Mathieu Pasques: Very goodPlace!

Dean Johnson-Rivera: Pretty good, which was all I was looking for.I agree, this place seeks like its best days are behind it, and my dish was inconsistent within itself. But, as someone very picky about Thai food, I was happy with what I got.Service was attentive enough. I was there alone for lunch, so that's what I would have wanted.I would go back.

Parvati Verma: Had a Pad Kee Mao, vegetarian style, and was absolutely blown away. Topped it off with a Mango sticky rice and that really hit the spot. 10/10 and would go again.Vegetarian options: Almost everything can be ordered as vegetarian style.

Keena Middleton: If you like Thai Food then search no further, this spot is among the top in the city when it comes to pad see ew for sure! I will have to return to try more and I’ll be back soon.Angel Wings to start and they were delicious! Crispy Outside with a not to sweet sauce with nice size juicy chicken wings.Pad See Ew for the entree and it was very good, huge portion. Chicken was very fresh along with the veggies and it wasn’t dry. Flavor was good.I will definitely recommend this Thai spot to others!Parking: A lot of paid street parking on the ave and surrounding streets. Some limited duration parking on Lincoln ave.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible but always call in advance for guaranteed comfort.

Shweta Bhagat: The thai food was very tasty and flavourful. The veggie pad kee mao and it had a lot of veggies and tofu. The spring fried rice was also pretty good. For appetizers we had imperial rolls and roti kanai. The roti kanai was not good as the roti was too oily. You will feel the aromas as soon as you enter which is amazing. The place is a little cramped up through with tables too close to each other. I would recommend for good food but not for a great ambience.

Yadnesh Samant: We dined at Marnee Thai and had a mixed experience. The ambiance was delightful. Convenient parking near Golden Gate Park added to the overall accessibility. We tried a variety of dishes, and while the Pad Kee Mao stood out with its delicious flavors, the Roti Kanai fell short. Priced at around $12, the Roti Kanai seemed overpriced for what was essentially a flour roti, and the portion size left much to be desired. On the positive side, the Imperial Roll and Fried Rice were delightful, contributing positively to our overall dining experience. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with some hits and misses, making it a place worth exploring for its strengths.Despite the inconsistency in dishes, the inviting ambiance and the flavorful Pad Kee Mao make Marnee Thai a contender for those seeking a Thai dining experience. However, improvements in the value proposition of certain dishes would elevate the overall satisfaction for patrons.

Daniel A.: I was craving for a good Pad See Ew, and this restaurant fullfill my imagination. It was just perfect, the vegetable had a bite to it and the meat was juicy, the noodles had the perfect chewy texture. I also ordered a Papaya Salad the heat Level was perfect as I ordered it. I will come back here for sure. There was really nothing I can complain about.

Sergio V: My girlfriend recently brought me leftovers from here. I’ve been to at least 20+ Thai restaurants and can say with confidence that the food and quality were absolutely the best… even if it was a bit cold when I ate it. Extremely flavorful and will be going here more often!Food: 5/5 …

Angad Bedi: !! Definitely recommend.

Nikita: The food here is so good! It definitely tastes very fresh and unique compared to other Thai restaurants. To start we got both vegetarian and chicken Tom Yum soup and they both tasted different- which tells us they are not just using stock broth. The Pad Thai was both sweet and spicy and the Thaglor curry was so good! While the restaurant is a tight squeeze it’s clean and they provide excellent service.

Alejandra Sandoval: I loved this placeNot only is the food delicious but so is the service.

Jean Tu: Came here for lunch on a Saturday at 12PM since that's when they open and I was surprised to see that there were a lot of other people also there that had reservations. I don't think the reservations were necessary because there was plenty of seating, but it could be worth making a reservation if you're looking to sit outside. As a party of 3, we were able to get patio seating without much of a wait, we just had to wait for them to finish setting up the patio. The food was actually really good. I didn't have high hopes for the place, but all of the food was pretty good. We ordered the papaya salad, pumpkin curry, Osha's Tom Yum Noodles Soup, and the Khao Soi beef short ribs. To my surprise the pumpkin curry had some spice to it.I’d return to try other items off their menu!

Jitlada Ninlahat: We decided to come here to honor my husband's birthday. The restaurant exuded a delightful ambiance, and very clean. Our server, appropriately named Best, truly lived up to her name. She was exceptional, offering fantastic suggestions, maintaining a polite demeanor, and always serving us with a warm smile.Frank, another server, also stood out with his exceptional service. The location is convenient, with parking available underneath the building. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nick Gavin: as well as the green curry dish. We ordered them hot, but if you like spicy food I recommend getting it Thai spicy and getting the full flavor of the dish. I can’t say enough about how bright and tasteful the food was and my tongue is still reminiscing this place as I write about it. A must try. Mic drop.

Tom Messick: Excellent cocktails! Coconut curry dumplings, chicken satay with toast and peanut sauce and Tom Yum soup are all outstanding!

Alisa B.: Really good quality Thai food, but expect the prices to be more expensive than usual. This location is very aesthetic and beautiful inside. Great ambiance and friendly customer service. Has a more high-end feel to it - being located next to The Ferry Building. My favorite dish here is the Pork Belly Noodles! This is a specialty item on their brunch menu. Imagine Pad Thai, but elevated with bok choy, crispy pork, and a runny egg. Soooo delicious! Flavored perfectly. Highly recommended. The Pad See Eaw is also pretty good here. Not too salty or oily. Just right. I like that they give a lot of noodles and don't skimp on the ingredients. I do wish it was slightly sweeter though.Their cocktail menu is pretty impressive. They are generous with the alochol ratio. Pretty strong! But the drinks are still very enjoyable and pretty. Very fun for a meal out with friends.

Britt: I am not a Thai food fan but my wife is. So we looked forever for a place that checks the box for both of us. Sai Jai Thai is that place. Their fried rice is amazing, the Sai Krok Isaan is perfection and the pad Thai is probably one of the bests I have had.Food: 5/5 …

Alice Hou: We recently dined at Sai Jai Thai Restaurant and had a mix of experiences. The Mieng Come appetizer was a burst of flavors with shallot, ginger, peanuts, lime, and dried shrimp, though the chili was notably spicy. The Pad See Ew, while tasty, could have been more flavorful, but the BBQ Pork Shoulder Fried Rice stole the show. The BBQ pork shoulder over egg fried rice with onions was simply delicious. The sauce was a perfect blend of sour and spicy, opening up the appetite, and the fried rice itself was seasoned to perfection.

puneet lahoty: The curry wasn’t sweet, had no sugar. Usually most places cater their curries to local palettes and add sugar, which is not how traditional curry is like in Thailand. I was looking for a place that has the authentic flavors not diluted by adding sugar. This one is that

Joey Katigbak: Been here a few times and was always happy with the experience. A Vietnamese friend introduced me to the place and we always come here for our Thai food fix. We especially like their pork fried rice, crispy fish and pad see ew. Every new thing we try gets added to that list plus all the regular offerings like Pad Thai, etc. It's a small mom and pop shop you wouldn't know was there unless you specifically looked for it. It's clean, albeit can use a fresh coat of paint. But that's not what you would go here for. The service is good and the staff are friendly. I always give them a thumbs up.

Usha Aluru: We went to celebrate graduation here with friends! It’s pretty empty and service was slow. Just 2 people running around for everything. We ordered cocktails which were ok, nothing great. Food came in quickly. Roti dip, chicken satay, knockout wings, crispy roll Appetizers were good. Main course we ordered spicy but the dishes came in with extreme spicy that we couldn’t eat. The mango sticky rice was ok with sour and raw mangoes. We will not be coming back here anytime soon.

Kai C: Great food, beautiful decor, tasty Thai dishes with modern a twist. There are only two servers on the Friday night that we visited. Kudos to them but the service is quite limited with used dishes started piling up right at our table. Had Tom yum soup, crab Rangoon and basil chicken. Tom yum is excellent but you'll need to like it on the spicy side. If you are in the Polk Street neighbor, you should give this place a try! 🎉🙌🏻🤩

Raul Anthony (Xxenial Hair Studio): I got there at 11:30 AM. There were already people waiting outside. The server was very sweet and kind and he made some great suggestions. I had the pad Thai with duck and it was absolutely delicious and the food came out really fast. I had a little side of pork belly that was also delicious crispy And not dry. I would definitely go again. The four stars for atmosphere is just nitpicking because the cushion on the bench were pretty worn out and a little bit uncomfortable but the food and service were amazing.

Chloe: I recently dined at Thai Spice for dinner and had another amazing experience! We ordered the Pad Thai, Egg Plant Basil, and Roti Dip, which were served alongside delicious yellow curry paste. The pancakes were crispy, tender, and had the perfect stretchiness to them. The Thai-style eggplants were also a hit. This was my second visit to Thai Spice, and the food has consistently been exceptional. The ambiance is elegant, and since we went early in the evening, it was a quiet and pleasant dining experience. The servers were friendly, although they didn't check in very frequently. Overall, I highly recommend Thai Spice for delicious Thai cuisine in a lovely setting!"

Shweta Vetal: and tasty Drunken noodles made our day.The service was very quick. Decor is very cute and subtle. The place is small and crowded. Not suitable for peaceful gatherings but the food is absolutely worth the chaos. There is atleast 15 min waiting time on weekend dinners.

Aastha Goyal: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes

Nora Hemm: I love ocean Thai. Always have whether it's pickup, dine in in the past for me or now delivery for me, I have always loved their service. I have had to call in to ask specific questions and they are always helpful and friendly. And to put it bluntly, the food is BOMB.Try the larb salad if you haven't already.

Yash Jetwani: , it was good, nothing special but reliable.Food: 5/5 …

Jami Moysh: From out of town and was looking for something other then dim sum or Chinese so we thought we would give Ocean Thai a try and it was well worth it. The food was very flavorful service was great and the atmosphere is very homey. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for something different. The pad Thai was the best we’ve had but the curry was very tasty.

Mary Griggs: and great presentation and taste. Quite a good meal. Definitely recommend.

Mike Chiu: First time trying this spot and I came during lunch time. It’s a spacious restaurant but somehow it feels kind of cozy. I ordered the two item lunch combination which comes with a side of Tom kha soup which was flavorful and aromatic, perfect for the cold weather. For the two items I got their grilled bbq chicken which came with two drum sticks that were marinated in primarily lemongrass, I thought the flavor was okay, the portion is on the smaller side and I wish they charred it more. The other item I got was the sliced beef in a salty savory sweet marinade, this one had a much more bolder flavor which goes perfectly with the fried rice they give you. I think for the amount of food you get it is a little pricey but I was satisfied overall.

Know Having-Fun: 1st visit. Stopped in before a nearby meeting. First thing I hear are the Grateful Dead is gently playing. Terrapin Station.Ordered the Pad Thai shrimp. Came quick, tasted delicious!

weidong liu: Food tastes on the sweet side.Does anyone know what this water pipe wall means?

Be Like Neel: One of the fancier Thai restaurants in the city! Lovely ambience with chic decor. We ordered Drunken Noodles which was spicy - definitely must try. Also tried the thai fried rice and the spicy eggplant - also highly recommended. The eggplants were soft, slightly spicy but also had a hint of sweetness. I think the best part was the whole coconuts that they serve. Priced on the higher end at $8.5 a piece, it is definitely expensive but worth it. I personally love Thai coconuts and have recently been addicted to the coconut water by Harmless Harvest. If you like this coconut water, these are thai coconuts and are also being served by Farmhouse Thai Kitchen. I loved it so much that I ended up ordering 2 coconuts. The coconut meat was soft and tender and went perfectly to mellow things down after eating the spicy drunken noodles

Patrick Squire: Quirky, fun, great food. Higher end. Nice gluten free options. Good date night. Unique interior.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options

Carey: The best Thai restaurant in Bay Area so far! Foods were delicious. Reasonable prices in terms of big portions. Nice decorations. Spacious and clean. Great service. Noy is super friendly and talkative, he made our dinner more fun!We always try to avoid having a dinner in South San Francisco because parking is tough in the neighborhood. But we will definitely come back because of this restaurant.

Connie L.: Great food and atmosphere. I ordered the red curry and it was fantastic. My partner ordered the spicy catfish and that was also delicious! We also shared the mango sticky rice and would definitely recommend that for dessert. Just want to note that only specific dishes come with rice, and that those items are noted in the menu.Parking: Limited paid street parking is available as well as paid lots and parking garages.Kid-friendliness: This is a family friendly restaurant. High chairs and boosters are available.

CHARLES JARRETT: My sister comes here all the time and she invited me the food was great I am going to bring some of my friends there soonWheelchair accessibility: It's on the first level you're very easy access

Lance Mellon: Very good

Cari Campbell: salmon green curry was delicious and the eggplant was surprisingly amazing, I dont think ive ever thought about eggplant and it was so good absolutely delicious

Kevin Davila: Recommended by a friend, he told me their Thai time wings, gra pow or ka prow are addicting, but i decided to get their Green Fried Rice. I was not disappointed! Don’t know if all their portions are like their fried rice but they gave so much, that i only ate half of it for lunch & the other half for dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back to this place to try their other dishes! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Thai Food.

Christina S: Be prepared no more dine in. They are take out only now. Makes sense as it has a small space. Still love coming here.

Enrique Schmitt: The Tom Yum soup was delicious, I also good the drunken noodles which were good but I didn’t really like that they used dried basil flakes instead of fresh basil. However it seems like this place is family owned and operated so let’s support them.Recommended dishes Tom Yum …

Deep S Singh: Its great food i always going to miss this place as i heard due to some reasons mama told they are closing this location . Good luck mama for new chapter of life

Yohan Lejosne: Great food and great service, every time.

Christian Soto: Stop looking, eat here

Peter: Amazing pad kee mao!!!Note: There is no public restroom here. Please don't feel so supremely entitled that you refuse to simply take no for an answer, and instead berate the always pleasant woman at the register when politely asked to use the nearby public restroom on Stanyan. If you do this, don't be surpised if other guests take exception to your verbal abuse of staff leading to you being embarrassed in front of your date as a direct result of your own petulance 😊.

Ted On State: Bangkok Street is fantastic! The Wagyu Street Rice and Green Beans with Crispy Pork Belly are my favorites. The Mango Sticky Rice is just like in Bangkok. The service is very good, and the new renovation looks great. Love this place! The Pad See Ew, the Green Curry, and the Fish Cakes are great here as well!Kid-friendliness: Cute plate setting for kids

Jack Hammang: I had the Thai eggplant basil with tofu and a side of rice. It was super tasty. No on read here at 12 on a Sunday which was surprising, but that meant better service for me. Was only there for about 30 mins. Inside has a bunch of american thai ads from the 60s.Vegetarian options: They have several vegan options, I had the eggplant basil 👍👍

Ken Tien: Food is good, but service is meh - that's how you know the food is good.

Mrunal Gandhi: Food is amazing and flavorful but the portion sizes feel like they have decreased since their recent rebrand.Ton of vegetarian and vegan options if you ask for no fish sauce, oyster sauce, and shrimp paste.

Jessica Marie Gutierrez Guzman: Hidden gem I’m just upset I forgot to take pictures. Everything we had was amazing. Even their hand sanitizer was the high quality one. We had Thai ice teas that were so delicious. My husband wanted shrimp tempura but they don’t have any, so she told him to get the crispy shrimp rolls. My husband couldn’t believe it was better than tempura. We had the pad Thai which was Level 10. The pork fried rice also excellent. We ordered a beef noodle soup but we were too stuffed to eat it. Definitely 👍 give this place a try. They must have had like 10 door dashes while we were here. They also have a section of Laos food with all the well known dishes. Give it a try! You won’t regret it. Give Ashley a high five 🖐️ She’s charismatic and friendly.

Lars Hartmann: Great service and food. I had the spring rolls as a starter and the red curry 🍛 with tofu as a main. 🌱 The curry has a nice, mild spiciness to it which is not too hot - just perfect. Location is not ideal as a walk-in during the evening but I never had issues with it.Recommended dishes …

Victoria P.: Tycoon has been my go-to place for delicious Thai food 3 years now. The quality and taste of their food has been consistent and I know that I will enjoy my meal every time I order here.I usually go back and forth with the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. The Pad Thai has the right amount of tanginess from the tamarind that I enjoy. The Pad See Ew has deep soy sauce flavor. It’s hard to choose sometimes which one I want.I’ve also had their fried chicken with fried rice and chicken noodle soup. The fried chicken with fried rice, that comes with a sweet and sour sauce, is really good and not that greasy. The chicken noodle soup is comforting on a cold day.I’ve also had their Laotian noodles and grilled chicken rice plate. The Laotian noodles come with a lot of veggies and the grilled chicken is a healthier alternative to the fried one without skimping on flavor. As for desserts, I’ve only had the mango sticky rice and it’s a yummy way to end any meal you get there.Service is fast and friendly. They do a lot of takeout orders but they manage to get orders done in a timely manner. The atmosphere inside is casual with a few tables for indoor dining.I’m so glad that Tycoon has survived the pandemic. If you’re in the Tenderloin and want delicious and affordable Thai food, definitely check Tycoon out.

Lucas Meaux: I come here all the time. It's definitely my favorite local joint. My favorite is their pineapple fried rice with a yellow curry, but I also like their Pad Mee Lao.Would also recommend their Papaya Salad if you're looking for something that is simultaneously very hot and very sweet. Pretty addictive imo. This place is diamond in the rough.

Allan Ng: Ordered on door dash. The food was pretty solid; we ordered the Pad Gra Tiem, thai Omelette and Kra Dook Moo Tod.The fried spareribs with the sweet and sour sauce was delicious. The beef and the omelette were more on the ordinary side but still tasty.

Sara Strzok: . Friendly and thoughtful service.

Daria Temciuc: Very nice place with veryyyyy tasty kitchen. If you like tai hood this place is for you. The portion is big ❤️
