Myriam Liliana Ruiz Botero: It is a very special place, not only for children, but for the whole family, since it allows you to go back in time and remember many of the things you saw in your childhood, those unforgettable moments or rather, those cartoons or characters that you loved. …here you will be able to see the story of their creation, you will be able to feel the magic that surrounds them and appreciate the work of so many people and see the mastermind behind each one of them. It is truly admirable to see how hard work allows you to see your dreams translated into great realities today.Furthermore, the plus is the environment that surrounds it, a place for family recreation, a park that allows you to have relaxation spaces and also the wonderful view of the Golden Gate and the sea.

Tuur de Ridder: In this museum of slot machines and play castle with, for example, Pac-Man and Tetris and many pinball machines, you can really play on these machines. At most you pay 50 dollar cents. There are change machines available.Nice to go back in time. You will also find the first slot machines from the early 20th century.

Sherry: A fun vintage arcade museum that's one of the world's largest collections! This was surprisingly really fun, even for my older parents, and very affordable! Each machine ranged from 25 cents to $1. And what a diverse selection of arcade machines from the past. There were pinball machines, skee ball alleys, dioramas, fortune tellers, video games, music boxes, and so much more! All in all, great fun and would take anybody of any age to visit and experience.

I didn’t expect to spend like 1 hour here checking out all of the vintage games and playing them! We played so many games and the ones we played were all like $0.25-0.75 each. So we spent like $6 total and had a really great time. The guy working was so friendly showing us how some of the games worked and it was just an overall really unexpected great time. I definitely recommend it to see the vintage games!

Bibin Chacko: The Asian Art Museum in San Francisco is a cultural treasure trove that offers a deep and enriching experience for art lovers and casual visitors alike. The museum boasts an impressive collection that spans thousands of years and a wide range of Asian cultures, from ancient artifacts to contemporary works. Each exhibit is thoughtfully curated, providing insightful context that enhances appreciation and understanding. The layout is spacious and inviting, allowing for a comfortable exploration of the diverse art forms on display. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate, always ready to answer questions and provide guidance. Special exhibitions and events are frequently updated, ensuring there's always something new to see. The museum also has a delightful café and a well-stocked gift shop with unique items. A visit to the Asian Art Museum is a captivating journey through the rich tapestry of Asian art and culture. Highly recommended for anyone seeking inspiration and a deeper understanding of the world's artistic heritage.

Timothy Neumann: A lot of art and artifacts of Asian material culture well arranged and displayed. The museum is organized into three floors. The upper two are the regular exhibits. The first floor for the store and the special exhibit one would need to pay special for. I couldn't afford the extra $30 for the special exhibit, so I just enjoyed the rest.It includes China, Japan, Korea, India, and other countries I can't remember among the provenance of the items. I am several days out from my visit.I was interested at this time just to breeze through and get a once-over of the whole thing. There is a lot of interpretive signage to label and spatiotemporally locate the item's context. I'm not a specialist, so I can't vouch for accuracy. I didn't take time to read it all this time either. I just wanted the arrangement and the serpentine path through the museum to be mine, like the air sequestered in a tractor tire. I won't spoil the experience for others with lame opinions about why that, why there? Who decided to make your show look like THAT kind of cultural imperialist claiming hegemony over any other culture? Security in numbers and current absolutist regimes you import into America to ruin the way American democracy by representation had been traditionally done? Hmm. Well, I'm not going to say much other than that the the pretty campaign is the one endorsed by the robots, if they endorse personal animosity, freedom of self-annihilation behaviors and suicide, and vituperative invective against anyone perceived to be momentarily alive. Indeed, be careful to cushion your coddled ears with your own kind of soothing gentle on you and bitterly resentful of your detractors. Political stalemating and stagnation for the backwaters and swamps require it. Bathrooms were invented to give those meatballs their due homage, with audible flushes heard around the world to speak the power and population of water, which all hates some white dude for some reason. Now 99% waning gibbous. Glad he's almost gone. They've been shooting at him for almost a month!

Anthony Castro: A beautiful art museum with rare art from all across Asia. My favorite art are the Greek statues of the Buddha. Takes a couple of days to see everything but well worth it.

Fae LeDawson: An amazing selection of artifacts, with informative descriptions and lots of halls to wander. The $10 special exhibition was interesting, with intricate cast bronze pieces, but if you want to save money there's plenty else to see in the regular exhibit halls. Those regular halls are slightly dim and very quiet, but the exhibited items were interesting and everything else was excellent.Handicap accessibility is good, with plenty of room to wheel around and portable chairs in every exhibit hall for those who need to sit often. Some items on display are up high, making views for short people or seated people worse.

Whether electricity, optical illusions, nature or inventions, there is a lot to see here. I initially imagined something different about the museum and in my opinion it is something for young and old.But I can recommend this more if there are at least two of you. You definitely need around 6-7 hours to get around the whole place especially on crowded days. But for smaller kids it would be a better idea to cover 2-3 sections only per day lest they lose interest and get tired.Every section and each exhibit is carefully planned and placed to invoke one’s curiosity. People of any age and experience have something to learn on visiting here. The place is soaked in history and proudly exhibits its journey through over a century in photos and displays. It is a good place to make your grade schooler fall in love with science and math. So do not miss an opportunity to visit when you plan a trip to SFO..

c: The Cartoon Art Museum was a lovely addition to our touring schedule for our family, including our 16 year old, a self-proclaimed Comic Con geek. The museum fueled her curious nature. A quaint little off the beaten path respite from all energy of the Wharf, we loved the reading room, and the memorabilia was well displayed. Also, the local artists featured in several areas around the museum were extremely impressive. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed seeing the mentoring going on between curator and what appeared to be a new museum employee. Overall, it was a 5 star experience. Excellent quality.

Tigran Karakhanyan: Fantastic! It's quite small, but the quality of the exhibition is top-notch,So is their little comic book shop,They even have a separate library room. My favorite were the old comics based on classical literature. I didn't even know those exist!I nerded out for a few hours, and ended up buying Mom's Cancer and Chainsaw Man's Book.Kinda expensive, but feels good to support the artists.

Maria Yamamuro: Despite how small the spaces are, there was plenty to take in and enjoy. When we visited, they were featuring Filipino komiks and The Rocketeer, which I LOVED. David Nagel-Nunez: Neat place to visit to see some Star Wars statues and a Yoda fountain. It is just some business offices, and they allow you to enter into the main lobby to take pictures, but you can't go further than that. And you can't take videos! - only pictures!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Brock Haylock: Alongside the Yoda statue just in front of this spot, it's great to see hints of all of the historical work in film done at this company. Though you can only enter the lobby and see in a few places, knowledge of the history via different items placed around the area will certainly inspire the devoted Star Wars fan. It was surprising that no real signage showed the business at work here but that just added to the inspiration.

J Gramajo: A must stop if you are a fan of Star Wars or George Lucas. We were there on a weekday, and the lobby was open for public.Price for entry: $0.00

Benoît Sauvage: .You can take photos, but not videos or panoramics, but the welcome is friendly.

Lexi Sharp: fascinating place

Jenna Spence: Great selection of Chicano Movement works however there isn’t much else. It is a little bit out of the way but still recommended. Go on Sunday and check out the farmer’s market beforehand. Can’t wait until they get moved into their new location downtown.

Orlando Garcia: Tiny art gallery. Fun, but TINY!

gritsandgravy: This museum is a true hidden gem! Should be listed as one of the Top 20 Things To Do In San Francisco. Bernie Murphy is an excellent docent! I asked Rob on the Road to visit this place!

Philip Clinard: . The artifacts are nicely laid out with informative descriptions. It is small but full of a variety of appliances, steam engines, displays on the earthquake and fire of 1906, the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake and fire, fireboats, fire alarm system, the SFPD, Sheriff's Office and EMS system history. My favorite display covered the hydrants and water supply system. Go and visit if you're in SF!!

Francisco Javier Godinez Castellanos: Excellent colleagues. And services.

Kai Brinkmann: Unfortunately it was closed due to a lack of volunteers. But the guard just came from duty and showed us everything. That was great. Just ring the bell when the museum is closed.

Gerd Müller: Definitely worth a visit!!! And you have the opportunity to look at the firetrucks! Free entry...

Carita Merikivi: Interesting museum.

Dustin Johansen: Stumbled upon this Gem randomly. Walked In and accidentally spent a couple hours of having fun! Great place to play some retro games.Highly recommend!

Matus Kopalko: This tour is worth every penny! There is a guy just outside the submarine who can take your breath away by explaining how that thing operated dueing ww2. Certainly go and talk to him before you get the tickets for the tour. You can scan a qr code and have an audioguide tour while you walk the submarine sections. Certainly recommend it, as its one of those more authentic audio guide tours. The submarine itself is well preserved and as you walk it you discover first hand conditions that were aboard and you can imagine or at least try to feel how it would feel to go on a patrol for several weeks straight i to pacific...100% recommended, dont skip this one and if you have time go check other ships on the piers near by.

Ray Archie: . It was really educational and humbling to learn about how many subs and ships that we lost between 1942 and 1945. Please visit. And take the tour.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …
