E. Trevino: Great place
K Sparrow: This store is Old School and delightfully stocked with cake decorating supplies that will have nearly everything your looking for, from fillings to many boxes for your baked delectables; including sprinkles, rental plans and maybe a learning class or two. Enjoy!
soldier3335: Cake works is the go to place for anything baking, although the hours are limited, it is one of the only stores of its kind. You can buy basic baking items anywhere, but when you need specialty items, this is a one stop shop.
Maho Comer: I ordered a tiered cupcake for my wedding. Originally, I was going to skip the cake, and have an artificial cake instead. But I changed my mind a few weeks before the wedding day, because my father in law offered to cover the cost. Even though it was a last minite, they accomodated all my needs. Their responses were always fast too.The cake was so beautiful and all the guests loved it.The only thing I didn't like was setup fee was not included in delivery fee. As you might already know, everything related to wedding cost extra. I think $700 should cover everything. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with their service. Thank you so much!!
SARA MACHADO: I love The Cake Works friendly staff and their classes are easy and they are fill with information and you have alot of fun while learning and the teach away that even if you don't know how to baked you will do it! 1 day clases and great prices... I support small business... recommend this place!
Diana Serrano: but the ladies who work here are lovely. Anytime I've had a question about baking or decorating, they've hooked me up. The classes are the best. I look forward to them all week. I used to be intimidated by cake decorating, but thanks to these classes, I've gained some pro skills, from working with fondant to doing a mirror glaze. Also the recipes you gain can't be beat. I encourage you to visit ... this place won't be around forever.
Orizema: Quaint place to pick up baking supplies and decor, both edible and not such as candles, plastic toppers, and roses of varying size. The staff that has been present during my visits is older and a bit hard of hearing, but very nice and welcoming.I鈥檝e attended both virtual and in-person classes with Cake Works organized by the company I work for; they鈥檝e all been great as Cake Works provides kits with instructions, piping tips/bags, and our choice of fillings then proceeds to guide us in real time through whatever we鈥檙e learning that evening!
J.R. Flores: Incredibly nice place to shop. Everyone is friendly and they always have what I need for candy and confection projects.
Florissa Tom: My mother-in-law and I took the basic cake decorating class here. It was informative and a lot of fun! Julie was wonderful--personable, patient, and supportive. Attached is a picture of the cake I decorated with what I learned from this class! We are already signed up for the burnt almond cake class and will likely take more classes.Cake Works also has a lot of baking supplies, delicious cake mixes, fillings, chocolates, decorating tools, anything you need! They also have wedding supplies and seasonal decorations! Highly recommended.
Renisa Satrijo: What a gem of a place! The lady was willing to listen to my problem and even demonstrate a solution in her test kitchen in the back. While I was waiting for her to prep the demo, a solution came to me. I told her I didn't need her product anymore and she was okay. I will definitely be back to get their wonderful assistance and products..
Mario Guerra: Do you enjoy baking and cake decorating? Then you need to check them out. Helpful tips and classes for the beginners and huge selection of anything baking for the more skilled
Connie Lewis Cherry: This is such an amazing store with everything you need for your baking projects!
Ann Marie Yadegar: I love this shop! Wonderful variety of baking supplies, decorations, and party goodies! I have shopped here over the years and the ladies are always helpful and so pleasant!
dharma whiplash: Really helpful!
ArtQuilts: I love this cake supply store! Everyone is so helpful and informative. I had NO experience with fondant tiered cakes but Julie helped me the entire time, gave me recipes and tips and even helped me cover a difficult cake project with fondant. They have the best chocolate for ganache and I always go there to buy it! My cakes look professional and family members have been shocked at what I鈥檝e made.... all because of their help! I haven鈥檛 taken classes there yet but I would love to in the future. I鈥檓 so HAPPY they have stayed open part time during this pandemic. I would literally cry if they closed.

Alicia DiGiammarino: Had so much fun taking a cooking class here with Andrea. The other students didn鈥檛 show so it ended up being a private class for my mom and I. You get 10% off in the store on the day of the class.
JC Alderete: I always buy two of everything cause when you need it again you go back and it鈥檚 out of season or sold out.
Samantha Shaw: i鈥檝e taken two cooking classes at two Sur La Table locations and they have both been great. This time I took a French pastry class where we made croissants and kouign amann from scratch. I didn鈥檛 know it could be done in 3 hours but we did it and they turned out beautifully. Chef Andrea and her crew made the process really easy and she explained the steps in simple terms. It was really helpful and the pastries were delish.
Mickey Marraffino: We had so much fun learning French cooking with Chef Andrea and her team. I came with a small group as an experiential gift and it was more than we could have asked for. Not only was she very funny, we learned some quick, but fancy recipes and had a great meal! I鈥檓 using my new knife skills to this day! I highly recommend a Sur La Table cooking class as a GREAT gift idea and if you can get ANDREA, well, that鈥檚 a bonus!
Srijana Balasundar: Sur La Table is one of the best places in the Bay Area to take baking classes at. The chefs are fun and extremely knowledgeable and I benefited a lot from seeing lot of techniques in person. I highly recommend Sur La Table baking classes.
Peter Rapier: Attended croissant baking class, highly recommend. Very well done.
Gary Phillips: It's a great store with good customer service. Also love the classes and I've learned a lot
Ryan O'Halloran: Our group did a cooking lesson here and it was a great time. Chef Amanda was very nice and very helpful and the food was delicious!
