I was looking for wahl detailer and they had the new combo black edition I really wanted the trimmer but not the magic clips.. so Steve hooked me up and opened the box and sold me the trimmers! so I called my boy and told him my story... he bought the magic clips the later that day EVERYONE WINS AND EVERYONE GETS WHAT THEY WANT 🙌🙌🙌

You'll walk out of there smiling and looking sharp.Like many before, I found this place after a cheap salon butchered my hair. I walked into Hermans, and an old guy with a toothpick in his mouth who looked like he could have been in the mafia told me to sit down, and he'd take care of it. Sal fixed my hair and made a loyal customer out of me.I've returned to Hermans many, many times over the 8 years I lived in San Jose. I've seen several great barbers come and go from that place. Arlene is the best, but the other barbers will never disappoint.I recommend making an appointment over walking in. Unless, of course, you don't mind waiting a little while. The place is set up like an old-school barber shop, so you're in a room facing each other. Conversations will start, and you won't look at your phone once.10/10. I wish I could return again, but I've moved away!

I love the attention to details: from getting my feedback throughout the haircutting process to the straight razor edges on the side burns and back of neck and back massager experience at the end. Arlene is fantastic! She is considerate, skilled, and communicative. And somehow even with all of this, the haircut is still prompt and efficient. Done in just under 30 minutes.

Amy Body: Excellent customer service and great wigs for good price! Usually it takes my mom along time to wig shop but the wigs were styled nice and of good quality so we were in and out in minutes. The attendant helped out with all our needs and let my mom try what she wanted on. He made sure she had all the necessary supplies to go with the wig and the store was super organized and clean not dusty. More parking in the back.

No doubt did she keep true to the style I had in mind, but in fact then only elevated on my ideals. She is a amazing barber with extraordinary communication skills and holds herself with a strong sense of compassion for her clients. After a months time from my last appointment, Nysha Trenese remembered my particular cut and mastered her craft with a sculpted mid fade, which was tailored with precision. Outstanding artist, I definitely recommend her to any person who takes pride in how they look and most importantly in themselves. Great work, on everything.

I would absolutely recommend coming to this barber shop. I always get my cuts from Stephon he is an amazing barber and he is the best barber I’ve ever had. He always gets me right and he’s a very nice and respectful person, and for someone young as myself he gives the best advice for me when it comes to life.

My budget right now is really tight and considering how short my hair already was, I looked for a local barber school. For the low, low, practically free price of $5, The Barber Academy is just a short walk away in San Jose. I loved everything about the experience from beginning to end. They take walk-ins Tuesday-Friday from 10a-2p. The gentleman who tended to my hair is Stefan Falcon, kind, a superior listener, with flair. I don't know an "8" cut from a "2" cut and he patiently explained all this, grabbing tools from a garage-like storage unit in black, complete with my favorite part of the process: an air hose! They use this to blow every last tiny hair off your head and even your shoes! I also met the owner sitting in the back who was also friendly and Stefan said how well liked he is, which is a nice thing to hear about the boss. Women! Don't be afraid, if you have a shorter do, this could be just the ticket without all the fluff and ritual of a salon

Ron Levi: A classic barbershop with great ambiance and amazing haircuts. José is most definitely the best beard guy in San Jose. Stop in to get tidied up, but book early because they are poplar!
Martin Kemper: They did a solidly good job, but they missed and I missed a significant and obvious error in the cut, which my wife pointed out that night. It was a chunk of hair which was just missed and not cut, when slicked back it wasn't obvious but quickly showed and for the rate charged... needing to get a fix feels less than great. I do appreciate the conversation and the environment, both were excellent, it just felt like the critical part wasn't quite what it needed to be at the price point.
