Ronny Landu: Nice park with so much fun for the kids and adults too. Our little one enjoyed all the rides and water activities, especially the wave pool. No super long lines for the rides. Not too crowded.Food is overpriced, as usual, and you can't bring in your own.Parking is $6 for the day, and on some days it is free.Better to go arrive there early, before they open, since there is usually a long line of people waiting to enter. Also, arriving early will guarantee finding a good spot with a shade to relax. There are plenty of free spots all over the park, in addition to the cabana rentals, but the good ones get taken quickly.Life guards, in addition to life jackets, are available at every water pool making you feel safe to have your kids play.Great place for the family to enjoy.

Katie Evanicci: Always a fun adventure for the young and old- young kid birthday parties are a blast here. Only thing is staff usually closes the popular rides 15 minutes early. Trying to explain to a 3 year old why they can’t go on a ride when they see others standing there is a little difficult.

Johnathan Alfaro: Awesome park with lots of field to run through and amazingly thought out and built playgrounds. Good amount of shade for those scared of the sun. They have a mini petting zoo type set up where you can feed animals. Only downside to this park is it is in the ghetto East Side but Hey Welcome to San Jose!

Daniel Davis: Emma Prusch Farm Park has recently built an INCREDIBLE playground with tons of options for kids. They also have a volunteer garden and animal farm with goats, pigs, rabbits, and peacocks. It’s a beautiful place to see. Highly worth multiple visits for families.

Dipak Modi: Numerous accessible trails wind through this park, offering breathtaking views of the Calero reservoir. The trails can get muddy during rainfall. There are prime spots for birdwatching and picturesque views of the reservoir, along with a handful of scenic picnic spots near the ponds.
Anastasiia Balyberdina: .Before visiting make sure the trails are open - during our visit most of the trail close to the reservoir was closed. The rest of it was quite muddy due to the recent rains. The hill trails were fine though.Restrooms: There were porta pottys at the trail head, didn’t see any on the trails.
Yi Lin: , I discovered an exceptional trail system that truly wowed me. The breathtaking views and diverse options available are particularly striking in the spring, when the hills are awash with vibrant green hues and clouds drift lazily across the azure sky. Initially, my plan was to tackle a 10-mile loop, but when the final third of the trail was unexpectedly closed, I ended up diverting an additional 3 miles along the reservoir. This unplanned detour was far from disappointing—the views were spectacular. The verdant landscape was the highlight for me, enhanced by the trail's excellent maintenance. A word of caution for summer hikers: the hilltop sections can be quite exposed to the sun, so it's wise to carry plenty of water or start early in the day. Overall, this trail ranges from easy to moderate difficulty, depending on which paths you choose to combine. Springtime, in my experience, is the optimal season for exploration.

JR McKee: Having lived here my entire life I've only been to hell your park at night to see the Velodrome. During the daytime the park takes on an entirely different dynamic. My first thought was wow, this feels like vasona coming in many ways it's similar to vasona, just as nice, there's a little bit of freeway noise but nothing too obtrusive. I found the picnic areas were nice, they clean the trash bins, the trails were nice The facilities were well kept. All in all I was extremely impressed with the overall look, feel, cleanliness, maintenance and quality of life that it afforded the party that I was with. Highly recommend.Playground: There's a playground with lots of kid friendly activities and equipment that seem to be well maintained.Restrooms: Bathrooms are pretty clean and sanitary, not too far from each area.Dog-friendliness: I did notice quite a few dogs, not just in the party in the picnic area that I was at but they're quite a few dogs walking around with owners along the path.Picnic area: The picnic area that I attended had two tables, trash, barbecue and was well laid out in terms of function and ease of use. Nelly Ayala: From the Hellyer stop sign I made a left and another quick left. Leads to a parking booth. Turning right you can go either straight and park near the jungle gym, playground and BBQ picnic area, OR you can go right and it will lead you to another parking area more towards the back of the park, where there are benches near the lake, trails to walk or ride your bike. I never payed attention to how nice this park feels. I used to love going to Alum Rock Park but I started getting a little scared of the wild life, mostly the Big Cats that seemed more frequent. Hellyer is also like a little water park, has restroom nearby. It was really beautiful. I didn't know the ambiance was so delightful. Lots of shade with a nice open space in the middle for kids to fly kites and play. I definitely would love to visit and explore more of this park. L.B. Calloway: I ordered online so I can’t speak for the store itself, but I ordered a peacock mantis shrimp from them a few weeks ago. They were one of the very few places I could find one. They were competitively priced. I called to double check that they had it in stock, since I’ve been burned before ordering from other places. They were communicative, and very helpful. The animal came in a good amount of water and big bag for its size, and I appreciated that. It arrived healthy and beautiful. It ate from tongs very quickly, and it’s doing just fine. Healthy and greedy.
