She's not just the glue that holds everything together, she is the savior pulling out last minute solutions to unforeseen events... like our DJ quitting 7 days before our wedding! Mandy had us lined up with a new DJ in less than 2 hours. As someone who has spent a decent amount of time planning events, I can honestly say she's better than anyone I have ever worked with in my life. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and the only thing I would change if I could go back in time and fix anything - would be to START the wedding planning process with her so that she could find all the best vendors. Tanner Geertsen: Working with Mandy for the past year has been an absolute pleasure! From the start, she was very responsive and we clicked right away. About a year out from the wedding we started meeting on a bi-weekly basis, this planning schedule along with her top notch organization skills led to a seamless planning experience up to the wedding. Mandy took care of everything and kept us schedule and in our budget range. The day of the wedding her associate and Mandy were on site early that day and took care of all aspects of setup and take down, and all the nitty gritty details in between. At the end of the day, she was a dream to work with and my husband and I miss our weekly meeting with Mandy!

She was our partner and guide through the whole process, from picking vendors to figuring out what color/font our allergy cards looked like. Her 30+ years in the industry shined through all aspects of her work. She was wonderful at taking us along the wedding planning journey which helped to minimize any stress we faced as the wedding couple. From day one she was a clear and consistent communicator and was entirely transparent about her services and process. Most importantly, on the day, both she and her assistant Melissa were fantastic—the wedding was perfect largely due to their silent hustling. When I left my bouquet in another room right before I was to head down the aisle? No problem – Melissa sprinted to get it and had it right on time. Guests were late? No problem—Tosca redirected with them quietly and with ease. Her pre-existing connections are responsible for our incredible caterer, florist, hair-dresser, and yet more – she knows this business, knows the bay area, and provides absolutely top-tier service. I can’t recommend her and her team highly enough!

She found all of the vendors, sorted through all of the contracts, and organized basically everything. As we began meeting with other reputable vendors, we realized that Tosca was highly respected and adored by all. Tosca is not just a seasoned wedding planner with over 20 years of experience under her belt. She is a fairy godmother that sweeps you off your feet and brings your magical wedding to life.We always planned to have our ceremony and reception at City Hall but due to the uncertainties of reopening without COVID restrictions, we opted to scramble for a new venue with less than 8 months from our wedding date. Tosca found us a beautiful outdoor venue in Woodside, CA which exceeded our expectations. She thoroughly reviewed our contracts and made us aware of certain caveats and the associated risks giving us the ability to make informed decisions.We are big foodies and enjoy hosting parties of our own and emphasized to Tosca that we wanted our guests to be stunned with hors d'oeuvres, entrees, dessert, wine/cocktail pairings, and presentation. Tosca understood our vision and we were thoroughly impressed with all of Tosca's vendor recommendations for catering, florists, bakers, entertainment, audio/visual, etc. Tosca was always available to every meeting and had a prepared list of questions for the vendors. She constantly provided feedback and recommendations to remain within our budget. On our wedding day, we had some unforeseen circumstances which would have delayed our wedding by 1 hour. However, Tosca was able to save the day by re-sequencing the schedule and we can't thank her enough for making our wedding day come true.We love you Tosca and look forward to working with you for future events!

When we had to pivot from a 150 person wedding at the Brazilian Room to an intimate 16 person wedding with a Zoom component, she pivoted gracefully and confidently, leading the way for us to feel that it would all come together beautifully. She worked wonderfully with my Zoom wedding coordinator, Lindsey Sachs from Collective/bySachs. Tosca provided me above and beyond service, responding to countless emails, texts, and phone calls--keeping me sane and still excited about the prospect of getting married in Covid times! She came to tastings with us, helped me recover a deposit from a vendor who refused to refund us when we had to pivot, and really leaned in to our Zoom wedding. Tosca and Melissa worked so diligently, coming to our new wedding venue multiple times to help with the tech rehearsal to make sure the mics and cameras were placed in a way that the Zoom audience could see and hear us! We had over 130 Zoom attendees from all over the US and 4 other countries! Tosca's attention to detail and level of thoughtfulness are incredible! Her placement of photos and signs on our gift table, ironing our linens, putting sweet succulents in our terrariums that I wasn't sure we would be able to use were just a few of the delightful details I saw at the wedding! Tosca's ideas of a personalized parasol for us and white parasols for all our guests as shade cover was just delightful! I had to convince my dad the cost would be worth it, and at the end, his highest compliment was that he apologized for ever doubting why we needed Tosca!!

Christine Roach: Hiring Chloe to plan our wedding was one of, if not the best, decisions we made throughout our entire planning process. On your wedding day, you think mostly about spending time with your new spouse, your family, and your friends, but you don't really realize how much of the wedding process and even the wedding day involves your planner. Luckily for me, Chloe felt much more like a friend than a vendor we had hired and my husband and I both turned to each other during our reception and said "Thank god for Chloe."One of the things that impressed me most was Chloe's versatility. We planned our wedding over the course of 18 months, so I was able to follow along with all the weddings that Chloe planned and put on during my own planning period, and I was floored at her ability to nail different aesthetics and produce something that always felt extremely polished and well done, but clearly true to the couple's vision. Danae Long: My now husband and I begin working with TDE early February 2023 for our wedding day on January 6, 2024. The early stages of my wedding planning experience prior to working with TDE was extremely chaotic. I would receive multiple emails a day and quite frankly, I lost track of who I was speaking with. My husband began looking for all inclusive packages and came across TDE.We had our introductory call with Otis and we were immediately drawn to the organization of the wedding planning style. SF Bay Area is extremely diverse and Otis learned about our Asian versus Westernized approach to the wedding. All staff had such a rich and thorough understanding of Chinese wedding traditions, which is extremely helpful for ABC’s in the Bay Area. For example, I told Francis many times that I want a half updo with my qipao, but she was persistent that Chinese brides have updos for the best look. I was anxious about time management, but she assured me that she will work with me so we have the best photos. I had my make up trial with her in March and she provided skin care advice for me to prepare for our big day!We also had the pleasure of working with Jackson, our MC who was able to cater towards my English and Cantonese speaking guests. Jackson was very flexible with our timeline, extremely approachable, and kept my guests entertained.We never met Jessica, but she plays such an important role in wedding planning! She is extremely prompt with email responses and thorough with all of your inquiries. She has strong communication skills within her team and keeps you on track of your wedding timeline.We did not meet our photographers and videographers until the day of. They were all extremely punctual and utilize their expertise to adapt to the environment and accessories I had available.Overall, I also appreciate that TDE staff are open to sharing their opinions. I had a circular backdrop but they advised us towards a different design when they realized there were high ceilings at my venue. TDE made wedding planning extremely smooth. I took a week off of work before my big day, but ended up going to work since it was fairly stress-free days before the event.I’m the first one my generation within my family to host a wedding reception and everybody had a wonderful time. Thank you TDE for your services, we can’t wait to recommend you to local friends and family.
Victoria Tong: . Jessica would always be on top of it and make sure that everything was done.On the day of the wedding, the setup crew arrived on time and did a great job with the wedding decoration. My husband and I and all of our guests were blown away by the job TDE did. Francis, our makeup artist for the day, truly went above and beyond. She did a great job with my makeup, and even assisted my husband with putting on his bowtie, cufflinks and corsage.Sam, our photographer, went above and beyond with all of the picture requests we had. We took so many pictures that by the end of the day I was “pictured out.” I didn’t even think that was possible. He brought his own equipment, lighting, and had all the tools needed for a professional photoshoot. It definitely was worth it.Lastly, Jackson our MC did a wonderful job with not only MC’ing the whole event, but assisted us with making announcements, directing the crowds, and was the officiant! Overall, TDE made the entire planning process much more straightforward and simple. We definitely recommend going with TDE for your one-stop-shop for wedding planning and day of event coordinating.
Tien Chang: and I were nearly at our wits' end with wedding planning when we stumbled upon TDE. We were tired of having to do the research of each vendor, sending back and forth emails for quotes, and doing this for photographer/videographer, florals, and more! TDE takes care of all these aspects, and more!Otis was very detailed with explaining the packages and cost breakdowns. Jessica, our account executive, maintained thorough and detailed contact with us throughout the many months leading up to the wedding. Vivi, my makeup and hair artist, was cheerful and did a very professional job, especially the foundation! Carina was an all-star as the day of coordinator, being extremely meticulous and made sure we were well hydrated all day. Sam was such a fun and creative photographer!! We just received our photos and he captured many wonderful and beautiful moments. Ethan was an easygoing videographer to work with.One of the major highlights was that I had a specific vision for how I wanted the arch design to be. I took reference photos from the Internet and shared with Jessica, who worked with the decor team to create mockups and share the iterations with me. The final design turned out *beautifully* with trailing flowers and leaves blowing in the light breeze on our wedding day!I'm so glad we went with TDE! It made the wedding day so special and stress-free. Thank you to the whole team that was involved!

Edward Huang: We purchased the entire package; photographer, videographer, makeup artist, flowers, backdrop, MC and DJ. The husband and wife team of Otis and Carina were good. Early in the negotiations, we were impressed with their knowledge and their pictures from previous weddings. At our first meeting, Otis showed us an extensive slideshow of their photography. He also took the time to explain the proper scheduling of a Chinese wedding. We had no idea how about any of these before meeting with him. We met with him for a good two hours, mostly just discussing wedding scheduling. Even though we were not guaranteed clients, he was very patient with all our questions no matter how strange. The photographer and videographer were very patient and professional when it came to posed shots with family as well as more "artistic" shots. They also make a couple jokes which make us less nervous in front of the camera. For MC, we will highly recommend Otis Fang to you. He is a local celebrity in San Francisco Chinese community. It seemed his reputation preceded him because many of the Chinese in attendance recognized him from his radio work. Needless to say, he had a few fans in the audience. He really worked the crowd. He also helped us with the timing of the schedule and came over to us to keep us informed. Everyone was pleased with his performance. He really kept the pressure off of us at the banquet.
Dixon Chau: TDE helped plan my sisters wedding and it was perfectly executed. The MC, Otis Fang, was just as advertised, incredibly humorous and professional. During the banquet, a groomsmen made a video for the newly weds which failed to play, but the team helped us fixed the issue last minute. All in all the team at TDE made the day a lot smoother for my sister and our family. Really thankful for them.

It would have been nice to have been able to collaborate with them beforehand so everyone would be on the same page.The whole decoration planning and designing was a very easy and painless process. My event was not in the same city where I live in, so we had to plan everything remotely. Everything was over the phone and via email and TDE responded instantly to our correspondence without delay. On the day of, the decorations were exactly what we had requested.There were also few things here and there that they had helped with towards the planning of our wedding.
