BELIN ALIX: We stopped by for a coffee, a real espresso!!! Excellent taste and “normal” size for French peopleThe price remains expensive for $5 without taxes.

Pablo Lo Giudice: Had a blast at La Mediterranee with a couple of pals recently! This Greek spot is a real gem – the food's straight-up delicious, with big portions that definitely hit the spot. Everything tasted super fresh, like a mini-holiday to Greece on a plate. The crew there? Top-notch. They were on the ball, dishing out recommendations that were spot on, making us feel right at home. And the vibe? Perfect for hanging out with friends. It's cozy, welcoming, and just the right kind of lively. In short, La Mediterranee nails it if you're up for great Greek food, plenty of it, and a chill spot to catch up with friends. Totally recommend giving it a go.

Alena: Recommended dishes Turkish Manti, Fattoush D, Spiced Beef Dumplings

scott key: Kid-friendliness: Not really a kid place, but I'm sure you would be well served on the patioWheelchair accessibility: Accessible

Brooke: I worked with the Barcha events team to coordinate a large team dinner. Our group size kept growing and they were friendly and accommodating! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was friendly and quick. Thank you to Constantine, Dash, and the entire team for a fantastic experience! I will definitely be dining at Barcha again next time I'm in town!

Iris Caldwell: I recently attended an event at Barcha, which is located in downtown. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor garden area and offers a pre-fixed shared menu. I was impressed by the variety of dishes that were served during the event, including Moroccan cigars, beef dumplings, roasted cauliflower, Fattoush salad, strip steak, salmon, vegan plate, and pistachio baklava. The food was delicious and had a perfect balance of meats and veggies. The service was also excellent. I would definitely recommend Barcha as a great dining spot.

Justine Isbell: This restaurant is a gem among many well-known, chain eateries. La Marsa’s menu blends Tunisian flavors with impeccable presentation and flavor. The lamb and braised short rib were nothing short of perfection.Dine in: Yes …

Bo Shizzle: Wonderful!!! The food was fantastic! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend!!

Matt Hawk: This was a great place for dinner after seeing Harry Potter at the Curran. The dining area is small, so I'd recommend a reservation. We had a party of 9 and everyone loved the food. The lamb fell right off the bone!

Wendy Hiller: Amazing! We were looking for a place to eat before seeing a play across the street and La Marsa won. The atmosphere is awesome and our waiter was funny and super helpful. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Bilel Bouraoui: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes

Malabika Mishra: This place is absolutely fantastic . We tried the chicken tagine and the Chreime which were both delicious. They have marsawa on the drinks menu which looked very interesting- made with hibiscus liquor and did not disappoint at all ! As a dessert person I had to try both the baklava and the orange blossom creme brulee and even though I know I have a second stomach for desserts , I ate way more than I could have simply because they were mouthwateringly good. The ambience is amazing, the owner is great, and food is unbeatable. Definitely worth the price . Would come back 1000/1000

Roger Blandon: Amazing service! Great way to be introduced to Tunisian food. Best Baklava in SF by far.Dine in: Yes …

Yogesh Goel: Great food. Had early dinner. Super friendly chef. Had chicken stew-good balanced flavors

Ankur Shrivastava: Amazing food, the host was also very friendly. She was very good in explaining how the dish would taste like that helped us in deciding how we wanted the items. Definitely recommend this place, would go again if in that area. There is only street parking, so consider that before going there. We ordered chicken shawarma wrap, Lamb plate amd falafel on sides.

Brett Turner: I love Mediterranean food. So clean, flavourful. Will definitely be eating there again

Chloe S: Delicious falafel, dolmas, pita and lamb and beef shawarma! Really sweet customer service as well

Matt Easton: , but it was a bit bland and not as puréed as we expected

Commentator: I attended this restaurant with a group last February to celebrate a friend's concert. The lamb, beef, bread, and vegetables are of high quality. It is on the pricier end, but most items are reasonable. The entire is clean and is a work of interior design craftsmanship.

Coquito Co: Dining at Dunyā tonight has been the highlight of my week—a delightful distraction. The cuisine surprised me with its flavors, complemented perfectly by the wine selection. The attentive servers enhanced the experience, and the ambiance, along with the soothing music, left me feeling utterly relaxed. The Mix Meze Plate was a standout, each vegetable bursting with flavor and delicacy. And the tender lamb, paired with a delectable sauce, was a juicy revelation. The Moca coffee with Dunyā are same owner . Take a cup of coffee and step on next door, we spend half day here .Highly recommend ! We will come back again !

Margaret and Kevin B: were sat at the same time as three larger parties

Jean-Marc Ly: Delicious cocktails here, made by the lovely Sophie. Worth drinking here. Great crew.Service: 5/5 …

Nicole Lokey: Honestly this was a bit of a disappointment. The atmosphere was extremely noisy, the service for a party of 12 spending a lot of money was not impressive and the food was mediocre. Steak was hard to chew, fish was overcooked, and dessert was marginal. The highlight was the brussel sprouts. With so many other choices in the area I would pass on this one.

Robert Wu: . The Brussels sprouts and crab dip are a 5 for me.I personally really enjoyed the paella since I enjoy my paella with meats, but flavor wise, it wasn’t one of the top tier paella I’ve had. Pork chop and lamb were nice

Tareq Barakzoy: A friend recommended, having lunch and we showed up here and out without reservation. We were probably seated. The decor is classy and truly Mediterranean with elements of architecture built into this modern concrete structure. The entrance with the mosaic of stonework is beautiful. We were going to have dinner, so I went for a late lunch and I ordered the Fattoush salad, which comes with lemon vinaigretteand sumac. For protein I chose falafel which served were hot and crispy. It was an excellent salad, but because I was working, I avoided having a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which will perfectly match with this combination of citrus sumac, vegetables and falafel.

Lilia Mestiri: I love it the food was amazing

shoulihan7198: Great food

Teresa Pasillas Noory: Had lunch at Fayala today and wanted to try something new. So I went for the Veggie Wrap. It was delish and filing. Must try!

Owais Majid: They have a mix of halal and non halal meat. So it's better to ask before ordering as u never know.

Amina Ben Abdallah: Taste like a heaven in my mouth! Such a healthy and yummy food 😋😋, so clean and neat place! Since iam from the meditteranean area, i can tell that this is the most authentic meditteranean restaurant in San Francisco in term of spices and taste ! and my best place to get my lunch! Keep it up guys ! You're the best!

Mario Coello: Love it, fresh and clean nice people working in. In and out quick. And happy.

Sal Garcia: The guide must of been good I have to ask Rachel and Alex see what they think

john wilkes: Friendly place that offers fresh Mediterranean-inspired food. More than half the menu is starters, and I focused on those. Four of them, plus a couple of nice glasses of wine, made a generous meal. As others have suggested, the pita bread with the hummus was great, and I really enjoyed the lamb, which was succulent and tasty. I was less wowed by the Chicken Spiedini and the saffron arancini - the taste of the latter was largely drowned out by the tomato sauce.Reservations recommended. Street parking is a it hit-and-miss, but I found a place within a block. The staff was great; my neighbors at nearby tables a bit opinionated and loud, but that's not the restaurant's fault.

lital rozen: The best shawarma and hummus you can find! Today was my first visit and I was so surprised by how good the pita shawarma was! Very fresh juicy and delicious. The sauces are also amazing.Yotam is a great welcoming guy who offers you a great black coffee and malabi. The hummus was so good I ate it with a spoon! Great experience definitely most highly recommended!Friends, as a big fan of shawarma I can definitely tell you that it is one of the best here! The pita is fresh, delicious and the chicken shawarma is perfectly juicy! The salads and spicy were a hit! Hummus is simply the best I've ever eaten! Just like in Israel!A great welcome with excellent black coffee and a charming smile from their mouth! Kosher and clean place. He also does catering. Highly recommend!!

Eisar Lipkovitz: May 2024 Update:I've tried it after the new owners took over, everything is the same, quality might be even better, especially the FalafelsThey were out of the Schwarma by the time we arrivedOriginal review:It's hands down the best Hummus shop the Bay Area experienced in the 25 I’m in SF. During which the Israelis have mastered this product back at home. Bodega replicates the product, order the original, at a level who would draw crowds in Israel. Top 50 kind of product, which is hard to do in SF because the market is smaller. Exploding eggplant is a must try or the Pita with Bisli.Order the original Hummus first, sit down and use the Pita to clean the plate

Arthur Book: this has become one of my new favorite fresh somewhat healthy lunch places.don't be too flattered or hyped though, the bar in soma is pretty low.ps. don't forget that to grab one of those elf-sized pots of green sauce filled with spicy flavor wizardry. i spill that fire generously on my pita every time! 😉

Renzo Noratto: Quality, fresh, FAST, good portion sizes and great staff!👌

Fred Moyer: The rice, chicken, and beet combo is spectacular.

Ajit B: Little different than ChipotleRecommended dishes Kofta Bowl with Quinoa …

Sagar Israni: Had the chicken pita. Was absolutely amazing!

Hanson Wang: The falafel is excellent!

Eric Perret: The food is good, but the service is slow compared to other locations.

Cynthia Jia: Nice quiet location with lots of seating. The eggplant and egg was a really nice vegetarian option that I haven’t had before! A little sad that the bowl option doesn’t have rice but tasty overall!

Jxx X: Note that the negative reviews are from fanatical bicycle rights nazis. First they destroy our streets, then they attack local businesses. I was here on a holiday weekend, and cars were backed up for miles. A bike occasionally passed. There’s no way a delivery person can pick up an order here. And if you do find a parking spot, good luck getting anywhere once you need to leave.

Carlos Amado: Best lamb kebab in the Mission District, the Babaganoush is terrific!

Adelaida Caballero: If you’re looking for delicious home made Syrian food, this place is truly a find. Not only do they have amazing hospitality- the art work on the walls adds a warm ambiance feel. My favorite has been the lentil soup. The humus is my absolute favorite along with the chicken shawarma.Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome to eat at this place.

Jxx X: The chicken gyro wrap was pretty good, but seemed a little light on the chicken. The chicken itself is really good. The hummus was pretty good too. Not a fan of the French fries, and the pita bread that came with the hummus wasn’t the best. I wish they had a delivery option for no fries or substitute a small salad. I’ll give it a try in person as well, and I bet I’ll like it more.

Roselyn Vasquez: . Such great customer service and the food was delicious. We both enjoyed the lamb plate. Everything had excellent flavor and the meat was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. I rarely go to SF but if I'm ever in the area, I'd consider coming here again.

Anne Thom: Falafel plate and lamb gyro wrap which comes with fries were outstanding. Ask for extra wrap sauce if needed. As good as the gyros in Berlin. Service is excellent, very welcoming. Outside seating is nice. Inside seating is not bad.Vegetarian options: Falafel

Coskun Ardic: I have seen many Kitchens, kebap houses,This is absolutely the best one.If I go to San Francisco again, I will go to taste the same high quality food and atmosphere again. The location is well managed.I am totally agree with my wife, Zeynep.I appreciate the hospitality and the service . .

Meric Kutlu: I feel like home and that's a priceless feeling. I am from Istanbul, Turkey. I love how delicious the food and hospitality is in here. My favorites so far: Lentil soup, Adana and Chicken kebab. I was so touched when I was offered tea while I was waiting for my food. I believe that you need to speak Turkish for that. You can always try👌❤️🍀🌞

Polina Andreychenko: Came here for brunch on an impulse as we were shopping. Our server was very attentive, and friendly. She had good recommendations, offered to bring water for our dog, and came by often to check how we were doing. The food was delish, drinks too, I had the lox flatbread. Husband had the eggs Benny, very creative what they did with the shakshuka hollandaise ❤️

John Powell: was very good. The brussells sprouts could have cooked a bit longer... but, then again, better a little undercooked than overcooked.I'm sure we'll be coming back.

Rylie Smith: We were seated immediately for Saturday lunch- the service was impeccable, the waiters friendly, very nice indoor and outdoor seating. But what really makes Noosh above and beyond, maybe one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I’ve ever been to... is the food. Holy moly I’ve never had falafels with lemon garlic tahini more delicious. Brussels perfectly cooked and garnished, chicken kabob and the citrus salad to die for. I would eat this exact same meal every day for the rest of my life if I could.

Tina Costa Delaney: and the braised greens flatbread.Happy hour is fantastic!I also love sitting outside. The heaters kept us warm even in the chilly spring weather . I love this place. Service, food, and ambiance are wonderful.

Yuliya Rashkovskaya: . The smoked yogurt is one of my absolute favorite parts, as well as the pickles. The pickled beets are extra tasty. Great spot for veggie and vegan options

Anna Kim: and the kuzu incik

James Washer: A lovely restaurant, with extremely attentive staff and good food.Coming from around Europe, great Turkish restaurants are commonplace, so I was keen to try this restaurant in San Francisco. The setting is lovely, and as a solo diner they set me in a corner so I could look over the restaurant. The staff seem to have some sort of hive mind, always listening to what other people are ordering and whilst still talking to the waiter, part of your order will just appear on your table from someone else walking by!To start, I had the hummus - which was presented fantastically. It was really well blended and not grainy, but could have had more spices to flavour it - it was a little bland mainly just tasting of chickpea. The breads served with it were disappointing. This is usually my favourite part of eating at a Turkish restaurant, as the fresh cooked breads, served warm are amazing. Here they seemed like plain shop bought pitas and were spongy. For main, they made me a mixed shish with chicken and lamb, as on the menu they have them separately. This was good, although underwhelming compared to food at home. The pieces of meat were half the size and though and dry in comparison. The flavour is also missing a little of the chargrilled smoke you expect from a Turkish grill.Overall, a good meal, and I think I’m comparing it unfairly hence 4* instead of 3* for the food.

Kevin Stewart: . Fries are crazy good too.I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone except if I don’t like them.

Valerie Schmalz: Wonderful food and terrific staff. They were very crowded and we did not have a reservation but they found us a table after a short wait.Kid-friendliness: Kids were there and all was well
