4worldlovers: Breaking Bread explores the creation of safe spaces through community and how marginalized communities seek refuge from moments of danger, destruction, and isolation. The artists’ work reimagines and recreates a world where women, children, immigrants, and refugees can thrive freely, both individually and as a community. Since 2000, Starting Arts has established itself as a leader in the local arts community. As part of our mission, we have been dedicated to making arts education accessible to all students throughout the Bay Area, regardless of ethnicity, ability or disability, national origin, race, skill level, background, religion, gender, sexual orientation or financial means. We have instituted a number of programs to foster diversity and understanding, as well as outreach to the under-served among our youth. On September 1, 2020, Starting Arts began delivering FREE arts education programs to Bay Area Title I schools whose children would otherwise not receive arts programming. In addition, we have increased the number of scholarships we offer to deserving students attending our Studio and Onsite School Arts Programs by 20%. Read More
