Arisa Routh: SFSM truly is one of a kind. I'm grateful to have chosen this school for my CMT training. I recently graduated from the 600-hour DAYS Track and can not believe how much my life has changed within the past six months.Burnout and wanting a pivot in my career and life led me to SFSM, and walking through their doors, I knew this place was special. The warm and welcoming space SFSM has created for students made the perfect learning environment. The curriculum is well-rounded and sets you up with a solid foundation as you go on to learn advanced modalities. The staff and instructors are amazing! Everyone is so kind and friendly. They are truly dedicated to you and your learning. Each instructor brought different perspectives and experiences that were all equally inspirational while also holding a space for us to explore and develop our styles. I can not thank Gary, Sarah, Morgan, Karen, Donny, Annie, Student Services, and the rest of the staff enough for their mentorship and guidance throughout and after the program.I'm also grateful to have learned alongside my wonderful classmates. 3If you're thinking of diving into the world of massage therapy and bodywork, hurry up and register with SFSM.
Jae Scott: Going to SFSM was the best decision I've made so far in my education and career! I recently graduated from the 6 month DAYS track, and I have come out of these 6 months transformed in the best way possible. I am so thankful for this experience 3Everyone at the school is incredibly supportive, kind, and make learning fun! The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and have a wealth of wisdom to share. If you are feeling called to get into massage & bodywork, this is the place to be!
Sarah Wen: SFMS School is a wonderful institution with caring teachers and staff who are always there to help you when needed. I'm grateful to have chosen this school for my massage therapy program.
Sukanya Poompuang: The best school of massage!!! I just finished 600 hours program so awesome! All the teachers so great they help me a lot, good technic and so kind I’m not good in English but it not a problem all the teachers so really what ever. I really love all you guys
Randall Jong: , I can say it was one of the best learning experience of my life. This school offers a thorough curriculum of bodywork and explores a ton of modalities to add to your practice. The instructors are caring, knowledgable, and generous with their unique skill sets and massage experience. The administrative staff are incredibly responsive and helpful with students' logistical needs. In my opinion, the best part of SFSM, aside from the awesome curriculum, is the student clinic and the job placement program. These two opportunities have really given me the confidence as a massage therapist and helped me get started with my practice post-graduation. Yes, it's a lot of work but it really pays off. SFSM wants you to succeed! If you want to become a massage therapist and learn some really cool skills, this school prepares you very well.
Jerry Garcia: SF School of Massage and Bodywork offers the opportunity to learn from some of the best hands in the industry. If you are wanting to bring your holistic health practice to a higher level, seriously consider SFSMBW. The environment is unbelievably supportive and everyone vibrates on a beautiful frequency. I consider myself very lucky to have attended such a wonderful program
Emre Yilmaz: . I attended the evenings track next to my day job and became a CMT recently. The people I met at SFSM
Margaret Hart: This is the best experience I've had in my entire educational journey. The teachers, staff and administration are all very genuine, caring and want to see everyone succeed in this business. The instructors are an abundance of knowledge and they take their time not only teaching you massage techniques but guiding you will personal hand-on approach. I liked the variety of teacher's perspectives on massage techniques, business relations, and interpersonal communications with clientele. This is the BEST school for massage!
Helen L Lee: I recently graduated from the "fast track" Days program and I couldn't be happier with choosing SF School of Massage & Bodywork. It was an inspirational journey and a transformation with my career. I gained a new skill and learned so much about myself throughout the program. It was truly a therapeutic experience for me overall. The staff and teachers are awesome and they sincerely show care for their students and are extremely patient helping us learn the most complex concepts of the subject matter. Every teacher has been inspiring, professional and have different experiences and each of them are roles models for the future generations of massage therapist. After 6 months and 600 hours, I know I have been set up for success in this industry and I feel very confident with the knowledge and skills I have learned. The school also is very proactive about helping students with job placement and keep their doors forever open to for their graduates. I highly recommend to take a tour and consider SF School of Massage and Bodywork.
Gissell Chavez M.: I had a great experience in this school! They teach us many different modalities but at the same time they do not overwhelm you with too many hours like other schools do. The staff and teachers are extremely helpful and friendly. They help you out every step of the way and understand that some people need some extra help to get through the course. This school helped me learn a new skill, enhance those skills and also decide how and where I want to perform these skills. Thank you SFSM!
Ellis Weng: Just graduated 600h DAYS track. It was an absolutely life-changing transformative experience. Staff and instructors were really helpful. Structure of the program was easy to follow and made a lot of sense.
Lise Ramaley: Had a really wonderful experience at SFSM! The hands-on learning environment was very helpful and the teachers and admin were incredibly helpful. The school and teachers go out of their way to support students, take feedback seriously, and are always working to make the program even better. Upon graduating, they continue to support with job placement, going so far as to look over your resume, send your resume out to employers, send you job listings, etc. Would highly recommend!
olivia ellen: I had no anatomy or bodywork experience before starting school, and they did a really great job of starting at the beginning so you don't need any previous knowledge before you start the course. the teachers are great at tailoring the lessons to each individual student, which is possible thanks to the small class sizes. it's always very easy to get a hold of admin, they are so quick to respond and EXTREMELY helpful. one of the many pros of going to a smaller school :
ashley berry: Going to SFSM has been such an amazing experience from the comfortable and relaxed environment to the amazingly talented teachers. Had the best experience and would highly recommend if you are looking to start a career in massage therapy.
Renee Rueda: This has been the best experience in my life. Each teacher has deep knowledge and are more than willing to guide each student individually. They allow us to explore and develop our own styles in a supportive learning environment. Gary, Donny, Karen, Tim, Morgan and the rest of the teachers and administrative staff are so amazing! Best school ever!
CPR FOR YOU NOW: This school have amazing, experienced and wonderful teachers.I recommend if you really want to learn.

Jennifer Valentine: Maya is a very talented massage therapist. I receive a lot of bodywork. Maya’s work is extremely thorough and attentive. She listened very closely to my intentions for the session and appropriately focused on my tight areas. She was able to use a variety of pressure, and actually surprised me at the levels of deep pressure. She addressed some pretty serious knots on my back with very heavy pressure. After the session I felt a ton of relief. All in all, it was an excellent session.
Michaela G: I saw Maya after a broken knee/knee surgery and existing ankle issuesI received a couple of treatments from her and I have a much better range in both knee and ankle, less swelling and walk much betterI can definitely recommend her whole heatedly and will continue seeing her for some more treatments
Clarke Martin: I had a very good experience at Atlas. My massage therapist relieved my physical stress and was welcoming and professional. She set the mood with a warm and friendly manner and was attentive to all of my needs. I would recommend Atlas Massage Center to anyone who is dealing with stress or physical pain and seeking some relief. Maya was terrific. I’m definitely coming back
Eric: I have had a lot of massages and consider myself a connoisseur. Atlas Massage Center never disappoints. I’ve had massages from most of their massage therapists this particular review is about Maya who helped me out with some shoulder and neck pain that is been bothering me for sometime. It was magic! I highly recommend her deep tissue work and Atlas in general.
Ariel: I came to Atlas for my first EVER massage and they now have a dedicated client! I was incredibly anxious as I had no idea what to expect, but Marie was like an angel. So calming and genuine, she reassured me, helped me feel at ease, and relaxed me instantly. Such a soothing experience. I’ve already booked my next appointment with her and can’t wait!
Kathy Goodman: I had a great massage with Avi! They are professional, rooms are spotless and a great experience!
Shari Nakamura: Camila does fantastic body work which sometimes includes cupping, along with advice for me to take better care of myself in between sessions. What a wonderful asset!
Monique Simons: Kimberly is amazing!
R Tamilarasi: Excellent massage.
Fran Palumbo: Rose is amazing! I went to Atlas for the first time looking for a much needed massage hoping for relief from shoulder/neck pain I’d been experiencing. We are moving & putting up our condo for sale so packing, lifting heavy boxes & general stress was really doing a number on my body. Rose worked on my back, neck & shoulders firmly & deeply but it was never painful. Immediately afterwards, I felt great relief, slept soundly that night & was pain free the next day. Definitely going back!
Regan Coakley: Positive:ProfessionalismHave been going here for several years and always have a good experience. Easy online booking and great value.
Aubree Hill: Leslie is the best masseuse I’ve ever had! Highly recommend.
Zack Krumland: Marie and Rose were amazing! Could not recommend them more.
Giuseppe Gadaleta: Camila is amazingExcellent massage

A R: A great treat. Was given a gift card so I opted for the pearl scrub/massage combo, and loved the hot sauna beforehand! Nice, clean, modern facility. All staff is very nice, and it’s a welcoming / relaxed environment so it wasn’t weird being nude.
Nicole Zhou: This is a super nice place to relax. There is a hot and a cold pool, clay spa, jade spa, salt spa, steam and dry sauna. My favorite is the jade spa which I could merge my legs into the little stones. The scrub was good and the massage was ok. Very clean and cozy with some candies and snacks. Park at the groceries across the street and it’s cheap. Prepare some cash for tips or you can Venmo. And be prepared to be naked in the sauna stuffs lol.
damini mathur: My friend and I tried the Pure Bliss treatment, it was very relaxing. Recommend getting there sooner to use their sauna and hot tub services. Great products post treatments too!
Christina Tang: I got the scrub package for my first visit and feel like I came out a completely different person. The staff are very friendly, and my skin was so smooth after the service. Plus the amenities make the price an absolute bargain.
Keegan Smith: I love the Pearl Spa. I go about every 6 months, and I drive up from Sonoma county to visit. I love that it is women only, and I think it is reasonably priced for the services you’re receiving. I love the wet sauna, and the salt room you must check it out when you go! I usually do the body scrub and lymphatic massage, and I always feel great after. One thing I don’t love it you loose your tan when you go because they scrub so much skin!
Lacey Leeder: .
Porscha Castillo, LCSW: Wonderful experience. Nothing like it. Came out feeling like a renewed person ☺️ I got the 24k package.
Basia Borysewicz: I LOVE Pearl! This place is awesome. I’ve been coming regularly for a year now and the service is wonderful. All the ladies who work here are lovely, kind, and accommodating. They truly care about their customers. I come for the 90mins deep tissue massage and the infra red sauna rooms consisting of the Himalayan rock salt and red clay ball plus the spa. I emerge about 3hrs later feeling reborn and relaxed. Every time I sleep incredibly well after the experience and feel amazing the next few days with my skin glowing. I can’t recommend Pearl highly enough!
Richa Jauhri: Just a wonderful experience. Highly recommend
Zsa-Zsa Rensch: I went with a friend who has been going to Pearl for 6 years + and I wasn’t disappointed. It was the BEST way to kick off my birthday. My booked service was the full body scrub which was a 30 minutes service. It left my body clean and soft. The therapist was amazing. I proceeded to the clay ball heated room for abt 20-30 minutes. Then to the Himalayan crystal salt room for another 20-30 minutes. I concluded with the steam room for another 20-30 minutes. All rooms were excellent and clean. I showered before getting dressed. Be sure to read up on the benefits of each room. Three days later and I still feel the detoxing taking place in my body, joints, sinus clearing. It was both a physically stimulating and meditative experience. I’m very grateful for it and I look forward to returning. Thanks to my dear friend F.A. for introducing me to this gem and for helping facilitate a transformative birthday experience. 💎
Jenny Xu: Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and what a fun experience! I didn't know what to expect when I came since I haven't gone to that many spas in SF, but super happy with my experience.Good:- Super nice staff, they explain everything and even told me how to do a cold plunge properly- The hot tub and sauna area are really clean, and they have a lot of amenities, like tea, and sanitized hair brushes- The massage I got was top tier and really was relaxing- They event gave me a nice face mask at the endBad:- There are multiple floors with different stations so you have to climb a fair bit of stairs- Pricey but feels more worth than other places in SF.Overall this place was a relaxing haven and I would come back!
Amanda Wong: and an ATM onsite for cash tips.
Kerry Hajko Connolly: This place is great. I had a long time before check out and my flight and this place was perfect for relaxation. I spent 3.5 hours here enjoying the sauna, steam, hot tub, cold plunge, red clay room, Himalayan salt room followed by a 30 minute scrub and a 60 minute massage. Also it was spotless… Super clean!!!!! Everyone who works there is fantastic. Cant wait for another layover in San Fran.
Brittany Murlas: Pearl Spa thinks of everything - yummy snacks and tea, comfy sandals and robes, and their service offerings are *chef’s kiss.* I love their steam room too!

The other students are also extremely helpful and supportive as well.In terms of future possibilities, I feel well positioned for whatever may happen going forward. Bill Shafer: Had a couples massage here, March 2013
Joe Sanquenetti: Wife said it was the best massage she's ever had
Kelly Clark: amount of pressure to ease away all of my tension!! It was perfect! He’s very skilled and assesses the pain threshold that you can tolerate quickly and intuitively works the rest out. I highly recommend this place and will be back each time I visit San Francisco!
Anastacia: Sumi was excellent in her massage techniques and care. The spa was responsive to my needs and accommodated my service dog and myself.I would highly recommend this spa.
Roz K: Ventra was wonderful. The massage was great. Excellent pressure, good technique and friendly. She knew I was tighter on one side and made sure to give extra attention to that! I will be back for sure! It's easy to book online too, so that was a wonderful feature!

Matthew Wynne: Excellent massage
Carrie Goodman: I have always had an excellent experience at Royal Thai Massage. Ventra was fantastic. Very strong hands. The staff is professional and very nice. Great value.
Bernie Sanders: The “traditional Thai massage” I received From Aileen Was professional and much beyond what I expected in terms of stretching and moving my joints, as well as the pressure point massage. I had expected that my back would be walked upon, but it was not even so I was happy with the service given.

Justin Horn: Walking the streets of San Francisco made better with an amazing foot massage. A good 10 minute soak and firm pressure while reclined.
Kate Hawk: I’ve been coming here for about 15 years. It’s a great spot and I always have great service. It’s a real shame that people feel they should tip Chinese massage therapists less than other people. Clearly, some of these reviews are saying that even if indirectly. These folks giving massages to endless swarms of tourists are not making bags of gold, maybe the owners are, but the therapists aren’t. If you aren’t from a culture that tips and you’re visiting the states you should brush up on the cultural custom.I highly recommend this place and if you don’t like firm pressure just say so immediately, but also know that this style of massage tends to be on the firmer side to begin with so it simply may not be your cup of tea.
Han Vivi: Very comfortable and relaxing. Great massage.
Yu Wang: The massage by the gentleman there was the best I ever had. He had very effective techniques and was highly attentive to knots and stress points. Definitely going back!
Braulio Bethancourt: My mom and my sister came to visit and like the 40 min foot massage. My mom is a hairstylist and she felt relieved after.
Allie Bobak: Really nice spot, kind people, did 40 minute foot massage for $30– included a nice warm food bath .
Tim Short: Excellent massage! One of the best I've ever had, and I've had hundreds of massages. The full body 1 hr massage was $60, and I tiipped $30. Standard tipping is usually $20-30 for a 1 hour massage. Well worth it!!!! My masseuse started with very firm pressure, but I asked her to go softer it was still firm. She worked very hard on my tight muscles. My wife had a similar success here. I will return. Clean and pleasant. Ignore the bad reviews about tipping. Those people are inexperienced and too cheap. You get what you pay for.
one family: We love the decorations indoor. Friendly staff.
Nick C: I haven't had a massage in about 3-5 years. I dont know her name, but man did she do an amazing job. Of course I had tons if knots, I feel the back pain all day. She started off easy and worked her way in nicely, extremely professional, back feels so much better. I am now doing foot massage. I sure it'll be amazing as well!
Veronika Pagacz: Excellent foot massage in San Francisco! I highly recommend this experience.
Ruth Roxas: Jackie is the best! I will come here every day for my foot massage from now on! I can tell best of the best! worth every pennies!
Aida Roxas: Ying is amazing. We looked this place up and this shop has been open for more than 20 years. I am so grateful for the relaxing foot massage. Highly recommend.
Leon Aquitane: A real massage place, one of the few. Pauline did a great job. $60 an hour plus tip. It’s $105 for 2 hours, but I didn’t need that much work done.
