Boards, Bikes & Barbells: These folks are the absolute best. Fixed up my Brutale, no prob. Grateful for the knowledge, smiles, and help!
Shane Wesbrock: This is by far my favourite motorcycle shop in Bay Area . They’ve worked on my modern triumph, my vintage triumph, and the bikes of many close friends and family. I’ve been bringing bike a to them for more than two decades. They’re thorough, helpful, and as knowledgeable as it gets. We are lucky to have a shop this good in San Francisco.
Eric Nyeste: Best shop in the City. They work on vintage classics and carbureted bikes, high end race bikes, and seemingly everything in between. Fully trust Scott to tell it like it is. Excellent experience.
Dan Ginquinni: Decided it was time to take my 2011 BMWGSAto another shop and that was Desmoto-Sport.Not that the last shop was incapable, but that the reviews were great and it was real local. I’m real Happy that I did. My Bike I thought only needed a Basic Service, but I was informed that something was just not right with The Motor. They highlighted the fact that it was idling rough and vibrating big time. I told them that I thought that was normal for a big opposed 1200cc Boxer Motor and that it had always run like that, even after The BMW dealer serviced the bike. Scott at Desmoto said the mechanic who was working on my Bike actually rode a 1200 BMW as well and said it was almost unridable to him. Turns out The Throttle Bodies were really gunked up and The Injectors also were marginal. They replaced the injectors with new ones and installed some replacement throttle bodies I supplied them with. Now the Bike Runs like I’ve never known it to run. So Smooth and the Bars actually don’t even vibrate at all. Totally different Motorcycle. Took it down The Coast yesterday and WoW. I’m really Happy!!!Thank You Scott and Desmoto Sport. Can’t wait for the next long Road Trip.
Joel Gámez: I purchased a used BMW whilst in San Francisco. They were able to see me on short notice. It was deemed road worthy to ride back to AZ.
Samson Mai: If you own a Ducati and don't go here, I don't know what you are doing. Heck, if you have an Aprilia, MV Agusta, BMW, or Triumph, why take your bike anywhere else? They also welcome Japanese bikes too. I have been taking my bike here for over 1.5 years, and I hope to do so for longer. They are quite flexible and understanding in their customer service. They know people have busy lives. The atmosphere is quite chill here too. I like that. That's what motorcycling should be about.
Christian: These guys rule. I brought in my wheels taken off the bike already to have the tires changed, and after personally reinstalling the wheels and checking tire pressure- they had already filled them to factory spec. It’s the little details like this that say a lot about a shop. Also good price for SF!
Juan Francisco Arbocco: One of the beat shops in SF, hands down.
