Amy Higgins: Beautiful venue. It can be a bit noisy when even half full. The service is attentive yet we still need to ask a few times for things. We were a large group, so that’s completely understandable. The food is delicious. Some dishes are perfect for sharing while others are individual works of art. I kinda wish all the dishes were for family style - could add to the upscale comfort style.

Nicole Zhou: Good: 1. There is a lot of food, so if you are hungry you can get really full. 2. The service is good. 3. The ingredients are fresh and good quality.Bad: 1. This is Asian fusion food that I think unfortunately not comparable to authentic Chinese cuisine or a top notch sushi place. The dishes look fancy with nice ingredients, however, are made with less layers of tastes, mediocre cooking skills, and dominant salty sauces. I personally think the food can have a bit of more innovation and preserve the tastes at the same time. 2. The inside of the restaurant is a bit dark and furfinshed with minimalism styles, which feels nothing much to look at.
JC Marin: but more the substance and ethos of his craft and use of textures and intricate flavors. The entire staff were a delight to us during our time, which simply added to the overall experience.

Melanie Panergo: Such fond memories here, sad to hear they closed. Back in 2016, COI was under different management so we had a different experience compared to those who visited towards its closure. This was actually my first “fine dining” experience. It might actually still be one of the most artful presentation of courses I’ve ever seen.
Wendi: Delicious and every dish was well thought out. Courses consisted of mainly seafood harvested from local areas. Pre fixe menu only. Tea pairing goes nicely with meal.
Terrance Womack: A legendary restaurant with a team that is more like an orchestra working in perfect harmony to achieve perfection for each guests unique experience.
Kristy Carpentier: Absolutely delicious!
Diem Nguyen: Delicious 😋
Sara Al-Zanki: Loved the food. The chef was amazing and quite humble I had some dietary restrictions and so he changed a complete dish just for myself which I thought was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for the lovely experience.
lou mi: served in winter. Not only did he change chefs last year During the "dangerous period", Coi retained its two-star Michelin position and received another star this year, making Coi the seventh three-star Michelin restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area.
M F: We had a great time here. Quality of the food wasn’t bad at all. Portion is small but enough for a light dinner. Good selections of wine.

Adam Vieira: Of course it was delicious, why wouldn't it be? It was a unique experience with the field guide notebook menu and nostalgia centered experience. The 5th star comes from the service. Not only was it the best, most comprehensive service I've ever received, but after the meal I was given tips and recommendations about the neighborhood, and later in the night I randomly ran into a couple of the chefs at a bar and they recognized me and made references to specific events from the meal earlier in the day and were generally extremely nice and funny and friendly, even after they were required to serve me. Wonderful experience all around. I would recommend it to anyone.
Squirrel Friend: Lazy Bear is another amazing dining experience in San Francisco. The menu offers a woodsy flair with foraged ingredients. Interesting and unexpected flavors such as pine are incorporated really well into the menu. The seafood is handled expertly. It is also a great place for lamb/mutton lover as two types of really delicious lamb chops are served for main protein. Desserts are exceptional especially the blueberry course. The draw back is that couple dishes are heavily salted for my taste, for example the butter course. Wine pairing is great. I really recommend the Yquem flight for the dessert. The Yquem sommelier is very knowledgeable and fun to chat to if you love Yquem. Service is top notch. As a solo dining guest, I really appreciate that the staff keep up with my pace and did not make me sit through 2-3 hours for dinner. Overall, this was quite an unforgettable dinner for me.
isabelle C: The food is here amazing start to finish. The desert is was so delightful. I loved all the food here and when I went, there were a lot of fish dish and all of them were great. It was rich in flavor but still not heavy. The staff makes you feel comfortable. The service is amazing because they are not stiff and yet make you feel very attended. The atmosphere is fun like dark cabin in the mountains like cozy and grand. I will for sure come back in the future.
Rachel Bonifacio: Staff are so friendly and quirky, it's fun and casual, not a snobbish restaurant at all. The food is unforgettable — great presentation, interesting stories about the ingredients, taste chemistry was really good! I got the non alcoholic pairing and that was amazing. It's one of the best Michelin star restaurants I've ever been to.
Jeff Sharp: OMG. This was my best dining experience ever. Not only because of the amazing menu. The service was absolutely amazing, and the staff was so friendly and happy to share information about each dish and glass. This was an extremely special night for us and we will be looking forward to visiting on other special occasions in the future!!!

Millicent Miles: , but no lack of service!! Kudos to our server, Eli, who was outstanding and ensured that we enjoyed everything 100%...Started with cocktails, then on to appetizers... Burgundy escargot and Little Gem Salad. Originally from VA, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered a Soft Shell Crab!! It was delicious and prepared exquisitely! My friend had the pork chop, and we ended the evening by sharing a slice of carrot and mint layer cake, coffee, and an espresso. It was a great ending to a lovely day!!
Isaac Smith: for quality and volume.Service was also excellent! We were never low on water or drinks, and always felt very well taken care of.Dessert was incredibly rich — almost uncomfortably so, so I wish that portion was slightly smaller, but it fits with the sort of vibe they have.
Jim Fawcette: Excellent service, very good food, in a nice setting along the waterfront with some tables having a view of the Bay Bridge. Despite the packed house every one of the staff were friendly, helpful, tremendous team. One of us, a visitor from Tokyo, left behind a gift for his grandson. The restaurant took it to his hotel. Amazing. We had a four course meal, and all five of us enjoyed each item. Sea Bass was very good, Ahi Carpaccio was excellent. Good wine list & countering a current trend, a good selection by the glass. Nice interior with curved ceiling whose tiles come from when the building survived the 1906 Earthquake.Parking: If you get there early, there is "License Plate Metered" parking right out front. Garages are a bit of a walk.
Sophie Eliades: . The wine was also wonderful. One of the nicest experiences we've had in a while. Thanks to everyone involved!
