who strive to be better and who have a goal in their education and their life. The atmosphere in the classroom is focused and helps you concentrate on your goals which I, and most parents believe is the best environment to learn in. The last point I will make here is the facilities - many in the reviews have complained that the facilities are this, the facilities are that. To tell the truth, I don't really have a problem with the facilities. The bathrooms, gym and hallways are very clean and sanitary. The field may not be big enough and there may not be the fields, gyms and pools that people may expect of a private high school, but it is IMPERATIVE that you remember that Basis is mostly an academically focused school and EXCELS at that. There may not be much time in high school for joining in-school sports as most students either have way too much work, or they participate in outside-school sports. Don't get me wrong, many students participate in in-school activities and EXCEL so that is always an option. Please take these points into consideration when seeing if Basis is the school for your child. As a student and a person who has had a lot of experience with Basis, I believe Basis to be a GREAT school and one where people who try, strive to learn, and set goals excel and ultimately, succeed.

At only 3 1/2 years old, he's learning how to sound out words. It's amazing!!! His confidence level has improved, he's no longer a shy little boy. Challenger makes learning a fun and enjoyable experience for the kids.

They are mentally challenged too, with the class teacher reaching out when the scores are sub-par. We think they have turned out well. We think the kids will be in their care till their 7th or 8th grades. The only challenge they face is in the lack of diversity in Challenger’s class rooms - we chose to address this by engaging them in other activities outside of school where they are exposed to the broader community ... this continues to be top of our mind.

    Deepika Kakrania: My son attended Challenger for PreK and K and he absolutely loved going to school everyday. He has learned so much there compared to my daughter who was in public school for K. The teachers are wonderful and they do amazing job of teaching these young kids so much in just 1 year. They not only focus on academics but also have fascinating art projects done in class.

Want to give couple of suggestions : Field trip should be a part of curriculum as it gives exposure to the kids to the practical world and other is to introduce more extra curricular activities needed for overall development like music ,instruments, sports etc. Also regarding the hot lunch service ,I wish if they can customize the menu as per population preference. Depending upon the population more Indian /vegetarian options should be included.
