Sarah D: A gem on Irving Street, where the competition for good Chinese is fierce, this restaurant stands out. Amazing Chongqing xiao mian, fresh in every possible way. Clean but homey atmosphere, with an employee taking advantage of the lull to trim green beans on a free table. Great value as well. Already making plans to go back with a fellow lover of spicy cuisine.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Dan Dan noodles
Rob Grande: Really spicy, really great flavor!
Wilson Tsang: TLDR: nice lingering spice of tasty food with good service! We ordered the fried fish with chilis in Ainu wok and that was fantastic! The spice is more numbing than burning but it is very spicy to me still! We also ordered the braised pork belly and that was a nice balance to the meal. They also provided us with free sweet and sour soup which was a nice start to the meal. Come check it out if you’re looking for a nice spice and northern Chinese cuisine
SamisTina Samara: its good and friendly but i think they precook some of the items . Portions are really good too.

Nishant Gupta: Top notch Sichuan flavors. Very nice staff as well. Must try salt n pepper tofu and fried rice. Their house chilli oil is amazing as well.
Malte Isberner: . The one dish that didn’t impress was the twice-cooked pork. Flavors were okay, but the quality of the meat wasn’t so great, and pork belly with that high amount of fat would be much better if it were crispier.Still, amazing meal, and lots of stuff that on the menu that I look forward to trying next time!

Jeb Chrisman: Excellent food and ordering experience! I was really impressed by the digital menu, it was so user friendly and I could write note of my allergies for them too! Besides that the food is really good, granted it is a bit catered for the modern American palate compared to 100% authentic Szechuan food but it’s plenty spicy for me.TLDR this is a great modern dining experience for anyone craving chinese/szechuan food!Vegetarian options: Menu is very user friendly and clearly labeled, and you can note dietary restrictions for the chef too!
Corina Lange: This is a great place to go with a large group and order several dishes to share family style. All the food came out pretty fast, and everything we ordered was delicious, especially the chili fried chicken and fish fillets in hot chili oil. They have a pretty efficient system at this restaurant. Like many places, you scan a QR code to view the menu and order. However, instead of paying online, they still bring you a physical check and have you pay in person.I was impressed by this place and recommend it to anyone wanting good, authentic Sichuan food.
Stewie Jennings: Absolutely fantastic spot. The scallion pancake was unlike any I've had before with a flaky and crispy top that gave way to a lightly chewy center. The honey walnut prawns were perfectly cooked and coated in probably the best version of the sauce that I've ever had. The dan dan mien was full of spicy, umami and rich flavor due to the not too oily sauce and topped to the brim with pork. This place was way better than I anticipated and honestly one of the better deals on this style of Chinese I've come across in the city given the atmosphere and service. I've got it marked down in my good food list and will be coming back again, as it ended up being a fantastic date night spot.
Li: Some food are tasty Sichuan style stir-fried lamb, farm stir-fried pork and house milk tea is also good.Food: 4/5Recommended dishes …

Christopher Chung: Currently, the best Sichuan encountered in San Francisco — perfectly spicy, numbing just enough. An elegant balance in mala resulting in a near bottomless appetite that can last hours.Tan Tan Noodles, gets the mala to sesame proportion just right. Spicy Beef Tendon, an excellent cold appetizer for those adventurous in texture. Cumin Lamb, comforting, savory and flavorful. Sichuan Roasted Whole Fish, crispy fried then served in bubbling mala broth, buried under chilis and lotus root. Chonqing Chili Chicken, however, not a strong suit. The private dining room in the back — a treat. Portrait view of green garden stone landscape, impressive.
Zherui Xie: The proprietress is very enthusiastic. The boiled beef in this restaurant is one of the most authentic boiled beef I have ever tasted. In addition, their rice steamed pork tastes exactly the same as Sichuan steamed pork. As a Chengdu native, I really miss the taste of my hometown. I even shed tears after eating the taste of this store. This is really the taste of my hometown.

Angad Bedi: Szechuan chicken
Fabs Guts: The restaurant is very busy, which, in addition to the Michellin recommendation, makes a good impression. The food was tasty, the service was quick. The service fee is debatable, we found it quite high…
Grace Tong: Despite having Michelin awards, the food was honestly just mediocre to me.Additionally, the wait line system was not explained clearly. When we first entered, they asked us to wait outside. After we came back in 30 minutes, they said we should write our name down and wait for another 30 minutes. So, we ended up waiting about an hour to get to a table, which we had to share with others. There is a mandatory 18% service charge along with a 4% SF Employee mandate, and they still asked for a tip. Just no, lol.
Victor Yates: Food was impeccable, the only thing that wasn't excitingly flavorful was the tea which was to be expected. The staff did a tremendous job of serving us amazing food. The actual service was a tad bit slow, however if you don't worry about that then I highly recommend this place. If I was in the area, I would immediately return. Whether you have kids or not, for AMAZING Chinese food this is the place to be.Dietary restrictions: Whatever your need, I'm sure they would be flexible per your request. If unsure, call before hand.Parking: It's downtown so I would park at the closest parking garage then mosey on over.Kid-friendliness: They did an excellent job of serving our children and we had a lot of them.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for entry and exit of restaurant.

Dane Best: Not the biggest menu, but certainly an amazing restaurant.Staff were overly friendly.Fried rice was really great. Would come back for the atmosphere + rice alone.Edit: The other food didn’t look as good, admittedly… but in the middle of the day, there was no smell that the other reviewers spoke of. Seems to be more of a delivery place for locals, so if dining in, it may be a better experience than some of the dishes that made their way out.
Ziping Liu: Overall good, not tasty enoughRed List: Saliva Chicken
Pamela Vong: If you like spicy sichuan food and know what dishes to order, then you would like this placeFood: 5/5 …
FoodExplore: was our favorite by far.Portions are big! Beware that the food tastes better fresh in person.
