Jonathan Hill: Tania helped me with my 2nd and 3rd purchases from the gallery. I am extremely happy with all 3 pieces that I have purchased from the gallery. Christopher-Clark Gallery has provided me with excellent customer service and excellent value.

Alex Johnson: Met Chris at the door just when a retrospective of Sam Francis was about to commence. His kind way was immediately evident and so I joined a sparkling offering on the artist. Edges, whiteness, flying partly done canvasses are suddenly new themes to consider. Thanks for your kindnesses last night. I’m better for it.

Taylor Flowers: Absolutely stunning. The collection of Rembrandt etchings is incredible to be able to see for free. TJ Mueller’s Everest is also stunning to see in person.

David Allen Harris: This is more than a gallery, its a museum

Selinay (Selin): You should visit if you are into art!

Darren Levien: Barry and the team are fantastic. Customer service is the best i've experienced in the industry. Thank you for the beautiful Hockney pieces

Sylvia Rabemanantsoa: We had an amazing time browsing through the gallery with my partner. Gaëtan and Morgan walked us through the different artists and showed us works according to our tastes and our Iikes. Browsing through the collection feels like treasure hunting. We even ended up buying a beautiful painting by a local SF artist who died a few years ago, and they helped us chose a frame. We really loved the warm welcome and how it felt as if we were in our art collector friend salon/living roomThis is truly a hidden gem in the city that I highly recommend.

Patricia Pouncey: Love this team! Definitely great staff and wonderful collaborators. Gaetan and Rob really get to know you and the history behind the art collection. If you have family art that needs to be seen and appreciated by other like minded collectors and designers, this is your place.

Justin Russell: Fantastic collection in a beautiful space. If you're looking for contemporary art in the City, this place is a must visit.

Anthony Bosca: A treasured find! Artist owned and operated. Hundreds of unique original artworks, mostly by California artists. Lots of styles represented including plein aire, portraits, pop, cubist influence, collage, photography. Great current work by the founders Rob Delamater and Gaetan Caron. Charming and expert assistance from Adrian. Prices are very reasonable.

Kat -: Loved the puzzles 😚

Nicole Watts: , but purchasing from their online catalogue was a breeze. Merrill was extremely pleasant to work with, and even though the gallery no longer had the piece I originally ordered, she worked diligently with me to ensure I found another wonderful piece from the same artist. My only complaint is that their collection isn’t larger, so that I could easily avoid buying art from anywhere else ever again! Highly, highly recommend.

Heather Zulim: This place is a gem! The owners know so much about these incredible artists and I so appreciate the storytelling. It's evident they cherish art and appreciate the rich history. I also really appreciated the amount of female artists represented, something that's often lacking. Thank you again! I learned so much and I feel inspired!

James Whitney: Such a cool spot! A mini-Bauhaus in SF 👀

Nadia Valkouskaya: Secret little place full of wonderful art. Treasures in every corner

Heid I: Eye candy!

Robert Ramsdell: Unique gallery offering art of the 20th century. Comfortable to browse the extensive collection of accomplished artists on the edge of discovery. Helpful staff when needed.

Ogust Mac': Nice place to see San Francisco.

Andy Long: The San Francisco Art Institute Was Featured on the Video game Life is Strange The Dark Room

Ben Schaeffer: SFAI was "top of the list" for me when I was applying to grad schools after graduating from Hampshire College back in the Fall of 1998. It was in my top three grad schools, after Yale & UC Berkeley. If I hadn't gotten an opportunity to attend an Ivy League graduate program -- I most likely would have been at SFAI, NO DOUBT! Moved out to the Bay Area in 2004 ANYWAY after I finished grad school back east, but man, would I have LOVED to start my life out here in the Bay Area via grad school.

Jo V: Very large building with weekend exhibitions and events. It’s well located next to the harbour. It’s very busy over the weekend with lots of people walking around! I went when there was a local arts and crafts exhibition, well organised and many many vendors.

Faraz: Loved the buildings, views, and the vibe.

eva gartnerova: Beautiful building and architecture. Famous for its mural from Diego Riviera. The roof top has amazing views for your morning coffee or afternoon snacks and chill. You can explore the building and it’s beautiful corners. We were lucky to see some students temporary exhibitions. 🎨💙

ant bee: took some art classes in the summer here when first Real World on MTV in first season. I had managed to make friends we'd eat lunch together. We saw slides on art. I enjoyed sketching the scenes fast to keep up. Its near the Espirit owners home

Mick: Amazing building and art. The Diego Rivera mural is awesome and the old as well as more modern architecture is incredible!

Izzy: Everything about the board for this school needs reformation, I’m happy to say I’m going back this fall for studio classes once more and putting my best foot forward as I come back from some having a newfound agoraphobia. Sfai is a conceptual art school that’s excellent at healing the students when enough support is present. I am looking forward to the future and showing up for myself as one of the students who never wanted to leave in the first place. I’m the luckiest bleep alive. And I will create even more art.
