Heath Allen: I'm not one to write reviews, but when a store goes above and beyond I definitely feel the need to recognize the generosity. This past weekend I dropped my vape pen and unfortunately when it collided with my wood floors, the glass in the tank shattered. This happened on a Sunday and unfortunately the Vapory Shop was closed so I had to go elsewhere to find a replacement device. However, today I stopped in to purchase some liquid and while I was there mentioned that I had shattered the tank in my other device. The nice gentleman at the counter realized he had a defective device of the same type that he needed to send back and offered to give me the tank from the defective device for free since he couldn't sell it and replacement tanks were not available for sale. A very small gesture, but one that speaks volumes. This will continue to be my go-to source for all vaping needs based on this interaction alone.
Owen Mansfield: Supper friendly, knowledgable staff. Prices match online prices for everything I've gotten or asked about. Highly recommend this place for anybody with questions on any kind of vape-related product.

Bill Johnston: Good helpful people. I bought a vapor pen and it worked great for a couple months and then nothing but problems with it. They were very helpful and replaced a part for free. Still had problems with it. Found other places that are cheaper and as well supplied. They do have a good selection though.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, sharing with me and my group stories about the shop, the street, the neighborhood... and answering all our questions.
Ameyali Mexico City: A tobacco store in San Francisco is iconic, a good experience, they had a good variety of vaporizers.The girl who served was very kind to us and explained the story of Jimmy Hendrix to us.They also sold souvenirs at good prices, and it is also possible to access it with a wheelchair.

The staff are knowledgeable and kind. They are conversational without being pushy. Therey are 100% there to help you.The prices have always been reasonable. Not the cheapest in the bay but absolutely the best selection in berkeley. Furthermore i have NEVER walked out of Whelans feeling cheated or like i payed too much.Lastly, as we all know...it's not always a pleasant experience going into a glass shop in berkeley when you're a person of color. Often times, employees will follow you around and hover over you making their suspicion or outright disrespect clear. Not so at Whelans. Nobody is treated differently because of the color of their skin. I know because they were perfectly respectful and kind to my husband.At least stop by, i guarantee they will have something for you.
