Joyce Lam: Not too crowded even on a nice Saturday afternoon. Picnic tables are nice so we can take turns snacking, hanging out and shooting.

Rob Mead: Nice range

Oliver H: Excellent & ideal place for archery

Matt Nollora: Beautiful range with a good variety of terrain that adds to the challenge to those competing in one of several their invitationals. I personally compete in the 1 Million BC shoot the past few years, that’s a fun tournament!

Jonathan Melian: I've been there twice. Both time the experience has been great. Folks are super nice and even helpful to beginners

刘嘉琦: Awesome coaches and people there, they are very kind and helpful! And various ranges that you can choose from. Great place to start my archery journey.

J Leen: Awesome place to practice archery, very friendly and helpful staff and people.

Bing Santiago: Great Archery Range. Will need to go more often!

Ryan Liddell: Hours are shortened due to covid-19 restrictions. Still, the range is well maintained and there are more than enough target options.

Paul Kaplan: One of the best, most diverse archery ranges in CA. Great practice range & 100 yard range as well as a kiddy range. Very well organized, well run tournaments with lots of volunteers making it happen. Covid safety protocols are rigorously followed. Great teaching program before the CV-19 & hopefully will return after the pandemic is over. Lots of friends converge here to shoot & practice 👍🎯.

Qian Liu: Great place for archery lovers. There are many targets you can choose.

chuck taylor '24: peaceful !! a rare place to getaway and for awhile. leave your stresses on the "back burner"

EK R (ER): Five stars because it's free and in the city and i can bike there. Good place to practice. The backstops are sometimes blown out. Usually quiet, sometimes busy. Bring a target. Sometimes you have to wait.

scott Conver: Not a bad spot to dial in for being in the city.

Monty King: If you love archery, this is a good spot

David Antoine: Great place but targets are in ruins.

Harshita Shyam: Grab your gear and head down here. They have a few lanes that are protected from the westerly winds and sunny most of the day which makes it a nice day out activity with some friends!

Ton T: The lanes are wide so unlike many other ranges, you don’t wait for others to be done to retrieve your arrows. It a bit unnerving really if I see kids around.

Lisa Marie: Love this part of the park.

Alexandra Gradijan: Hey it’s free and I haven’t had to wait more than 10-15 min! Just enough time to set up and get in the zone.

MRBARBARYCOAST: Really fun archery range with a very friendly group of regulars. I learned a bit about archery here and this activity always lowers my stress level. Very peaceful early morning. I wish the city with the vast amount of OUR tax dollars would do their job with replacing bales and maintaining the field instead of relying on good people volunteering their time and money. Damn shame.

Gordon Huang: Beautiful field and really open area. There is loc shop that does rental. It is really crowded during the weekend, but the wait is short ~30 mins.

Colin Stuart: Volunteer-run archery club with shooting range and several courses. Friendly and supportive community. There are monthly volunteer work Saturdays to maintain the course and meet folks.

M F: . We weren’t able to experience the entire course. I’d like to return and try it out.

Chaz Bennett: This is a great Archery range

Javier Garcia: Cool spot, nice and peaceful.

Dong Xiao (Fire): Great archery range. The practice ranges have 2 parts, from 10 yards all the way up to 80 yards. The field range has 42 targets. Easy parking next to the range.

Ton T: Solid East Bay archery spot with parking nearby. A members hit with two practice ranges and two trail ranges. A $5 donation is suggested to help members keep the place going.

Jason Burns: You gotta hike in but its very peaceful

Dong Xiao (Fire): with 42 targets of various distances. Both are great.Things to watch out: if you are not a member and there isn't a tournament, you have to park in the park's parking lot and walk 0.8 miles to the range. They don't have tap water or power, but they do have restrooms with hand wash.

Gina Doell: I like the location even with a bit of a hike. There were several targets for practicing and a 3D section with about 18 different targets to trek around. It's in a beautiful setting and the day I went didn't have many people.

KSD Ksd: Fun range after a quick hike,, range from 20-100 yard on range, ang to extensive hiking & shootiing trail

Mekhi Smith: This place is beautiful and great and I definitely recommend to come with the family

Eric Miller: This is my favorite range in the east bay. It requires a short hike in, but well worth it. There is a very nice open target range and then a course that will take you up a hillside of Briones. Open to the public and fun for all ages! Remember to bring water, as there is not a faucet/fountain inside park grounds.

mauricio avalos: Good place to go for a walk

Danny Johnson: Nice archery course, and if you're into archery it's totally worth visiting. The target backings are a tough material that bounced back my 28lb bow arrows quite a few times. Well kept course in general.

Adam Ament: Decent hike. Great course, nice people, beautiful surroundings

Robert Whalen: Excellent archery range. Beautiful back in the valley and up on the hill. Like hiking through “Sherwood Forest”.

Rob Zimmerman: This is one of the most beautiful field ranges I've visited. Engaging, challenging and interesting shots, beautiful scenery, very nicely laid out. The walk from the parking lot is significant, especially if you want to walk and shoot the field range. Be prepared with food, water and all of your gear. Unfortunately, the field range targets rarely have faces on them, particularly in the off season. Carrying target faces and walking each target 3+ times greatly detracts from the enjoyment of such a wonderful range. I hope the club and/or park can get things together to have some type of faces on the field targets to shoot at. For now, I will continue to shoot the Redwood range in Oakland instead of Briones, as that range is well-maintained and consistently has faces on the field targets.

Scott Nope: Great range, bring plenty of water and bug spray just in case. Bit of a hike to get to and it sometimes costs $5 to get into the park, but still the best around. The only 100 yard target shooting I can find anywhere.

Archimedes Ala: Beautiful walk and scenery on the way to the range.

Kent Grelling: Great range just a long walk from the parking lot. However, there is almost never anyone here. Even on a weekend afternoon. It is also well set up and easy to use.

Romer Panaguiton: Nice walk and good looking range. The targets are nicely arranged and varying in difficulty and inclination.

Rahim B: Awesome

Trevor Frey: The roughly half hour hike in and out isn't so bad I was not prepared for the amount of mud at the actual range however. It's a very shady range I do not recommend visiting in the rainy season without proper footwear.

James Conger: This field archery range is open to the public. You will need to hike in about a mile from the Briones Regional Park staging area. Exit from the east end of the parking area and follow the signs to the range. There is a large practice range with bales from 10 to 60 yards. The 28 target field archery range starts next to the practice range. There are also animal targets set up to the SW on a hill course.

Nate horton: Nice range, nice people. I like the material used for targets. Stops my arrows nicely, and easy to pull. Only thing I dislike is the hike in from the parking lot. Not that bad, but I'd rather not do it.
