Eddie Z: I would say there is a good reason why this Bazaar is always so busy. They are a one stop shop with great variety of groceries, supplies, hot food and treats. So maybe diff varieties of rice, many Indian treats, basics, very good hot samosa and veg pakora and the staff is very efficient and courteous. I would recommend though to plan to go early or during middle of week as they do get busy and expect a line sometimes.

Sourabh Bhavsar: One of the few Indian grocery stores in this area. We prefer to go to Sunnyvale or Milpitas but this has the basic Indian stuff to fill your needs.

Rob Zylstra: I had a wonderful experience at Lakshmi Bazaar during a recent electricity outage. Despite the lack of electronic transaction processing, they went above and beyond to ensure customers could still make purchases. They allowed us to buy our desired products by simply writing down our name, phone number, and the items we selected, placing trust in customers to settle up later. My daughter and I were craving Indian food, and their generosity was truly heartwarming and much appreciated. Kudos to Lakshmi Bazaar for their exceptional service during challenging times!

A cozy Indian grocery store - among the better stores for fresh produce. They have a large collection of packaged snacks. If I'm in the area and need groceries, I'll stop here by choice.
Stopped by the day before the second Shelter in place and was impressed that they were almost fully stocked. Helpful staff that quickly located the spices I needed for dinner. Couldn’t resist picking up some warm bread and samosas.

Aditi: I have catered several events big and small from Desi India Bazaar and it’s always been yummy and cost effective compared to others. My guests always raved and asked me where I got the food from and I have been very happy to recommend Pinal and his wife who have gone out of their way to customize their menu. I also believe in supporting local businesses close to Almaden.
