John Ko: Great location and service. Rooms are comfortable & clean but worn and needs updating. I’ve stayed here many times and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.Walkability: At the border of union square and Chinatown - easy walk to both. Also close to financial district.

Leo Díaz Longhi: Solid hotel. You won't miss anything in particular and you won't need anything else. But nothing over that. If you want to buy something inside the hotel is super expensive.Elevators are slow. It's a tall building.Rooms: Solid and comfortable rooms. Shows the wear of some time but they still are ok.Nearby activities: Middle of SF. Everything starts here. The beach is far, but there are almost no hotels thereSafety: Homeless people are everywhere in SF. Lots of drugs all day long. They won't do you anything, but it is an uncomfortable situation.Walkability: You can't be wrong in the middle of the city. Pay in advance for the public transportation and you'll get everywhere easily.

FaHaD ALSaMi: The location is suitable and close to services, Macys building, Apple and many international brands..The room was very nice. I lived on the 26th floor. The view is beautiful.. the bed is comfortable and the hotel is quiet..

Doug Gordy: The rooms are really nice. They are spacious and comfortable. The king bed was a nice quality and the turn down service rocked. They have a really nice setup with the TV where you can stream a device to it, so you don't have to mess with the hotel on demand stuff. The tub was a small thing where you really could just use it as a shower. The shower has a shower head that is adjustable in height. My wife is short and I am tall.... It barely reached my head. It is kinda out of the way from the hustle of downtown and honestly not a lot of restaurants that I enjoy were near. The front desk staff is absolutely amazing here and will bend over backwards for you. I would recommend staying here and probably will stay myself again

Klaus Zeiler: Top location, nice rooms, good breakfast. One tip. Bayview room unnecessary, you don't see much. City view on the upper floor is much better.Nearby activities: Fisherman's Wharf just around the corner, cable car - terminus too. Locals, shops

Alexandra Gaevsky: Hotel Service was very friendly! 🏨🛎️My room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. They also offer fresh cucumber water at the front lobby. Very cool! 🚰🥒Food & drinks: The lobby has a Fusion Restaurant! You can also buy snacks from the hotel before heading to your room. Get the cookies! 😉🍪✨

Griselda Vidrio: It was hard to find as both of our phones GPS were sending us to a different place. Once we located all was great. We got suggestions from front desk service personel as to where to go and do around. The area was beautiful, so close walking distance to wharf and other places. Clean rooms , very helpful personnel good breakfast.Rooms: Clean, 2 full size bedrooms. Hair dryer, iron plus ironing board available in room.Nearby activities: Fisherman's wharf tour trips, restaurants, park.Safety: I thought it was safe during day, i did not see any vandalism or unhoused people around..Walkability: Walking distance to a lot of things to do.Food & drinks: Restaurants available with walking distance.

DJNJD 6: Very professional, friendly, and helpful front desk staff. I was made to feel like they cared about my loyalty to IHG, and they got me into my room immediately, 2 hours before check-in without trying to gouge me like the Holiday Inn Golden gate does. The room is what I have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express; clean, updated, and cozy. The location is great! A very short walk to the water.

Jack Nesser: A little unhappy that they charged me 35 for being an hour and a half early however they did give me an opportunity to check bags. Otherwise everything good, location, breakfast and concierge desk. rooms cleanWalkability: Close to pier 39Shops and restaurants walking distance

Cinira Ribeiro: Great location close to Pier 39 where there are good restaurants, in addition to tourism services being strategically nearby.Impeccable services at the hotel, attentive staff and the conscierge Katarina made the difference in the tour directions.Comfort, cleanliness and a hearty breakfast are part of the package 😉

Liz Strong: Good housekeeping. Surprisingly quiet for such a convenient location.I was awake at super weird hours because I came from Asia. It was dead quiet at 3pm & 3am, 6pm & 6am. Would definitely Stay here again.

Davon Ward: Had a room for 1 night. Great location being across the street from the ballpark. The room was really nice. I didn’t have a view of anything being on the 2nd floor. Rooftop bar was pretty nice. The only thing I didn’t like about the room was having 1 switch for all the lights in the room except for the bedside reading light. Other than that, I’d definitely stay here again

marcia craw: Rooms: Clean comfortNearby activities: Everything was in walking distanceSafety: Felt very safeWalkability: GreatFood & drinks: Amazing

Laura O: on one slice of sourdough bread. The menu said BLT on baguette with blah blah aioli...sounded good. It was not and the waiter then tried to argue with us about what a baguette was, then tried to tell us that because we were tourists we didn't understand. We aren't, we are from Alameda and just stayed over to go to dinner at HOPR and not have to drive home late after drinking...The calamari was OLD. Like fishy smelling/tasting. We had lunch for four people and it was $250 before tip. Lunch. We went to dinner at HOPR and paid far less for WAY better food. To make a long story long....stay at this hotel because its nice/clean/in a great location but avoid their restaurant like its the plague.Rooms: Rooms are super cute. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean and nice.Nearby activities: There is a cool museum/arcade a few blocks away. You're basically in the middle of the wharf so there is a ton of stuff to do if you're new to the area. If you are not new to the area, you will be sad to see all the old timer restaurants are shuttered

Steve May: Loved our stay at Argonaut. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the neighborhood felt safe. Great location for exploring San Francisco. Really loved our morning walks to see the Harbor Seals and grab coffee.Nearby activities: 10 minute stroll to the Harbor Seals.

Vivian Y: Excellent location and plenty of amenities. But I ended up having to contact the front desk a lot about things that I was supposed to have included in my package like free breakfast and late checkout. The room was cute, but more dimly lit than I prefer. The Jacuzzi tub was a huge highlight, but many of the bathroom fixtures also felt outdated.Overall, I enjoyed my stay and might go back due to the excellent location, but I'm not sure.

Kraig S: , but it did not accumulate. So, you were expected to use the hotel services daily and even with the credit applied, it was fairly pricey for the area.

George Craig: I would never write a review about a hotel until now. The staff makes this hotel INCREDIBLE. Seriously, the people that work here including Daryl, Shannon and Saoirse as well as every front desk attendant are just unbelievable when it comes to kindness and consideration to their guests. I am out here for work and so happy to be here because of how the people here at this hotel have treated me during my stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you to all of the hotel staff for being pleasant, professional and helpful. Your hospitality has not gone unnoticed. This is my second week here for work and I will only consider this hotel in the future just from how I’ve been treated. You guys are incredible rockstars. Thank you for all that you do.Noteworthy details: You are treated like luxury as the staff genuinely cares about you and your stay. Five stars for this hotel in how I’ve been treated as a guest

カズコム: I used it to watch a baseball game at Oracle Park. It was right in front of the stadium and I was able to go back to the hotel immediately after the game, so it was very convenient. All the staff are friendly, and although it doesn't have a luxurious feel, I think it's a comfortable hotel. Also, although I didn't use it, it seems like a simple breakfast is included.

Emma Penunuri: Very conveniently located right next to the ball park and only 10-15min from Chase Center. The N line tram stops just around the corner that takes you out all the way to ocean beach. We had a beautiful corner room overlooking S.F. downtown. The room was very spacious, the carpet smelled fresh and clean. The hotel stuff was helpful and always available. We had a great overall experience and we will be back for sure.

Jessica Campana: Had a great experience with this hotel. The staff and the location were amazing. The room was very clean as was the hotel overall. Parking is limited but worth it. I rather have it parked at the hotel. Don’t want my car to get smashed. The breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious. The location is prime, close to Oracle Park, and transportation. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Will be booking my next stay here.

Meghan Ranade: It's at a very convenient location and good service. The rooftop bar has great viewsRooms: Decent sized roomsNearby activities: Oracle Park stadium nearby and other downtown placesSafety: It's relatively safeWalkability: Can walk to nearby Caltrain stationFood & drinks: Decent rooftop restaurantNoteworthy details: Convenient location

한지호: Perfect location to watch Giants games. The service is excellent, the breakfast is good, and it's a good choice for families.Nearby activities: Oracle Park 3 minutes walk

Virginia Bosch Hyttfors: Nice hotel, booked a 16 night stay thru their own website, non refundable, had to leave a day early and asked if they would make an exception to refund me the last night they said no. Considering that one of the nights the lock broke and it took them a long time to fix it, had to wait in another room late at night until it was fixed, to access my room, I feel that they should have granted my exception. It gets super busy when there is a game going on as they host events. Not much going on in the area and a long walk to market street.Rooms are clean and new but small.

강민경: The hotel lobby was not large, but it was clean, the room was well organized, clean, quiet, and nice. If you leave the hotel and turn right, the above-ground subway goes right away and it was convenient to see the city.Safety: The area around the hotel was clean and safe.

Caleb Longest: Friendly staff, clean hotel, and a convenient location. Plenty of parking in the garage. The view from our room was phenomenal.

Rich Jolly: This is our go-to hotel for San Francisco. We just drive there and leave our car in the parking garage. It is centrally located to so many of the sites and attractions that we come to enjoy. The staff are top-notch and accommodating to anything that we may need. There is a restaurant as well as grab and go right in the lobby of the hotel. There are also a lot of vending machines including a CVS vending machine! The rooms are clean and comfortable with great views. The elevators are equipped with technology that only allow you to go to the floor that your room key is set for. I always feel safe with my family here. All in all it is a great hotel and I would recommend it to anyone staying in San Francisco.

krishna: Outstanding and safe hotel.Nothing to worry about your car.I liked the car entrance and exit process. no other person can’t access the parking lot and easy way to reach your hotel. Totally worthy hotel in sfo with affordable price.Safety: Safe and secure the parking lot.Awesome building plans.

Jerry Schnieder: Such a great hotel, we will definitely return. Helpful staff, and what a view!On our second visit, it was just as amazing of a stay. Filtered water in the workout room on floor 6!Rooms: We loved our room!Nearby activities: Right next to the California cable car line!

Leonardo Acioli: Great hotel! Clean and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again

Jixi Fox: that was impressive, the artwork was great, 6 elevators, amazing cleaning staff, pool, self washing machine and dryer

marika khutsidze: Location was GREAT. Service was GREAT. Room was GREAT. Enjoyed staying in this HotelFood & drinks: Tea and Coffee in lobby for free

Olivia Flores: It is located in an excellent area! The hotel is extremely nice, from the reception they are very friendly and do their best to make you comfortable. The rooms are super nice and clean, being in the hotel is very entertaining with its play areas and the chocolates they give you for queues. Their prices are good too. I loved! I totally recommend them!Rooms: The rooms have very good space, we reserved two, one for my husband and I and another for my three children. Very clean, it was actually something that I really liked, the cleanliness!Nearby activities: Practically across the street is Pier 39, which is one of the best in SF. And near there is Pier 33 where the boats leave that take you to Alcatraz. The Ihop on the corner and around the corner a pharmacy, 7 eleven and many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Very convenient close to everything.Safety: Everything was safe for us, we didn't see anything that seemed unsafe to us.Walkability: If it's the coolest thing, across the street is everything, restaurants, attractions, you can see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge! Excellent location you can just walk and it is beautiful!

Khristine: . Room was clean and I liked the smell of the soap, shampoo and moisturizer! The little old lady cleaning room was so sweet. We will surely be back in this hotel. Originally we can give this a 4 star but Lucelle made this 5, very accommodating employee, just what we need in the travel & leisure industry!Walkability: Just across the pier .

Greg Bray: Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Romantic, Kid-friendly, Great value

Charlotte Jupp: Rooms: Functional and clean.Nearby activities: Nice hotel bar. Good location for a lot of the sights. Convenient for Powell Street and the trams.Safety: Safe enough for San Francisco. Busy area.Walkability: Can walk to a lot of locations and central.Food & drinks: Nice rooftop bar for drinks. Didn't eat food.

Leonardo Garcia: The best thing about the hotel is the rooftop bar. The rooms are old and worn out. As usual in San Francisco, it's too expensive for a terrible experience.Rooms: Terrible. Very old and worn out.

Gustavo Nadais: Region with a lot of drug addicts, which makes it scary to go out. But the hotel is still pretty cool.Rooms: Rooms ok, I expected more for the price. But OK.Safety: Hotel security, especially at night or on busier days, is good, but they are very rude. American profile. The streets around are full of drug addicts and homeless people, it's terrible.

Marco Polo: 2 blocks up on Sutter Street, great breakfast. Very good prices.

Elena Belgum (Count Talkula): This place is enormous, I forgot how big it was and that I had gotten lost there more than once. Tower one has 40 or more floors, reception areas huge and has a great but expensive store/ Deli which I think is open 24 hours. Security can be overly Vigilant and rude but considering the location and current situation and the fact that people are sleeping there, it's to be expected. If you are visiting somebody here have their room number and last name and it doesn't hurt to have picture ID and have them call them or come meet you in the lobby or leave a message at the front desk or something like that or you may not get in. The prices are more than double the last time I've been there, I don't know if there was a convention in town or that's just the current pricing or the person I know just didn't have any discounts, but this is definitely not a budget location. They also have A well-stocked gift shop, although I don't think I would rely on it for gifts for any kind of special occasion it's closer to an airport convenience store. They also have a couple of restaurants and bars, pool, hot tub, convention facilities, office equipment, 24/7 room service and maid service etcRooms: I've only seen standard rooms here. They are spacious and clean and the bathrooms are nice and well stocked and I believe most if not all of the rooms have balconies.Nearby activities: Great location near Union Square and the Theater District also near the tenderloin, so don't leave anything in your car if you park here. I wouldn't even leave your car outside of their parking lot or it may not be there when you get back. SF does not have a ton of 24-hour activities and businesses like it used to but if you're going to find them it'll be near that hotel.Safety: Don't walk around this neighborhood altered alone or you are likely to be targeted for robbery or something similar. I would not leave my car there overnight if it was nice and definitely not if it had anything inside . Great for shopping but don't leave any valuables unattended. Great for bars and restaurants but a pricey area, better deals available within a mile or less.Walkability: Almost all of San Francisco is extremely walkable, the tenderloin is much dirtier than it used to be and it's not advisable to walk in anything other than closed-toed shoes and not provocatively dressed unless you like a whole lot of attention. Also keep your wallet hidden and be friendly but not overly friendly if it's late at night. You can see Union Square from a street performers, Broadway level theater, a lot of bars and restaurants and shopping and cable cars, Market street, the ferry building, the Embarcadero, Grace Cathedral and a lot of other great sites and stuff to do within easy walking distance although you might run into a lot of hills.Food & drinks: Available 24/7 at the hotel but very pricey. Available in the area also very pricey, again go to the tenderloin for better prices but keep your wits about you and hide your money. I would recommend going up to Polk street for Napoli Pizza, and other great restaurants and bars for a younger, "hipper" crowd at a lower price than the Union Square area, you'll be passing through the tenderloin to get there which is possibly too Hip for most people and much lower pricing unless you're buying drugs or ice cream. LolNoteworthy details: Most likely the largest hotel in the city, great location, clean professional Etc but much higher pricing than other smaller and possibly more fun hotels which may not offer the same amenities or hours.

Melissa Hameier: Nice hotel in a good location. Rooms were a bit worn but the bed was incredibly cozy, shower was fantastic and it was really fun to have a record player in the room. Valet parking was an astronomical rate, especially when we didn’t realize our pickup was considered an oversized vehicle and billed $90/night plus fees rather than the $70 we had been told.

Frances Palomata: Recently stayed at Kimpton Alton and it was truly exceptional! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. They truly pay attention to the needs of their customers, ensuring a comfortable stay from start to finish!Special shoutout to Clifford for his outstanding service. He left us a lasting impression with his genuine care for guests’ satisfaction. Loved that the hotel is kid and dog-friendly, with thoughtful amenities for both and I must say the food at Abaca restaurant was delicious, with every dish expertly prepared. Overall, a memorable stay and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

Walter Williams: Great location, rooms were small. One microwave per floor. Beds not the best qaulity..AC was super loudNearby activities: Close to all wharf activities and China townWalkability: Walk or Uber scooter ..everywhere in the area.

Brad Knoles: . I was hesitant to stay in "touristy" wharf area, but the location was spot on and felt a little safer at night while SF works out some of the post-Covid kinks in the Union area and elsewhere, if you know what I mean.

Gail Walker: I wished I had a microwave in my room.Rooms: The carpet had a large stain.Food & drinks: The menu didn't offer food to my liking.

Jim Foong: and Harvey has always been on the go to make us feel at home with the greatest hospitality that can be imagined. His enthusiasm and approachable personality plays a pivotal role as an exemplary hotelier with IHG. He’s always proactive in showing care and concern to the hotel guests, such sincerity in the service industry is highly appreciated.May his good values and quality be validated accordingly by the higher management team. Harvey is one of a kind, treasurable gem indeed.Muchas Gracias!Nearby activities: Fisherman’s wharf is just 2 minutes walk away.Walkability: Fisherman’s wharf is just 2 minutes walk away.

Matt Reese: Extreamly nice hotel. Great location, great rooms. Some standouts- was able to garentee ajoining rooms over six months in advance, few places can do this.- happy hour everyday with free wine and beer.- large rooms- good beds.

Liam Batanides: My girlfriend and I had a great weekend here! Service was stellar, the rooms were very clean and the vibes were very cool and exciting! I will say that parking was a bit on the expensive side, but there are options available within walking distance. I would stay here again!Rooms: Clean, simple and elegantSafety: Very safe and secureWalkability: Lots of food and attractions within 10 minutesFood & drinks: Hotel has a restaurant on the main floor

Slobodan Kunst (Bobby): Charming Stay with a Nostalgic TwistNestled in the heart of San Francisco, the Kimpton Alton Hotel exudes charm and character, making it an excellent choice for a memorable stay in the city. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of nostalgia that sets this boutique hotel apart. One of the highlights of the Kimpton Alton Hotel is its unique offering of gramophone albums in each room, providing guests with a delightful surprise and adding a touch of vintage flair to their stay. Whether you're a music enthusiast or simply appreciate the novelty of analogue sound, the gramophone albums are sure to enhance your experience. The hotel's attention to detail extends beyond its retro-inspired amenities. The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining modern comforts with classic elegance. Comfortable beds, plush linens, and thoughtful touches create a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. While the Kimpton Alton Hotel offers a delightful experience overall, some guests may find the absence of a complimentary breakfast to be a drawback. However, with an array of dining options within walking distance, including quaint cafes and trendy eateries, there are plenty of opportunities to indulge in a delicious morning meal.Overall, the Kimpton Alton Hotel offers a charming and memorable stay in San Francisco. With its vintage appeal, attentive service, and prime location, it's an ideal choice for travelers seeking a unique and welcoming atmosphere.

Hamad Nasar: Best Hotel I have stayed so far in the US.Usually Iam not writing Reviews but this Hotel truly deserves it. Friendly Staff, especially the Lady in the Club Lounge. Spacious room, everything you need including a small kitchen. Room was clean. Whirlpool was a Blessing after a long-haul Flight and Not to forget the free Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available on the 15th Floor. Free Filter Water in Lobby another Plus. Location is perfect, Union square just a few mins Walking away. Will come again for sure when in SFO again.

david johnson: This place was a real surprise! Great hotel, downtown, close to everything! Big rooms, clean, excellent staff, nice sauna and Jacuzzi, great rooftop sitting area with a view! Very safe, in house parking availableHighly recommend the Donatello and will stay there again! As good as any hotel for the money! VALUE

Michael Niels Rasmussen: and many other activities.**Arrival and Parking**When we arrived we were greeted by a valet who took the car and our luggage. Everything was driven up to our room while the car was safely parked. Parking is $50 per car. day, which is worth mentioning.**Check in**The check-in process only took 2-3 minutes and was incredibly easy. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially Carlos who gave us a warm and thorough introduction.**Facilities**The hotel offers a range of facilities including a spa, fitness center and restaurant. There is also free coffee and tea in the rooms which was a nice extra service.**Rooms**The rooms were large and spacious with a great view of San Francisco. Although the windows weren't very well insulated and a little noise from the city got in, it wasn't enough to disturb our stay.**Service**The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff always greeted us with a smile and a cheeky remark, which really added to the hotel's charming atmosphere. All in all, our stay at The Donatello was a wonderful experience. The hotel's charm, excellent location and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco.Rooms: Large and spaciousNearby activities: Shopping, the streetcar, Pier 39/harbor, theaters, restaurants, Alcatrez, China Town, Salesforce floating gardens.Safety: There is staff on duty 24 hours a day and full control of securityFood & drinks: Food is not included, but there are endless dining options in the area and a restaurant in hotels

Aida Ghidey: Cute little hotel with friendly staff. The Jacuzzi is on the small side where 4 people will make it crowded. It has a view from the terrace and a coffee room. Walking distance to Union Square and galleries. Restaurants nearby are on the pricey side, but a few blocks from Hallal Guys which is reasonably priced for the city. Has parking for a few. Would recommend it.Walkability: Pretty safe area, but not far from Tenderloin where it's not recommended.

Stosh Kowalski: Great place to stay in the heart of downtown and right near Union Square. Many Airbnbs inside, and the building is run like a posh hotel - complete great rooms, bar, gym and security - but at a lower price. Close to everything you need downtown including good restaurants and pubs, museums, shopping and the BART. Staff is knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. My go-to when I have business trips to San Fran.

Jonathan Maye-Hobbs (MrStaycation): did not seem organized, aware, nor helpful. The lobby orientation/layout is a bit unusual & elevators are very in-your-face. Cleaning standards are exceptional. This felt like an elevated experience walking through the building.ROOMhttps://youtu.be/Ldb5zY95vksVery spacious, aromatic, & well-lit.A modern design with a luxury feel to it, reminiscent of that old-world glamour but not at all stiff. Functional windows get so much natural light during golden hour. The workspace fell short in ergonomics , nevertheless it was an inspiring space. Storage was generous & the room was very clean.BEDHEAVENLY!!!You sink in this one & just never want to get up. Surrounded by an excellent brand of pillows & linens.Simply wow!BATHSmall bath space with a toilet of dread. These low toilets are a bane. The rest of the installations are more than satisfactory.Bath products

Sierra Foxtrot: A good hotel with attentive and friendly staff. It has a central location due to its proximity to a large shopping center. From here you can explore San Francisco on foot. The modern rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows through which you have a good view. There is a luggage storage service for all guests who arrive early or wish to leave in the evening.

Q Wer: comfy, low-anxiety, memorable, & smooth. :

Jarred Capellman: Hands down the best hotel in the world. My wife and I have stayed here numerous times over the last year going to various events in San Francisco. The location is perfect to get around to everything we goto. The rooms have always been super clean, large and luxurious. You really can't beat the floor to glass ceiling views of the bay.The staff has always been courteous even when we have checked in at midnight. The buffet breakfast is also the best breakfast, lots of keto options.Walkability: Giants stadium, Warriors Stadium, Ferry Building and SF Symphony are all within walking distance. Not to mention Enterprise Brewery, Rize Up Bakery and Black Hammer Brewery.

Hortencia Mayorga: Hotel highlights Kid-friendly

James Gilbert: Had the great pleasure of staying in a room with Club lounge access for 4 nights recently with a 20th floor view of seismic proportions. A true treat. Luis and the rest of the lounge staff were as one would hope - helpful, attentive, and great to interact with. The food and beverages were of excellent quality, and the views also from the lounge and the patio were terrific. Do not hesitate to stay here, especially if you opt for the Club lounge. The location can be dicey but that's basically the entire city. So, be a little cautious but do still come.

Alyssa Siddiqui: Holiday tea at the Ritz Carlton.Late post as they don’t always offer afternoon tea but I believe they offer a type of holiday tea every winter.Highly recommend trying tea at the Ritz Carlton, when they do offer, as they provide a romantic ambience for your tea date as well as delicious treats.During our visit they had a harpist and we were met with decadent tea delights with lobster, caviar and other delicacies. They were able to meet our dietary needs of halal and celiac and made our anniversary a wonderful experience.

Su Byron: were so good and the ambience so comfortable, we never wanted to leave.Because of life’s circumstances, we needed pampering and that’s what we got at The Ritz Carlton in San Francisco. There are so many people to thank—but sans a notebook and constantly jotting down names, I can’t list them all here. From the concierges, the remarkable Club level staff, the sweet women who service the rooms—each person served with expansive energy and whole-hearted spirit. It’s a hard job—being gracious all day to the lucky folk who get to stay here but they do it with honor and integrity. One note: Through my own miscommunication, we had a slight hiccup with servicing the room. No big deal—but it was my error. However, the entire staff we worked with never pointed their finger at me; they made the situation right with graciousness and kindness.Yes, the amenities are perfect. I have insomnia but slept perfectly here. The linens, sheets, bathroom amenities—all wonderful. But the true heart of this establishment is every person who works here and strives so hard to keep the guests happy and comfortable. Bravo!!Rooms: Our room, 865, years overlooked the splendor of the city. Gorgeous!Walkability: This is Nob Hill! If you can’t handle the hill hikes

Borderlessfoodie: .Note: Valet parking is ~$80 per day.

Alice Cruce: Exceptional service. I have stayed at many Ritz Carlton’s, and other luxury hotel brands, and the service here is some of the best I have ever experienced. Every step of the way from valet to check in to restaurant service everyone is friendly and going out of their way to make your experience the best possible. This is my second visit within a few months and I have been consistently impressed. Special shout out to Teresa R at the front desk who has given me personalized service during both stays, surprising me with cake for my birthday and remembering me when she saw my name for my second visit and went out of her way to give me her favorite room. She made our visit very special and will keep me coming back to the Ritz when I come to SF in the future. Come stay here. You won’t regret it.

Fernanda Eguiarte: The attention we received at the Ritz was impeccable from our arrival to our departure. Unfortunately and for reasons totally unrelated to the hotel, we had a Covid diagnosis at the beginning of our trip and we had to quarantine in the room. The Ritz team, in addition to executing Covid protocols for the safety of other guests and their staff, was attentive to us at all times. They sent us complementary tea service to the room and helped our medicines and food always be in front of our door. Furthermore, they had a human and genuine concern for our health at every moment. Despite the sadness of the change of plans, we were able to have the space and care necessary for our recovery. I will always be grateful to them for this and I highly recommend staying there.

Ozzi H.: "Love at First Stay"I have been staying at the hotels for the last 20-plus years, but Ritz-Carlton made me realize the true meaning of Service and comfort level. We stayed there for the first time for 2 nights and 3 days enough to spoil you and raise your expectations forever...The way staff greets you at the entrance is not less than 5 stars, it feels like they know you well and are there to serve you only... The front desk staff is lovely, friendly and professional. No matter your genuine needs, they are ready to fulfil them with a lovely smile. Although the bathroom was a little uncomfortable the stay was great! At the end of the stay when we were leaving the gentleman at the concierge requested me to come back and stay with us again and consider Ritz Carlton your second home. 3 3 3Rooms: 4 starsNearby activities: 5 starsSafety: 5 starsWalkability: 5 starsFood & drinks: 5 starsNoteworthy details: At the entrance greetings and flower arrangements.

Lori Jenkins: This is a beautiful hotel and I would recommend it over any other hotel in SF. The service and staff go above and beyond anything you need. Kindness really goes a long way and it is hard to find that when traveling recently in the U.S. I would come back to this hotel based off of that alone. The hotel itself is immaculate and very clean. Our room on the club level was nice and comfortable with a fantastic view of the bay and Coit Tower. The food and service in the club room was wonderful, we felt very welcome.

Alina Maria: The only reason why this is not 5 stars was the car parking situation. I understand in the area you want to park it in a safe area, but right next door there’s a parking lot charging a lot less.Other than that, the hotel itself was great; room was a decent size for us as a couple. If you had one small child, it could still work too.Food at the restaurant was better at night than breakfast. Chicken Parm was top favorite for us.Nearby activities: We were able to walk to the GoCar location to then explore the coast of the city. Also go through Ripley’s Believe or Not location as well.

Tracy Tan: to dine in house, the food is amazing. Free e-bicycle rental for an hour per day. The staff even taught me how to ride and make sure I practice a few round before going out. The reception gave very clear instruction and where to go and where to avoid. Best decision to stay with Zoe. We felt totally safe while in SFO, and enjoyed all the service provided by the team on the ground. They felt genuinely nice and welcoming.

Nuno Oliveira: The rooms are quite comfortable.Breakfast is very well organized. The staff are very helpful. The location is spectacular

Joe Cheesman: THIS Hilton IS THE BEST IN THE AREA, DIANE THAT WORKS HERE HELPED ME OUT EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS BUSY, SHE TOOK TIME TO GET ME SOMETHING, I HAVE SPENT YEARS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DIANE IS A KEY EMPLOYEE THAT HAS THAT NATURAL INSTINCT TO BE HELPFUL, HILTON CEO’s AND MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO GIVE THIS EMPLOYEE SOME RECOGNITION, when a customer names the person that helped them, revealing the personal connection that was developed. It shares a personal story which adds to the credibility of the review. The ones who show that they are friendly, helpful, and a problem solver can sometimes be more important than the actual service or product you sell! And always remember, EVERY employee who interacts with customers needs to have the same mindset, training, and support as your, dedicatedGUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE.Thank You, Diane

Jared Byrne: I regularly attempt to stay at Marriott Hotels on my travels, and this hotel is a great example of why: this is a nice hotel, that has been kept clean - and they have excellent, world-class service! Admittedly, I didn't attempt to use the Gym or the restaurant during my stay, so can't soak directly to those items. The reality that this Marriott is in an amazing location, with a lot to see at a short walk, is an added bonus.

José Manuel González: Went for a business trip. Good breakfast selection every morning starting 6:30amGood service across the board, free tickets to the cable car and dessert coupons.Quiet and cleanNearby activities: Touristic areas in a 2 mile radius and plenty of transportation options.

Dan Tiamzon: I have stayed here twice now and this hotel has always provided top tier hospitality and treated me with excellent service. Given the check in time is later in the afternoon, the front desk accommodated early check-ins arriving around noon. Front desk was very thorough explaining amenities and the hotel fees. Housekeeping team was very accommodating. Rooms are great, nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Great location, walking distance to the wharf with lots of activities to do.The management of this hotel deserves all the praise for this reason: I had a package shipped to the hotel but it didn't arrive until after I had checked out and left town. I contacted the hotel to see what they can do and the director went out of their way to bring the package to the mailing service to do a "return to sender". The package eventually made it back to me. I am a very happy customer and will be staying here again in the future.

Gabriella Rivera: The truth is that I had a very pleasant surprise, on the outside the hotel looks very dated and old, but inside it is modern, comfortable and very quiet despite being between streets that are very busy in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, I don't know. hear no noise coming from outside.Rooms: Very nice rooms, very clean, very comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable of all the hotel beds I have been in. I slept like a princessNearby activities: It is in the center of the city, 1 and a half blocks from the street most visited by tourists, Embarcadero Street, close to many restaurants, clubs, church, everything is within walking distance.Safety: The security of the hotel is very good, very well maintained and protected, you have the option of being able to park your car inside the parking lot of the hotel building, although it has a high cost.Walkability: Super good location 👌🏼 to walk everywhere. It is in the center of the city, 1 and a half blocks from the street most visited by tourists, Embarcadero Street, close to many restaurants, clubs, church, everything is within walking distance.Food & drinks: It has room service, you can also have breakfast at the hotel with buffet service at an extra cost per person.

Shopaholic: and Pier 33 for Alcatraz. We also did the “Big bus” so we could see all the tourist attractions and the first stop was close by so that was convenient. Taking transit in the city was also pretty convenient from this location. If you’re from Toronto, it’s basically like taking the TTC. Overall great experience for our first time in SF!

L C: and trolly stops.Parking is valet only and costs $70 - $85, depending on the size of the car, but there are cheaper overnight parking lots found east of North Point St.Also, a $30 credit is given per room to use at their restaurant, but it's pricey and that credit will be used up quickly. We ordered 3 orange juices and 3 coffees and the bill was over $60. If using the credit to get coffee/juice, make sure you are not getting charged for the full breakfast/brunch.The general building was well kept, the rooms were clean and staff was friendly and attentive.

Arnaud Terrien: Perfect hotel for discovering San Francisco. Very well located not far from Fisherman's Wharf. Spacious and temperate rooms. It is possible to have breakfast either à la carte or at the buffet, offering a variety of choices ranging from sweet to savory, all of good quality but at a relatively excessive price. The servers and reception are smiling and attentive.

Dan Dvorak: . Decent towels. Plenty of USB and charging sockets.Walkability: Located pretty close to the cable-car turnaround and the Fisherman's Wharf. We walked to Pier 39Food & drinks: The hotel bar / restaurant was better than expected. Free sundae was nice.
