Max Gavin: Worked with Eric the owner on selling 1 bike to them and he was very transparent with how much he could buy it for. If you need a convenient and fast place to sell a bike I highly recommend working with SF Moto!
Matthew Furnish: If I could give 10 stars to SF Moto I would! I bought my Suzuki GSX S 750 from SF Moto in 2022 and I absolutely love the bike. From service to sales-everyone in the shop is dedicated to giving you the best experience. As a retail manager myself, I am always looking at the customer experience and from start to finish these guys know how to take care of their customers. Shoutout to Frank in sales who helped me get the bike, and Shoutout to Mike and Raju in service for keeping my bike in great shape- they all go above and beyond and I cannot thank them enough. MF
J Mardy: who said the helmet had been discontinued but he had looked for me and found a couple using the dealer network he has access to. He gave me the names of OTHER dealers who could help me. Lost one sale but gained a customer! Thanks man.
Om Prakash: good
Andrea Ruth: . That would be great, except their prices are too high.Update: I went ahead and bought a 2024 Honda Rebel 1100 here. The people were just too good not to. What I learned from them was more valuable than a few bucks off a bike.
steph barrett: is not good customer service. It's time to hire more staff, guys.I love this place
Jeremy Geiger: Huge selection, friendly service and some good sales on clothing too
Gabriel Araujo: ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Eduardo Martinez: which I also got at sf moto. Both Jin and Frank were great on getting me started with the bike I wanted. Eric made the financial part fast and easy. Big shout out to Francesco for providing me with very helpful knowledge and tips and making me feel like a valued customer. I also take the bike in here for service knowing Mike and/or Tom will be there to get the job done right.
david masterson: Great service! Techs are friendly and attentive to detail! Thanks and see you next time! Ride on!
Rodrex Thomas: love those guys
Chris Cullen: Showed up right at opening, for a battery needed on a scooter not carried by SF Moto: staff was super helpful in making sure we had the correct battery. Very comprehensive company selling name brand motorcycles. Service and parts center always on top of things. Great option in the heart of SF!
Christian Domingo: Great guys, tons of bike selection. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Andrew M: I've been coming here for 8+ years and it's incredible. They service my 2009 Buddy 150. Quick, great prices, super honest, never try to upsell you, really good work. Everything you'd want in a shop. Highly recommend!
Mehrzad M: MOST HONEST MOTORCYCLE SHOP IN SF!* Shawn has literally turned down business from me on 3 separate occasions because it wasn't necessary. A mechanic shop turning down $ for the sake of Honesty. For context, I am a beginner rider and have come into the shop 3 distinct times, convinced that my bike needed repairs and fully ready to hand over $ to get the issue fixed. And on all 3 occasions Shawn and his mechanic explained to me that the issue didn't require service or $.Shawn has always explained everything clearly to me and NEVER made me feel like an idiot no matter how basic my questions. He goes above and beyond to help his customers and always done it with the utmost level of professionalism.
Rahil Patel: it's more of a repair shop than a dealer, as the selection is tiny, I mean about 15 bikes total! Mostly sporty boy's bikes
Frisco415 California: Great people good prices support your local small business
Alexander Vichez: Today I bought an excellent quality tire and customer service !!! I will be a frequent buyer 🤜🤛
Jerry Lee: WOW! These guys are so nice! I got my handlebar grips, oil and tires changes done. Initially, I called CalSpeed Moto and that tech was probably the rudest guy I'd ever spoken to. I would NOT recommend going there. When I called ToMo I spoke to Sean and explained that I had stripped the bolt of my bar end. He was super nice and very understanding of my situation and patiently explained that sometimes these are a pain to remove on newer bikes and was very upfront about the cost. I decided to go through it anyway and the job ended up costing less than he originally quoted. Sean also told me that I needed new tires and showed me the amount of tread I had left. He told me it wasn't safe to ride on and suggested taking a Lyft home to think about moving forward with the service. I shopped around for some tires and it turns out that ToMo is very competitive with their pricing and will match online sellers like Revzilla and Cyclegear. Cyclegear will mount and balance tires but you need to unmount the wheels and bring them in yourself. Anyways I'm very glad I went with ToMo and I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone I know!
Julio: AMAZING 11/10!!!This place is seriously hella amazing. I've been to multiple motorcycle shops around the Bay and none come even close to Shawn's shop. The customer service skills are above and beyond, real friendly staff and owner, and hella helpful and considerate. They know their stuff and will even work with you if you need that extra help. If you're looking for a motorcycle shop that you can trust, look no further because Tokyo Moto SF is the best motorcycle shop I've ever been to.
Donald Baum: Best independent motorcycle shop in Bay Area. Shawn and crew care and know bikes!
Ken Capelli: Great repair, gear, and used bike shop - friendly employees and proprietor, nice selection of used bikes in solid condition, and a chill location.
Sam Glover: This was my absolute favorite place to take my bikes while I lived in SF. As a new rider I learned so much from everyone who worked here. Definitely miss you guys!
Mike Crum: Great shop super friendly staff and most importantly solid well priced work, will definitely be using these guys for my Japan bike needs

David “spafrancorchamps” Johnson: The Buddy brand lives here. The quality of the brand is good for the price. The prices are not monstrous. Barry and Austin are super nice. I recommend !
Ron Oliver: One of the all around best scooter shops for vintage and modern scooters. The owner is a class act, and you would hard pressed to find a better person. If you are in the market for parts, information, or a new or classic scooter come here.
Ken Marson: I have taken my 1980 Vespa P200e to Barry at SF Scooter Center for a few now and am amazed at the quality of work they do. I crashed my Vespa late last year and did some real damage so I took it Barry and they did such a great job that it looks better than it did when I first bought it. Nice friendly staff and Spark Plug too, the stores mascot... I will never go anywhere else, I highly recommend this place!
Madison Shirey: These guys are the best. They have been repairing and maintaining my 2 vespas for me for 4 years. I brought them my destroyed Vespa after it had been stolen and the recovered, and they did a great job finding parts and getting me back on the road as soon as possible and as cheap as possible. Most recently they saved me $700 when I broke my key and didn’t have a master key. They sent me photos of the chip that had fallen out of my key so that I could find it and they could clone it for the much much cheaper price of a simple spare key. You are in good hand with them!
Matthew Wong: Dude, I don't know what's wrong with your scooter. Maybe you don't have one and that's the problem. Whatever it is, these guys will do you right. Don't walk into one of those hoity-toity motorcycle places where they'll be like, awww, a scooter that's cute — no! Go see the dedicated scooter specialist guys at SF Scooter Centre. I needed a difficult and annoying repair done, I fully expected it to be a hassle, and these guys knocked it out like freakin’ champions in minimum time flat. And like that, I’m right back to slicing through SF traffic, mostly obeying traffic laws, and parking wherever the hell I want. Thanks Barry!
Dennis Labaria: Best place to buy a scooter! San Francisco Scooter Center has a great selection of scooters for every budget! Friendly service, knowledgeable staff, quick in-and-out, and reasonable prices! Ask for Barry!
Sunshine Jones: .We love SF Scooter Centre!San Francisco is so lucky to have these weirdos and to call them our own!Let’s Ride!
V Caselle: Barry and his team performed magic on my old scooter, sourcing rare parts and transforming it into a dream ride. Can’t thank them enough. 🛵🤩
Kara G: Highly recommend for anyone tired of scooter drama – these guys are the real MVPs - I stumbled upon this scooter repair shop like a lost puppy with trust issues, having been bamboozled elsewhere. These folks are like scooter whisperers; not only did they fix my ride, but they also mended my scooter shop trust issues. If you want straight forward scooter repair and to regain your faith in humanity, this place is the therapy your two-wheeled buddy needs.Thank you again!
April Jensen: I had the best experience with Barry from this wonderful shop. My scooter was stolen early yesterday morning. I sadly didn’t notice until around 11 am and after furiously searching my neighborhood by foot for 2 hours I could not find it and resigned to asking around. I reached out to a couple of scooter shops thinking the thief may try to sell it to someone. Barry replied asking for information to help identify the scooter. I went to bed last night having filed a police report and thinking its gone forever or will be recovered in shambles. However Barry emailed me this morning, the very next day, to let me know he found my scooter! He looked up my license plate number from his years of experience and found a brand new ticket on my scooter for 4:40 pm yesterday. By chance he looked at the address and saw it on Minna St. This street was familiar to him because it is literally in front of his shop. He decided to try and find my scooter and found it two blocks down still located where it was ticketed at. He thought and acted quickly by putting his own lock on my bike and emailing me that he recovered it. I was ecstatic and hurried to the shop where he walked with me and my husband to the scooter and removed his lock and gave the scooter a good look over to make sure it was not broken or tampered with. Everything looked good but to be on the safe side, he rode it back the two blocks to his shop and locked it back up so I could proceed to call SFPD and report the recovery and have an officer come out. I am so very thankful he went out of his way and did this for me. In the future when I buy a new scooter, I will be reaching out to Barry. Thank you thank you thank you!
Matt Biddulph: When my Niu EVO electric scooter started stalling with a Check Engine light, I brought it into SF Scooter Centre. As the local dealer for Niu, they were super helpful. They coordinated with the Niu US distributor to apply a set of recommended firmware updates. When that didn't work they obtained a replacement motor from the distributor and fitted it. Now my bike is back on the road.Throughout the repair they were communicative and transparent about the process. They were reliable and friendly, and their estimates were dependable. Would definitely use them again for any scooter problems or purchases.
Maria Bruno: and the whole process was quick and easy. Been back once for service and to add a seat accessory.
Timothy Dobbins: Bought my Buddy scooter here 12 years ago and they have taken great care of me and scooter all those years. Can't imagine going anywhere else now.
Eric Liu: Barry and crew kept my Buddy running strong over the 8 years I owned it. Great people and great service, every time.

Scott Laine: What an exquisite collection of vintage vehicles. You will pay a premium but they are all awesome hard to find classics.
mario mendez: Collectors specialty, vespa is everywhere and with more enthusiastic people using it for moving around the city they need a reliable trust able and connoisseurs there's no better place to come, also is a beautiful museum for all of us
Steve DeMartini: and was not reliable as far as drivability. Giovanni and his mechanic Nick took the car back to their shop, ordered parts and applied the necessary fixes at no charge, and delivered the car back to me in San Mateo. They told me to reach back out to them if the issue continues. This is a testament to Bello Moto's honesty and integrity when it comes to making sure their customers are happy and satisfied with their purchase and have a vehicle that is in the condition promised.

freddy Soza: Since I’ve been taking my scooter to Tiger Scooter Repair , they’ve been phenomenal they’ve been great they’ve been helping me they got good customer service. I like their personality and I do recommend a lot of people to actually take their scooters to them. They do a great job it might not be at the moment, but they will get it done and they will get it done correctly, when I needed my scooter to be worked on, I actually couldn’t find nobody and I search online website everywhere until I found them and they have done a phenomenal job with my scooter and I really appreciate it and I’m very happy with their job that they do and their punctuality. I personally know that I would recommend anybody to take their scooter there their electric scooter. They will do a phenomenal job. My name is Alfredo Soza and I know for a fact that they do a great job and I appreciate everything that they do and that’s why I keep bringing my scooter to them when there’s a problem.
Ricardo De Leon: I am super happy with these guys, if they know their job, I recommend them 100%, they fixed my scooter and it turned out excellent 👌
Casey: These guys have been my go-to mechanic ever since I bought my bike 5 years ago. Not only have they been able to figure out what’s gone wrong and get it fixed straight away, but they’ve also been an incredible resource. Whenever I’ve called them up to ask for advice, they’ve generous with their time and their knowledge. I’ve even dropped by a few times with something small to fix and they’ve sent me away without a bill. But when there is, their prices are fair and the best I’ve found in the city. I definitely recommend Tiger Scooter for your go-to mechanic too.
Iain McKelvey: I’ve replaced the front and rear tires on my Hiboy titan here. Fair price, quick turnaround.

George Moore: Excellent annual service on my year 2016 Piaggio BV 350. I'll be back again next year. Be careful while there though because they have a mind boggling collection of new European motorcycles for sale. My wife would have killed me if I had come home with one of them, like the new Triumph 400 Scrambler. Great shop!
Andrew Araujo: Drove all the way from Long Beach to purchase a bike here. Staff is incredibly helpful over the phone and at the location. They have a huge selection and are completely affordable. Whats best is they are willing to negotiate with you. 5 out 5 any first time riders I recommend or Trade in as well.
Stephen Lipp: Booked in Triumph Tiger 1050 for oil change, check over and new tyres as a half way check over from North Carolina and back. Great staff, service and updates. Good job guys.
Ryan Soliman: 3/20/2024 update: The Manager, Issa, upon reading my initial scathing review had the courtesy to contact me and inform me that he was very concerned with the review and caught off guard in regards to my purchase experience. Issa felt that it didn’t meet his standards and expectations for what a proper buying experience should be, especially with pre owned vehicle. He personally saw to it that his parts and service team ordered the exact parts that were damaged by Marin Speed Shop. I’m proud to say that the parts have come in, match, and restored the motorcycle to the condition it should’ve been when I originally purchased back in late 2022. I do highly recommend Marin Speed Shop/Hattar Motorsports also based on their honesty and accountability. Perhaps one day I will pick up a future Ducati or Triumph motorcycle next time I’m in the area. I also recommend that if there are ANY issues in regards to sales or service that cannot be resolved with non management staff, take it up with Issa and he’ll see to it everything gets sorted.Original review:Horrible customer service follow through! I purchased a pre owned 2020 Ninja 1000SX from them November 2022. The salesman disclosed to me that their service technician crashed the bike during a test ride after prepping it for sale. I understood that the left side fairings were rashed with road damage and that they “ordered” a replacement for said damaged piece. I was okay proceeding with the purchase as their contract was that they owed me a new left side fairing. I have tried following through, when time permitted, to see if my replacement fairing had arrived so they can fix what Marin Speed Shop had damaged. I kept getting the run around that it was “back ordered and will call when it arrives.” Well guess what?!!! It’s been 14 months and it still hasn’t arrived!!! I’m beyond pissed! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A VEHICLE OR DOING ANY FUTURE PURCHASES FROM THEM! They only care about selling their high end new Ducatis and Triumphs and will leave anybody who spends less than $30000 out to dry!!!
F Hamilton: High-quality people, bikes, and service. Triumph headquarters! The same can be said for the Ducati. Prolly the best used motorcycle selection I've ever seen in one location. Hondas to Harleys and everything in between. I'm so glad to have found them. Would recommend checking there before going anywhere else.
David James: It would be cool if they could do tire changes on any make model.
Theresa “T-Rexxx” Foglio: I was looking for a cute little grocery getter for when I don’t want to take out my Indian and found the Vespa Primavera Pic Nic 150 here. The service was amazing and professional. Alex made sure that it was Seamless from start to delivery. I highly recommend Marin Speed Shop, first class all the way.
alexander frith: Had a great experience buying a bike here, no pressure and relaxed atmosphere. Alex was my salesman and was great to deal with
Alex Capasso: My wife and I have purchased three bikes from Marin Speed Shop. Awesome sales and service staff. They also host group rides and gatherings at the shop - hoping to join in on one soon!
Z BC: Like this shop because they always have some events to let motorcyclists to enjoy. Today, I went here for Dave Moss adjust my Scrambler’s suspension. Then, I ordered some Scrambler’s accessories as well as took a landmark photo for my bike. Staffs here are friendly and helpful, it would be great if this shop could have a coffee corner for any motorcyclists stop by, enjoy a cup of coffee, relax and talk about stories with their motorcycles.
Rene Stolp: Cool motorcycle shop, with friendly helpfully staff and plenty of parking.
Shantanu Kongara: Recently traded in my motorcycle and purchased a used motorcycle from MARIN Speed Shop. It was a great experience. Shout out to Alex. He was great to deal with. We discussed my expectations regarding my trade in and the motorcycle I was interested in over the phone. I was able to come to the shop and demo the motorcycle while my trade-in was being inspected. We finalized a deal I was comfortable with there after. Zero pressure. This is how it's supposed to be. Thanks Alex.
whereiswilltoday: I went from having a stray thought about my next bike to sitting on the exact model I wanted in 15 days. Bryan had to source it from outside the area, but made the trade happen quickly/painlessly and for that I'm thankful.
Aaron Greene: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Alex was awesome to work with. Most important to me, both times I've purchased a bike from Marin Speed Shop their initial offers for my trade-ins have been very reasonable. They make the entire shopping/buying process easy and convenient.
