Scott Spetter: ..Tony's rates are very reasonable, however he has not chosen to become authorized by the major manufacturers because they pay completely inappropriate amounts for in-warranty service.You can really save yourself a lot of hassle, by just starting out with the best. Give them a call.

Lee White: I am beyond happy with my experience working with Kevin and the team at San Jose AV Rentals. Thanks to his help I was able to rent a complete AV setup for our week of wedding events, including the needed setup to stream our audio over Zoom to attendees online.We planned our wedding before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, but had to adapt to the new normal and move our event to a back yard. This meant two small outdoor events for a few in-person guests and a large number of guests participating over Zoom. I worked with Kevin to set up a system that included a wireless microphone, connected to a mixer, and pair of PA speakers to project audio to the local guests. Kevin provided a mixer with USB interface that I plugged into my Macbook Pro. We routed the microphone audio to a Zoom meeting so that online guests could hear! The USB interface also allowed us to play music from our computer for the wedding ceremony. Kevin helped coordinate a dry run with the mixer and Zoom meeting at the SJ AV office a couple weeks before the event, so that on the day of the wedding things were smooth sailing.

J Valdez: but carlos gave me a fair quote and there was past proof they fixed a D850 with great success-were talking non turning on cameras. While the parts are uncommon, they were able to source them in a reasonable time period and they repair was great. While not new, everything work great and already used it on a few shoots, couldn't be more happy. The crew revived my camera!By the way the camera literally was dropped really bad by the last owner.

Jason Cheng: Carlos, the owner is great! He was able to replace the cracked screen which actually made my Sony A7R II inoperable because I had manually switched it from the EVF to the LCD display. He charged a very reasonable $25 to check out the camera and give me an estimate. For an additional $250 he purchased and installed a new screen for me. I'm very, very pleased. It was also a pleasure chatting with him. He's an avid photographer himself. I highly recommend him.

Andrew Gist: Great and affordable service. Thorough and upfront.Fixed my Canon EOS 7D that someone knocked off a desk 馃槕. Replaced main board and dc-dc board for less than $300. Still using it with no issues 2 years later.
Steve Corolla: , and another said he sends them into Nikon for repair. I researched Nikon's site and saw that they will take a lot of time and money, which I did not want to spend. Seeing I go to the Bay Area from time to time, I expanded my search for camera repair shops. I then found Carlos' shop. I explained the symptom of trouble to him and he pretty much diagnosed the problem immediately, saying that it sounds like my camera's aperture control unit is bad. I asked him for an estimate, which he gave me, and then learned I could mail it without having to wait until I visited the Bay Area. Before sending my camera to Carlos, I spent considerable time researching my possible aperture control unit problem. Long story short: Carlos fixed my camera and had it back to me for less than $200, to include shipping costs, and all within 2 weeks. I am very happy with Carlos' service.

Regina Pittarelli-Wilson: Dropped brand new Digital SLR Nikon D850 camera on first hike out with it and cracked the camera so bad that rear panel was misaligned and view finder was damaged. We sent the busted camera to Nikon for repairs but it was returned with a sorry letter and an offer to purchase a refurbished camera for $2K!!!Contacted Camera Repair & Audio Services and was told to bring it in. They ordered the replacement parts and put it back together for one fraction of the cost of a new one. This place is awesome so don't hesitate to reach out to them as they can fix just about anything!!!

I鈥檝e read the negative reviews and all I can say to that is did you talk to Marwan the owner? On behalf of Pro Audio World I鈥檓 truly sorry that you had a unpleasant experience but I can assure you if you talk to the owner, he will go out of his way to make things right!! There鈥檚 nothing like a mom and pop business and it saddens me that we are not supporting the business model that is the backbone of our country! I鈥檓 a huge believer in customer service and follow up to the point of I will pay extra or drive the extra miles to support a business with the customer first, not the customer is always right business practice. I truly believe that there are times that a customer may not have all the information which could lead a miscommunication and or understanding but if you take the time that you put into finding a solution, I think you will find that your experience can turn out to be one of the best.

I usually knew what I wanted and would sometimes even bring in systems that I have purchased already for installation only. I've also had systems uninstalled on cars I was selling . this past week I went there with the hopes of installing a powered sub into my vehicle. I didn't know what I really wanted and they helped me decide and did an amazing job with the installation. "I did want anything too permanent " I don't typically write reviews, but I honestly feel they went above and beyond to take care of me and show me awesome customer service. i also caught a sub that was on a weekly special so the price was awesome!!! Rubin Kwon: Sunny's family business is going 30+ years strong for a reason. I was looking for a new head unit to replace my OEM radio that was outdated in my RAV4. From the time I emailed them, the entire process was flawless and so easy. Sunny provided me a few different options and also provided his personal insights on each product based on budget.I asked to also replace the speakers but rather than upselling me new speakers he recommended me to first listen to the audio quality after the new head unit was replaced since it would sound much better and it did due to the increased power. He also wired the OEM backup camera to the new head unit for me.When I got there for my appointment, Sunny was thorough in the entire process. Showed me all the parts, it's functions, and walked me how to use the head unit after the installation.I appreciate the level of transparency and honesty that Sunny provided and his team did an amazing job with the Installation. If you're trying to get your car audio updated don't waste your time researching and trust in Sunny. The reviews here are true!!

K Kumar: I got a Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-10 subwoofer installed here for my 2007 Lexus IS350. They did an amazing job with the install and it sounds so good. This is my first time having a subwoofer in a car and I'm so happy with the outcome.At first I had bought new door speakers as well, but they were 2-way and my car has a 3-way system. Guru advised I do not change my door speakers as they are clear with the car's bass turned down, and to just install the subwoofer and have all the bass come from the subwoofer instead of the car's speakers. I'm so happy I went with this idea. It really shows Guru and his son have the experience in the car audio industry and saved me money.I highly recommend this place, for not only installs, but for buying equipment as well. They have a huge variety of inventory.
